( marty ) three teenagers are facing charges following a fire that damaged a k-f-c restaurant in antioch. it happened early morning on mahoghany way. all old...that includes raveena raman who police say worked at the restaurant. investigators say firefighters couldn't save the building.. because the suspects used an accelerant. police say the suspects also burglarized the restaurant three times in the last several weeks. < what we found unusual is that all three suspects that are now in custody are all 18 years old. have little to no known criminal history so what's still remains a mystery is what motivated them what drove them to commit a crime of this sort.>( marty ) it took 20 units and 50 firefighters to contain the blaze. the damage will cost around one million dolalrs. san jose has released 15 names of priests with credible allegations of sexual abuse of children. says it atteteas includes the names of priests, the allegations and the year the abuse allegedly occurred, the year it was reported to diocese of san jose, the current status of the priest, either permanently banned from the ministry, retired or no longer living and a history of their assignments. there is only one priest on the list with a report made in 2018, father phil sunseri. he has a previous report of abuse in 1987. he was permanently banned from the priesthood a year later. he currently lives in san jose. in a text message i asked him if he saw a recent report alledging that he massaged the backs of two high school boys? his response phil sunseri: "oh sorry yes i have. the young men who were over 15

( marty )'rlearning more about deadly limo crash that happened earlier this month in upstate new york. new york state police says the 20 victims all died due to "multiple severe traumatic blunt force injuries." it's still unknown why the limo -- packed with birthday party guests -- ran through a stop sign and crashed into a parked s-u-v. all 17 passengers were killed. so was the driver and two pedestrians. toxicology reports won't be released in the crash until the n-t-s-b completes its investigation. reporting a mild flu season so far this year. it released a report friday saying flu activity was minimal across 49 states. flu related deaths are also down. the research is based on the total number of lab-confirmed flu cases. that doesn't count people with the flu who don't see a doctor. the agency reports five-and a half percent increase of deaths during the first week of october were due to pneumonia and influenza. that's below the normal rate for this time of year. and doctors' visits for flu-like illness are also below normal. ( marty ) people in alameda have water service again... after crews had to fix the same water main twice in two days. the original leak was discovered and fixed on high street thursday. and then friday, a new leak was discovered just six feet away. as crews were fixing that one... the leaky area from thursday burst again. water was back on for all affected customers friday afternoon. ( marty ) a man will spend more than 30 years in prison for killing a mother and her daughter in a drunk driving

crash in livermore. prosecutors say brian jones lost control of his car when he crashed into an apartment complex back in 20-15. the crash killed esperanza morales and her 14 month old daughter ulidia. two other children were injured. jones' blood alcohol was almost twice the legal limit.. ( marty ) in the north bay... while everyone else has been paying attention to mega millions, one man in sebastopol has been stealing scratchers. the sebastopol police department says this man went into several gas stations in sonoma county and stole hundreds of dollars worth of lottery scratchers... no word on if he's won any money... but if you have any information please contact the sebatsopol police department. ( marty ) the napa county sheriff's office has a few new ways to communicate with residents in case of another large fire. these evacuation tags are free for residents to place on their gates, cars and homes to tell officials that the people living there have evacuated. officials say this will save

( marty )state regulators are investigating the cause of that natural gas pipeline fire in contra costa county. it forced thousands of people in pittsburg and bay point out of their homes for more than 15 hours. kron4's terisa estacio has new video of the location where the fire started. tersia estacio: classes resumed at this school in pittsburg, and as life gets back to normal, we are getting a closer look at that vault where the fire took place and disrutped so many lives. you can see where the fire made it's mark - the heat so intense, it blistered the top of this concrete vault. deep inside, the damaged natural gas pipeline, now shut down as several different agencies investigate what happened out here...on friday, kron four news learned the california public utilities commission - who oversees pipelines dispatched a team from it's safety enforcement division to

