received a threat as the search continues for her husband's killer. well, it has been more than a month. . . .the santa clara county sheriff's office says that this vehicle, a black 2004-2005 nissan titan, was driven by nissan titan, was driven by suspects in the murder of 28 year old frankie santos jr back on the morning of september 2nd. this image was taken from surveillance video near the scene of the crime. this is a stock photo of a simliar vehicle.on thursday afternoon frankie santos's widow, sky, spoke to reporters. she's hoping that this new piece of information will help lead to an arrest in her husband's murder.sotthis could of happened to anyone and that's why it so important that we catch this person.she also says that she and a group of friends was recently threatened while handing out flyers in their neighborhood. sotwe were interuppred by a truck that drove by with a threatening passenger. this

truck fired a gun and the police pursued on a high speed chase. the next day two juveniles were apprehended and we don't know if they were involved in my husband's murder.sky says the incident and the death of her husband have left her terrified and that they have not returned home since.sotnot being able to go back at all is really hard and i feel like it's not safe.despite all that has happened, sky and her family are determined to find frankie's killer. they say he was a good man and a good father who didn't deserve to be murdered. soti want to stress to you that my husband was an innocent bystander. he was hard working, a good father and didn't have any conflict with anyone. the santos family, along with mothers against murder, have also increased the reward for information about the reward for information about the murder to 10,000 dollars. say he was 17 year old police have identified the 17-year-old omar zaragosa. the shooting happened tuesday in the parking lot of a lucky supermarket on east 18th street. zaragoza was shot several times and died at the scene. the description of the shooter has not been released yet. (will)in the east bay... a group of activists are calling out catholic priest, steven whelan, who they say... was found águilty of molesting joey piscitelli almost 50- years ago. back then piscitelli was a teenager... and whelan served as a vice principal at salesian high school in richmond. piscitelli and other members of survivors network of those abused by priest... wants father whelan removed from his priestly duties. father whelen now serves at the local community of salesians at don bosco hall in berkeley.

today... workers will be back on the picket lines at marriott hotels all across the country. workers at five hawaii hotels were back on the picket line yesterday demanding better pay. almost 27-hundred hotel workers have been on strike since monday. last week thousands of marriott employees here in the bay area also began a strike. most of the workers in the say they have to work a second job to afford to live in the bay area. for guests planning stays at the hotel... marriott says it will not waive cancellation fees if visitors choose to cancel their reservations. arroval of a development that will include a mix of low income housing, retail and office space accoding to reed moulds with the developer sand hill properties. reed moulds/sand hill properties "....there is a lot of enthusiam because we've been working on this project full of optimism and it's been circuitous to get here and we now have two plans which means this project is getting done..."the project, to be known as the cuprtino town center, is the first to qualify under sb-35, a new state law that allows cities to fast-track projects that include a certain amount of affordable housing. the city must still decide between two competing plans. the sb-35 plan calls for roughly 24- hundred homes, retail and office space or a community driven plan which calls for a slightly different mix of housing and office space but would include a new city hall and performing arts center.

year-old hannah hart contacted them to help identify human remains found near the crash scene. scientists previously compared dna from the remains with samples from hannah's biological siblings, markis and abigail, but the results were inconclusive. hannah and her 15-year-old brother devonte hart have been unaccounted for since the vehicle wafound. authorities recovered the bodies of jennifer hart and sarah hart, along with siblings markis, jeremiah, abigail and sierra. ( will ) bart will have to pay 650-thousand dollars for safety failures that led to a train hitting and killing two workers. the incident happened five years ago while the men were inspecting the tracks during a 2013 union strike. the train that hit the workers was part of a training exercise to teach managers how to drive - in the event of a prolonged walkout. the california public utilities

commission also placed bart on three years of probation. the commission says the fine will be doubled if there are any safety violations during that period. ( will ) bart will spend more time during the day cleaning up some stations in the city's mission district. the plazas and walkways at the 16th street mission and 24th street mission stations have been power washed for one hour each night... but starting in november that will be increased to four hours a night. the 16th street station has more than 12,000 riders a day. bart says the power washing is necessary to keep clean areas that tend to accumulate stains and litter. ( will ) an area in belvedere will soon be off limits as crews fix a seawall that's in eminent danger of collapsing. a state of emergency has been declared while engineers work to secure the 100-year-old seawall. its going to cost 550-thousand dollars to install sheet pilings deep into the bay mud

