( robin )several streets in east oakland were shut down because of a shooting that involved police last night.it all started with a police chase in vallejo, and ended in oakland.. reaching speeds of 120- miles per hour. ( robin )the suspect in the hospital after a shootout with police...it happened near international boulevard and 22nd avenue.the decision to continue the high speed chase was one the valejo police captain says officers felt was necessary.kron 4's alecia reid has more. pkga vehicle riddled with bullets .... and more than a dozen evidence markers line the street. a high speed chase of up to 120 miles per hour ... ended in a crash, shooting, and with the suspect in the hospital.heavily armed with rifles, assault weapons,

a handgunas if ready to go to war, police say he also geared up with body armor. a man familiar with the suspect called police thursday saying the alleged shooter was parked in front of his glen cove home .... with a cache of weapons. by the time authorities showed up and tried taking him into custody, he took off. it's a judgemnt call the officers have to make in the pursuit. of course pursuits are dangerous, but so is a person with assault weapons and pistols and putting more people in dangerin the 30 miles from vallejo to oakland .... police say the suspect opened fire within the city limits of oakland. it isn't clear at what point officers started firing back, but the suspect eventually crashed at the international and 22nd avenue intersection.highly irregular for an officer to fire inside a moving vehicle so i highly doubt that ( robin )also in the east bay: intense video released of a deadly police confrontation. it shows police firing

( robin )san jose police are looking for the person who opened fire on three teenagers on halloween night.the shooting happened at around 10-30 wednesday night in front of the seven trees community center on cas drive. investigators say the gunman approached the teens, argued with the group, then shot them. ( robin )larry arnold lives across the street from the community center and says he heard five gunshots.he also says that he'd like to see more patrol cars making passes through the area.police have

not released a description of the suspect.the victims all have non-life threatening injuries. ( robin) we have obtained surveillance video from a deadly shooting at a chevron gas station. and we now know the husband is responsible for shooting his wife. investigators believe shannon romo and her husband, miguel romo got into a confrontation at a gas station along antelope road in sacramento, which was captured on surveillance. in the video, shannon is seen running away from a man, who is chasing after her. she eventually runs to the front door of the gas station before she is shot. investigators say romo pulled the trigger and left the scene. their daughter ariana says an argument began back at their home that night, over another woman. and they would regularly get into fights, argue and put their hand on each other. but she didn't think her father was capable of pulling a gun on her mother. romo is currently in a los angeles area jail where he is being held without bail.

( robin ) burbank police caught miguel romo after a crash. ariana says even with everything going on she still has love for her dad. ( robin)an 18- year old woman was hospitalized after four other women allegedly attacked her with a plastic spork at a restaurant in downtown san francisco thursday.it all happened around 4 in the morning, at a 24-hour eatery on mission street. according to police, when the victim began fighting with the suspects, the four women held her down and began cutting her face with a spork.the victim suffered minor cuts to her face.officers are still looking for the suspects, all

described as women between 18- and 20- years old. ( robin )video taken after thursday's the 'battle of the bay' football game between the raiders and 49-ers at levi stadium shows several fans fighting in the stands.it is a little difficult to see... as the video was taken from a higher deck, but it looks like a raiders and a 49-er fan are fighting. police say, one male suspect was the main aggresser and was arrested. they also say, overall - there was not a lot of fighting ... however - a few other people were arrested for public intoxication. ( robin )some news from on the field at the battle of the bay as well. another member of the 49ers organization took a knee during the national anthem... this time it was a cheerleader... whose name is unknown.while some players

throughout the league joined former niners quarterback colin kaepernick in his protests, this is the first known protest by a cheerleader. kaepernick took a knee starting in 2016... to highlight racial inequality and police brutality in america.the former 49-er is unemployed, still looking for a job in the nfl. ( robin )businesses in the north bay will not be compensated by p-g-and-e for any losses suffered because of that big power shutdown at the beginning of october. as you probably remember, the utility shutdown power to thousands of customers for several days in response to wildfire threats at the time. p-g-and-e will not be paying back any small businesses or residents in calistoga for shutting down that power, because the company says they gave warnings. the power shutdown was the first of its kind. p-g-and-e performed the public safety power shut- off on sunday october 14th. among those affected... the executive chef at 'all seasons bistro', who says it was a

( robin )during the raging wildfires - mandatory evacuations were in effect for calistoga, which hurt tourism. in its' report, p-g-and-e says, it is evaluating the power shutoff program and adds, it was done as a last resort for public safety. 29th along california ave and rumrill blvd...lt. brian bubar says after speaking with the victim--investigators learned he was dealing marijuana to 3 others..they shot him and stole the drugs..police then used their surveillance cameras equipped with license plate detection throughout the city.they back-tracked the trio's steps leading up to the crime...sot: they're using technology and we're seeing that through social media applications to avoid law enforcement detection right, so we want to make sure that we are using the technology to combat this criminal activity as well. police were able to use the victims' snapchat and facebook to identify and arrest the 3 suspects... 30-year-old raymond keeton 19-year-old shavoni keetonand 19-year old jada murry are now facing attempted murder charges.police say the weapon used was made to shoot high powered ammo that closely resembles what you would find in an assault rifle. the weapon is still missing... anyone with information is asked to come forward..standup: the victim is right now not facing charges..the district attorneys office is expected to officially charge the 3 suspects on friday.in san pablo dan thorn kron4 news.

