police say a hispanic male driving a newer model dark gray or black b-m-w approached a 14-year-old girl who was walking home from school. the driver reportedly told the girl he was low on gas and offered her a ride if she gave him money.. she declined and he drove away. the vehicle was described as having a paper dealership advertisement instead of license plates. ( robin ) happening now... police are looking for a killer after a teenage boy was shot and killed yesterday evening in antioch. it happened in the parking lot of a lucky supermarket on east 18th street. the boy was shot several times and died at the scene. police have not released any information about a possible shooter. ( robin ) new this morning... a 60-year-old man injured in a hit-and-run last week in san francisco has died. the man has been identified as norman tanner. the hit-and-run happened back on october third when a driver ran a red light at the

intersection of baker and oak streets. the driver of the car stopped and got out of the car after the crash but then got back in the car and took off. police are still looking for the driver this morning. they say itwas a woman who was driving a black or dark blue toyota prius with front end damage. ( robin )happening now...san francisco police need your help finding the men who assaulted five people inside a home in the city's silver terrace neighborhood.it happened saturday morning just before 4 at the home on the first block of topeka avenue. police say five men stormed into the home with guns, assaulted the residents, and robbed them.the victims received non-life threatening injuries and declined to go to the hospital.if you can help with this investigation, call police. ( robin ) another big story we are following this morning... high winds and sagging pg&e power lines... caused the cascade fire in yuba county last year. that's according to calfire.

officials say the winds caused the power lines to touch... creating an electrical arc... sending sparks into dry vegetation. the 20-17 cascade fire killed four people and destroyed more than 250 buildings. pg&e is facing dozens of lawsuits from insurers... which have spent billions of dollars settling homeowners' ( robin ) another big sotry we are following... the muni bus driver who crashed into a building last month has died. 66-year old milton james, from san francisco, died from the injuries he suffered during the crash. the accident happened back on september 10th in san francisco. the muni bus crossed the center divider on lombard street and crashed into a dry cleaning business. three other people were hurt... all have recovered. milton was with muni for 38 years. harvest. the problem she believes is that people think her company is affliated with the one in new york because they share the same name. satti. we have never had a problem. i take safety very carefully. and there is this.... monday night someone threw pumpkins vandalizing some of the limo's. they have since been cleaned up, but satti says it is concerning. satti. rules here in california are much different then in new york. while the investigation into the crash in new york is underway, satti talked with me about how california recently toughened up laws regulating limosinces following the tragic death involving a bacherlotte party. the limo erupted in flames on the san mateo bridge. 5 women died. now satti explains all limos must have two fire extenguishers one in front and one in the back. no child locks. there must be a an escapte hatch in the back and the chp must inspect every vehicle every year. satti. nothing is more important than safety to me. nothing. satti says she hopes people will understand her company which has been around for 23 years, has nothing to do with the one in new york. and when that happens, she hopes the phone will start ringing again soon. te

the lawsuit as jane doe... says she has been going to the spa for the past 15 years. she'd even gotten massages from this therapist 4 or 5 times in the past with no incident... the woman shared her story with kron 4. ( robin ) she did file a report with oakland police immediately following the incident. police officials say it is an open investigation. so far the therapist has not been arrested or charged with a crime. the claremont hotel has not responded to our requests for comment. ( robin ) community leaders are discussing ways to confront the growing human trafficking issue in the bay area. a town hall meeting was held in dublin tuesday. state assemblywoman catharine baker sponsored the event that featured law enforcement and local non profit organizations. she says

the problem is widespread. ( robin ) over the last seven years in alameda county, more that 4700 youth were identified as being at risk or already involved in commercial sexual exploitation. ( robin ) happening now... social media posts in san francisco's sunset district have prompted the city to test the drinking water. the water was tested one month ago.. but officials were back at the sunset reservoir yesterday conducting another round of water quality tests. the tests come after several days of online posts warning residents that home testing kits have found tap water contaminated with pesticid. city officials say they are confident the water is safe.

parents on the use of e- cigarettes among teenagers. kron 4's ali reid has more on the reaction from parents in morgan hill. the school district says vaping is a nationwide epidemic ...after numerous phone calls from parents asking the signs of vaping, the district decided it was time to address the issue.pkg thats marijuana wax. uh huh. these are vape. vape vape vape, marijuana, both, both both both ...parents and their children showed up for an informational session .... patti marentes needed answers. her 11 year old son george was caught at school with a vape pen.they called me. i didn't know what to expect so when i got to the office i was in shock. i was like what do you mean he has that? i was ready to take the belt and whoop him. marijuana and vape pens are a growing trend among teens and pre-teens. the packaging has gotten so obscure, parents sometimes have no idea what they're looking at.i don't know whats the difference so

( robin ) it was a scary morning for one northern california neighborhood as a school bus goes barreling through multiple fences. the california highway patrol is investigating the crash that happened yesterday. so far speed.. drugs and alcohol have ánot been ruled out as playing a role in the crash. police say the bus driver and one student who was on board are traumatized but okay. ( robin ) a popular bakery in the mission district has shut down after decades of business. la victoria mexican bakery and cafe which is on the corner of 24th street and alabama street closed last night. they've been in business for 67 years and they're being forced to close because the new owners of the building-- are evicting the owners of the bakery.... although this location has shut down-- they'll continue

found a family of mice inside. 7 total. at first the mom thought they were little vienna sausages rolling across the floor... until she says they started moving and squeeking. the boys thought the mice were cute... and pleaded to take them home. mom agreed... and the 2 boys released them back into the wild. the boys mother told reporters that she's proud of her sons... for having so much compassion for the animals... when anyone else would have been grossed out. as for k-mart, they say that all of the other boot boxes have been checked... and there are no more mice. man injured in a hit-and-run last week in san francisco has died. the man has been identified as norman tanner. the hit-and-run happened back on october third when a driver ran a red light at the intersection of baker and oak streets. the driver of the car stopped and out of the car after the crash but then got back in the car and took off. police are still looking for the driver this morning. they say it was a woman who was driving a black or dark blue toyota prius with front end damage. ( darya ) happening today... the man accused of being the 'gypsy hill killer' will appear in court for sentencing. rodney halbower was found guilty of raping an murdering two teenage girls.. 42 years ago. police believe he is responsible for other crimes in northern california and reno, nevada. the judge is required to sentence halbower under the sentencing laws of 19-76.. the year the crimes occurred. police arrested one man for burglary after finding him in the act. according to police 46-year-old lamont jackson broke into at least 20 separate storage units. on september 21st police responded to the 14-hundred block of folsom street for a burglary in progress. that's when they found jackson attempting to leave a business with stolen items. jackson was charged with 20 counts of burglary and a probation violation. ( james )new this morning... a guerneville man is arrested for having child porn. santa rosa police arrested 39- year-old michael wiley robins yesterday for possession of child pornography. back in august, a local business called police after finding robins flash drive. that flash drive had over 30 images of minors in disturbing sexual poses. police believe that robins does ánot have any connection to the victims in those pictures. robins was booked in the sonoma county jail.