figure out what went wrong... and how to make sure it doesn't happen again as it put thousands of as it put thousands of lives at risk. what is known... right now is this... on wednesday, right here, a small grass fire broke out, several feet away from the vault.... a pge spokesperson has said, a downed power line occurred because of birds. fire crews put out the fire, but then during mop up... fire officials say they notice smoke coming out of the vault... you can see in this infrared video from the pittsburg police department the fire raging underneath the fault. the temperature around 400 degrees. fire officials say they grew increasingly concned because inside the

this morning. the c-d-c is reporting a mild flu season so far this year. it released a report friday saying flu activity was minimal across 49 states. flu related deaths are also down. the research is based on the total number of lab-confirmed flu cases. that doesn't count people with the flu who don't see a doctor. the agency reports five-and a half percent increase of deaths during the first week of october were due to pneumonia and influenza. that's below the normal rate for this time of year. and doctors' visits for flu-like illness are also below normal. district where the latin culture is celebrated. she now lives here after she twice crossed the us mexico border with the help of a guide known as a coyote.the migrant wanted to share her story but for fear of getting deported kept her identity private.she says it was simpler then...back in 1996 for less than 1000 dollars all she had to do was fake losing her id and she was in...sot: i crossed easily i just told the agent i forgot my id. i stood in line and they let me through."then in 2011 she risked it all to return to mexico city and say goodbye to her dying mother...when on her way back to the states to reunite with her husband and two children...she arizona and jail one month.sot: they treated me like a delinquint as if i had killed someone. they put me in a horrible, cold cell. i bathed in freezing water... i didnt know how my family was doing and they didn't know about me. it was really hard. really hard. it still really

( marty ) a man will spend more than 30 years in prison for killing a mother and her daughter in a drunk driving crash in livermore. prosecutors say brian jones lost control of his car when he crashed into an apartment complex back in 20-15. the crash killed esperanza morales and her 14 month old daughter ulidia. two other children blood alcohol was almost twice the legal limit.. ways to communicate with residents in case of another large fire. these evacuation tags are free for residents to place on their gates, cars and homes to tell officials that the people living there have evacuated. officials say this will save time and allow them to concentrate on those residents who need the most help evacuating. they also re- programed more than 40 car sirens to give off warning alerts. of this concrete vault. deep inside, the damaged natural gas pipeline, now shut down as several different agencies investigate what happened out here...on friday, kron four news learned the california public utilities commission - who oversees pipelines dispatched a team from it's safety enforcement division to figure out what went wrong... and how to make sure it doesn't happen again as it put thousands of lives at risk. what is known... right now is this... on wednesday, right here, a small grass fire broke out, several feet away from the vault.... a pge spokesperson has said, a downed powerline occurred because of birds. fire crews put out the fire, but then

during mop up... fire officials say they notice smoke coming out of the vault... you can see in this infrared video from the pittsburg police department the fire raging underneath the fault. the temperature around 400 degrees. fire officials say they grew increasingly concned because inside the vault was not one but two pipelines. a large scale evacuation was ordered. fortunately, the fire died down and evenutally crews were able to snuf it out, and lift the evacuation order. besides state regulators examining the pipeline incident... chevron is looking into the matter. a chevron spokesperson sent us this statement quote: a team of chevron experts is investigating the cause of the incident and inspecting and testting the integrity of the pipeline. and contra costa fire protection district is also conducting their own examination. (estacio: chevron also says they will keep the pipes closed, till safe)

( marty ) car crashes are up by as much as six-percent in the first states to legalize the sale of recreational marijuana. the number of accidents in nevada, oregon, colorado, and washington state have all increased... that's compared to some neighboring states that have not legalized recreational pot... the study used accidents in idaho, montana, utah, and wyoming as a comparision. other states where marijuana is either decriminalized or allowed for medical use were not included in the study. ( marty ) california is a step closer to allowing marijuana deliveries in communities that have banned retail sales regulators announced preliminary approval friday. that's despite objections from cities and police chiefs who say the policy will lead to crime. cities have been able to ban retail sales. but regulators say the law says local governments cannot "prevent deliveries of cannabis."
