the man accused of sending at least 13 pipe bombs through the mail is facing at least five federal charges. cesar sayoc was arested friday following an urgent four-day nationwide manhunt. he is being held in a federal jail in ami. reporter camila bernal, is outside the jail with the very latest. camila? cesar sayoc is currently being held at a federal detention center at this complex behind me but the director of the fbi says this is just the beginning and he warns that

there still could be more bombs in the mail.jeff sessions / attorney general: i am pleased to participate in this announcement that a suspect is in the custody of the fbi.authorities say they've caught the person responsible for sending more than a dozen explosive devices through the mail to prominent democrats and critics of president trump and today we're learning more about the suspect -- 56-year-old florida resident cesar sayoc.a former boss says sayoc was a good employee but that he also had, "crazy political views."debra gureghian / former boss of cesar sayoc: he told me more than once, 'debra, i like you as a manager, but i hate you for being a lesbian. and if i had complete autonomy, you and all of these other people would be eradicated'. and sayoc's former attorney, who represented him for at least five years starting in 2000 or 2001, says sayoc was a loner who lacked an understanding of reality.ron lowry / sayoc's former attorney: he suffered from certainly an identification issue as to who he was. he needed people to be impressed with him. he had issues of insecurity. what authorities don't yet know, whether they have recovered

all of the suspicious devices, and are encouraging anyone with information to come forward.chris wray / fbi director: each device consisted of roughly six inches of pvc pipe, a small clock, a battery, some wiring and what is known as energetic material. though we're still analyzing the devices in our laboratory, these are not hoax devices.now sayoc is expected here in court in miami on monday at 2 p.m. he's facing five federal charges, among them, sending an illegal device and also making threats to a former president and others. if convicted he could face up to 48 years in prison. now this case will ultimately be prosecuted in new york. reportin in miami, florida, i'm camila bernal. thanks camilla. two of those devices were intercepted right here in the bay area and in sacramento. the packages were meant for democratic party activist.. tom steyer and democratic senator ka-mala harris. kron 4s gayle ong has the story. investigators can be seen at the u.s post office on rollins road in burlingame friday.out of thousands of packages scanned at the facility - one deemed suspicious intended for liberal billionaire tom steyer.

around 10. kron 4's sara stinson is joining us now live with the latest on the investigation. caltrain's san mateo station was reopened late friday night after a nonfatal shooting in the transit center parking lot, according to authorities. the station was closed for about two hours starting around 10 p.m. friday because of the shooting, according to caltrain officials. san mateo police department spokesman capt. dave norris said officers were called to reports of a "disturbance" near tilton avenue and b street around 9 p.m. officers found a man who had been shot in the caltrain station parking lot. the man was taken to a nearby hospital with non life-threatening injuries, norris said. no suspects had been arrested late friday night, norris said. he said officers believe the shooting was gang-related.

( marty ) this morning we are getting a look at the moments pittsburg police shot and killed a man earlier this week. it happened after 37-year-old salvador morales allegedly shot a family member and kidnapped his estranged wife and baby. kron 4's

( marty )sacramento police say it has concluded it's investigation into the deadly shooting of stephon clark. officials released a timeline of events from the shooting in march through the final interviews 10 days ago. they also looked at video from dy cams, in car cameras and the sheriff's department helicopter. the officers that fired the shots are still on duty --- but are not on patrol. police say they have pursuit and body camera policies. it is now up to the district attorney if charges will be filed against the two officers who killed clark. responsible for sending over a dozen mailed pipe bombs to critics of president trump... is being held in a florida federal jail this morning. police arrested cesar sayoc at an auto parts store in plantation, florida friday morning... after a 4-day manhunt. the f-b-i says sayoc sent bombs mostly to democratic officials who often spoke out against the president. police say he had been living out of his van... after his parents recently kicked him out. that van was covered with political decals... some showing images of democrats with targets on their heads. sources say investigators used his cell phone to track him down... after his fingerprint and d.n.a. evidence were found on some of the packages. ( marty ) happening now...the fbi is testing a suspicious package found in burlingame. the package was taken to the san francisco police department's firing rage moments after it was discovered. the firing range was chosen because its just a short drive from burlingame. f-b-i bomb technicians made the