to prop up the seawall. eventually, sheet pilings will be installed on the entire wall, spannning about 800 feet. belevedere city manager craig middleton says the seawall shifted about two inches in the past six months. ( will ) the city is also planning a 20-million dollar project to increase the height of all of the communty's seawalls by 20-21 -- in response to rising sea levels. middleton hopes the repairs are made in november... can't and you need to send a text, dispatchers will not know your location by gps.. so it's important to include your location in that message. ( will ) in the north bay... a water quality advisory has been lifted in the fountain-grove area of santa rosa. that neighborhood was one of the hardest hit during the 'north bay wildfires.' 15-hundred homes were destroyed.. and only 13 remain standing. people who live in those surviving homes.. reported the water tasting and smelling unusual last november. water officials say slightly elevated levels of contaminants were found in the water because of the fires. over the last year... the water system was restored.. and now residents can use that tap water again. ( darya ) in the south bay... santa clara sheriff's office have released a picture of a truck they believe was in involved in last months murder of frankie santos junior. deputies say this black 20-04 or 20-05 nissan titan was driven the shooters. yesterday afternoon santos' widow says she and a group of her friends were recently threatened while

handing out flyers in their neighborhood. she says a truck drove up next to them and fired a gun.. a police chase ensued. two juveniles were arrested. since that incident... she has not returned home. but she says they are even more determined to find her husband's killer.

( james ) potential relatives of one of the six children presumed dead when their adopted mother drove them and her wife off a cliff are working with investigators. the mendocino county sheriff's office says the potential relatives of 16- year-old hannah hart contacted them to help identify human remains found near the crash scene. scientists

previously compared dna from the remains with samples from hannah's biological siblings, markis and abigail, but the results were inconclusive. hannah and her 15-year-old brother devonte hart have been unaccounted for since the vehicle was found. authorities recovered the bodies of jennifer hart and sarah hart, along with siblings markis, jeremiah, abigail and sierra. ( james ) bart will have to pay 650-thousand dollars for safety failures that led to a train hitting and killing two workers. the incident happened five years ago while the men were inspecting the tracks during a 2013 union strike. the train that hit the workers was part of a training exercise to teach managers how to drive - in the event of a prolonged walkout. the california public utilities commission also placed bart on three years of probation. the commission says the fine will be doubled if there are any safety violations during that period. ( darya ) bart will spend more time during the day cleaning up some stations in the city's mission district. the plazas and walkways at the 16th street mission and

24th street mission stations have been power washed for one hour each night... but starting in november that will be increased to four hours a night. the 16th street station has more than 12,000 riders a day. bart says the power washing is necessary to keep clean areas that tend to accumulate stains and litter. ( darya ) nurses at san leandro hospital say they are concerned for the safety of their patients because of staffing shortages. the california nurses association held a news conference at the hospital thursday. hospital officials say patients face long waiting times because there are no beds available. organizers say the rally was held in an effort to bring attention wo what they say are unsafe working and patient care conditions.

( darya ) in the south bay... santa clara sheriff's office have released a picture of a truck they believe was in involved in last months murder of frankie santos junior. deputies say this black 20-04 or 20-05 nissan titan was driven the shooters. yesterday afternoon santos' widow says she and a group of her friends were recently threatened while handing out flyers in their neighborhood. she says a truck drove up next to them and fired a gun.. a police chase ensued. two juveniles were arrested. the santos family... along with mothers against murder have increased the reward for information to 10-thousand dollars. ( james ) we now know the name of a boy who was shot and killed in antioch. police say he was 17 year old was omar zaragosa. the