... the story of the high flying journey for two young bears found in mariposa county. their destination was a bear rehabitation center in southern california. but how to transport two bears from here to there? kron4's ken wayne came to the rescue. 03 i might have to take my seats out. hi are you denise? hi. hi, i'm ken. nice to see you. hi, i'm carole. hi. 08 denise upton and her crew met me and my wife carole at the south lake tahoe airport. denise is the animal care director at lake tahoe wildlire care and was here to hand over two bear cubs that i was going to fly to southern

california.cg: :20denise upton/lake tahoe wildlife care 2442 they were too small to be hibernated throughout the winter so we thought we would send them down south where they could feed them all winter and get them nice and fat for release. 2451more on the bears in a moment... but first... we needed to load them up.the bears are in this nearly indestructable steel crate.all the seats had to be removed from the plane before we could fit it in... and it's heavy even without the bears. but after some finagling... we finally did it.within minutes we're airborne... turning south and heading to san diego county.smell them? whew, ooh. we eventually level off at 11,500 feet... cruising down the spine of the sierra.. the bears apparently resting in their cage.they were found last summer after their mother was killed after being hit by a car in mariposa county.the animals were already in dire condition... weighing less than ten pounds each.2549 it's possible they were so small

because their mother was small. there were multiple cubs. they were kind of on the edge of e fire area. she might have had a hard time getting food, cuz usually this time of year those cubs should have been 30, 40 pounds. 2604 after being picked up by fish and wildlife and taken in by the tahoe rescue team... they got a check up.the ticks and burrs that covered their bodies were removed and they were given much needed nutrition.these rescue bears are named for where they were found.2732 we kind of called mary and posa. cuz there were two of them we thought we'd split the difference. 2742soon we were passing hetch hetchy reservoir near yosemite.... and off in the distance we could see el capitan and half dome.a strong head wind slowed our progress... and the cubs started to make noises carole and i never heard before... angry, baby bear cries.17 it's ok. it's alright. while the

cubs fidgeted we pressed on. finally... four hours after we took off... ramona airport came into view... and we turned into the pattern and touched down on a hot and sunny afternoon.we met up with matt anderson and his crew from the fund for animals wildlife center.again... the seats had to be removed to get the cubs' crate out of the plane.45 those are heavy bears! a short drive from the airport and we were at the rehab facility... where we finally got our first good look at the cubs as they entered their new... albeit temporary home. as the cubs adjust to their new surroundings... the folks back at lake tahoe adjust to life without them.2926 little cubs are very endearing and they did, they missed them but we knew it was the best thing for them and that's what we always try to do: is what's best for the animals. 2937the good news is... they're doing great.the bears who weghed

( marty ) a sacramento school district is investigating who placed a black doll, and left it hanging in the girls locker room at del campo high school. the girls who found the doll say they reported it to a vice-principal. but they say it was left hanging in the locker room for at least two weeks. the school district is trying to find out school officials didnt act more quickly. they say the inciden't doesn't reflect the character of the school, which discourages bullying or intimidation in any form. ( marty )sacramento police say they have concluded the investigation into the deadly shooting of stephon clark. officials released a timeline of events from the shooting in march through the final interviews 10 days ago. they also looked at video from body cams, in car cameras and the sheriff's department helicopter. the officers that fired the shots are still on duty --- but are not on patrol. police say they have also changed their foot pursuit and body camera policies. it is now up to the district attorney if charges will be filed against the two officers who killed clark. ( marty )breaking news... the man responsible for sending over a dozen mailed pipe bombs to critics of president trump... is being held in a florida federal jail this morning. police arrested cesar sayoc at an auto parts store in plantation, florida friday morning... after a 4-day manhunt. the f-b-i says sayoc sent bombs mostly to democratic officials who often spoke out against the president. police say he had been living out of his van... after his parents recently kicked him out. that van was covered with political decals... some showing images of democrats with targets on their heads. sources say investigators used his cell phone to track him down... after his

now... he has a bigger, fiestier passenger. after a four hour flight from lake tahoe to san diego county and dropping off two bear cubs... our day wasn't even half way done. now we had to pick up another... larger cub... to take back to tahoe. this 77 pound bear was found near ojai in ventura county. matt anderson/fund for animals wildlife center539 he was definitely underweight for his age. we thought he was about 8 to 9 months old. he came to us about 22 pounds. 545 cg: courtesy: humane society of the u.s. at his age he should be with his mother... but she was nowhere to be found... and this little guy's fur and skin were in bad shape. 703 if he hadn't been rescued and sent to us the prognosis wouldn't have been good. 707 after spending several weeks regaining his health and his weight... this

alameda county coroner's office and launched an investigation. sgt. michael cardoza is with the opd's homicide unit.sotwe came out here to west oakland. interviewed the residents of the home. we are working from there. seeing if we can gather more facts.according to opd, the skull was found in the backyard. the resident's of the house were surprised.soti think ultimately people were shocked that there was a skull in their yard.at this point, the age, race and sex of the skull remains a mysterys. it's also unclear how the person may have died. opd says the coroner's office may be able to answer to some of those questions in a few days. opd also says that while they don't know the identifiy of the skull, they are looking into whether or not this case could be related to another unsolved mystery.sotwe did have a suspicous death recently. with in the last two to three weeks. we are looking into this to see if it's connected.while investigators aren't elaborating, cardoza did imply that the body in the previous case may have been