shooting happened tuesday in the parking lot of a lucky supermarket on east 18th street. zaragoza was shot several times and died at the scene. the description of the shooter has not been released yet. ( james ) a big story this morning. a former oakland police officer has pleaded guilty to taking bribes and helping a long time long informan avoid prosecution. harry hu now faces up to fives years in prison. hu spent 26 years with oakland police. he retired in 20-07. ( darya ) in the north bay... sonoma police are investagting after a woman says she was assaulted while exercising on fryer creek trail. the 29-year-old woman says she was walking south on the trail just south of manor drive around 6 p-m. she says she heard someone running up behind her.. she say a man grabbed her butt and tried to put his hand up her shirt. the woman says she punched the man and he ran north toward manor drive. sonoma police are on extra patrols on the bike paths in the sonoma area. ( james )in the east bay... a group of activists are calling out catholic priest, steven whelan, who they say... was found águilty of molesting joey piscitelli almost 50- years ago. back then piscitelli was a teenager... and whelan served as a vice principal at salesian high school in richmond. piscitelli and other members of the group "survivors network of those abused by priest"... wants father whelan removed from his priestly duties. father whelen now serves at the local community of salesians at don bosco hall in berkeley.

( darya ) kron 4's gayle ong talked to the mayor about what's being done about the issue. the mayor says its a regional problem..the city is well aware.people say they love downtown livermore but they've seen an increase in homelessness,there's major concern after a reported

assault at a grocery store. a facebook post has residents in livermore on high alert..a woman said she was assaulted at this grocery store and sent to the emergency room after she tried to stop shoplifters from stealing a pack of lighters.. the shoplifters are apparently homeless and living at an encampment off 580..deanna smith does not know the victim but says homelessness has been going on in the city of livermore for quite some time deanna's daughter april lalls noticed a spike in homelessness in the downtown areamayor john marchand (mar-shawn) says the city is aware of the growing problem

percent are working, they just can't afford housing here."> mayor marchand says 90 percent of the homeless in livermore are veterans not recieving benefits they were entitiled.. and family members of people living in the citymarchand says he is aware of the assault at the grocery store but is asking for the communty's help.. livermore police confirm there have been complaints about shoplifters involving the homelessmeantime, the mayor has assigned two police officers to monitor themand is efforting afforable housing to be built in the area.live in livermore gayle ong kron4 news. ( james ) potential relatives of one of the six children presumed dead when their adopted mother drove them and her wife off a cliff are working with investigators. the mendocino county sheriff's office says the potential relatives of 16- year-old hannah hart contacted

them to help identify human remains found near the crash scene. scientists previously compared dna from the remains with samples from hannah's biological siblings, markis and abigail, but the results were inconclusive. hannah and her 15-year-old brother devonte hart have been unaccounted for since the vehicle was found. authorities recovered the bodies of jennifer hart and sarah hart, along with siblings markis, jeremiah, abigail and sierra. ( james ) bart will have to pay 650-thousand dollars for safety failures that led to a train hitting and killing two workers. the incident happened five years ago while the men were inspecting the tracks during a 2013 union strike. the train that hit the workers was part of a training exercise to teach managers how to drive - in the event of a prolonged walkout. the california public utilities commission also placed bart on three years of probation. the commission says the fine will be doubled if there are any safety violations during that period. ( darya ) bart will spend more time during the day

cleaning up some stations in the city's mission district. the plazas and walkways at the 16th street mission and 24th street mission stations have been power washed for one hour each night... but starting in november that will be increased to four hours a night. the 16th street station has more than 12,000 riders a day. bart says the power washing is necessary to keep clean areas that tend to accumulate stains and litter. ( darya ) nurses at san leandro hospital say they are concerned for the safety of their patients because of staffing shortages. the california nurses association held a news conference at the hospital thursday. hospital officials say patients face long waiting times because there are no beds available. organizers say the rally was held in an effort to bring attention wo what they say are unsafe working and patient care conditions. ( darya ) however the hospital says the reduction in staff has to do with lower volume of patients one department is getting. ( james ) in the north bay... a water quality advisory has been lifted in the fountain-grove area of santa rosa. that neighborhood was one of the hardest hit during the 'north bay wildfires.' 15-hundred homes were destroyed.. and only 13 remain standing. people who live in those surviving homes.. reported the water tasting and smelling unusual last november. water officials say slightly elevated levels of contaminants were found in the water because of the fires. over the last year... the water system was restored.. and now residents can use that tap water again.