( robin ) a somber a somber anniversary for a bay area family.ursday marked one year since an accident on skyline boulevard claimed the lives of three young men.their vehicle lost contro..hit a tree..and plunged down an embankment...killing the driver...19 year old ricky torres...and his two friends 19 year old andrew gonzales and 18 year old matthew cruz. torres' father visited the site...to clear a path for torres' mother and younger son to visit later in the day. < rudy torres, victim's father: "we all miss him. it's

a heartache to not have him here for the holidays, everday. it's just hard really hard.">( robin )a memorial now sits where the car went off the road ... but in front of it is a now a guard rail, which has been installed since the crash. ( robin ) cesar sayoc --- the man accused of sending pipe bombs to prominent democrats and c-n-n is shceduled to make another court appearance today. prosecutors want the judge to deny seyoc bail and send him to new york where he can quote: "face the consequences of his actions." the 56-year- old florida man is charged with five federal crimes for sending more than a dozen bomb- like devices through the u-s mail. none of the bombs exploded and no one was injured. if convicted, sayoc could get up to 48-years in prison. ( robin ) a mystery on the hudson river. that's where the bodies of two sisters were discovered last week... hundreds of miles away from

( robin )some parents in oakdale, california got a halloween surprise, scarier than any ghosts or goblins. police say a family found metal pieces inside of their kids trick or treating candy! police have ruled out a manufacturing error saying they are confident someone must have put the metal objects inside the candy on purpose.now parents just hope police find the person responsible ( robin ) and in portland --- police say a couple unknowingly ate some candy laced with methamphetamine. local sheriff's deputies say the candy was part of the couple's kid's halloween candy. the couple admitted that the wrapper for candy they ate was not completely sealed. authorities say they've gotten similair reports from people in the area --- and believe whoever is doing this is limited to washington county, oregon. no arrests have been made. medical device has the potential for cyber threats to occur suzanne schwartz is an fda cybersecurity expert. she says implantable devices that send information to doctors, patients and healthcare providers could be at risk. pacemakers, difibulators, insulin pumps>there are also concerns hackers could target machines like mris, cat scans and ventilators. we are building information sharing platforms. that's really the key here, is that cybersecurity is a shared responsibilitythe fda has also enlisted so-called "white hat" hackers to help identify cyber weaknesses.

charges for defrauding people out of hundreds of dollars by claiming to be collecting money for a 6-year-old cancer patient. roger and nicole dunn, along with earl woodridge told people they were collecting money for kaylee marshfield. they downloaded her picture from a news website and told people they represented a group called "kicking it with kaylee." that áisá a real campaign to raise money for kaylee's fight against cancer, but the three suspects had nothing to do with it. kaylee's father says using her to steal money from people is despicable.

( darya ) in the east bay... several streets in east oakland were shutdown overnight because of a shooting that involved police. it started with a police chase in vallejo that ended with a crash in oakland. police the driver opened fire within the city limits of oakland and some point after that officers fired back. officials say the driver had on body armor along with various weapons in the car.

the driver is in the hospital right now. his condition is ( james ) oakland police have released body cam video of a deadly police confrontation back in march. officers responded to reports of a man lying unconscious on the ground between two houses on the 4-hundred block of 40th street. the officers repeatedly call out to the man on the ground. he eventually sits up and then for reasons that are not clear on the video police open fire. the man died at the scene.. he was later identifed as joshua pawlik. attorney john burris is representing the pawlik family. he says he believes pawlik may not have known what was going on and did not pose a threat.

( darya ) in the south bay... san jose police are looking for the person who opened fire on three teenagers on halloween night. the shooting happened around 10-30 wednesday night in front of the seven trees community center on cas drive. police say the gunman approached the teens... argued with the group and then shot them. ( darya ) larry arnold lives across the street from the center and says he heard five gunshots. he also says that he'd like to see more patrol cars making passes through the area. police have not released a description of the suspect. the victims all have non-life threatening injuries. ( james ) happening today... cesar sayoc --- the man accused of sending pipe bombs to prominent democrats and c-n-n is shceduled to make another court appearance. prosecutors want the judge to deny sayoc bail and send him to new york where he can quote: "face the consequences of his actions." the 56-year- old florida man is charged with five federal crimes for sending more than a dozen bomb- like devices through the u-s mail. none of the bombs exploded and no one was injured. if convicted, sayoc could get up to 48-years in prison. ( james ) thousands of google employees across the country and around the world walked off the job yesterday to protest the company's handling of sexual harrassment. harrassment. one of the largest walkouts was at the company's headquarters in mountain view. the walkout grew in anger over the millions of dollars paid out to a former executive asked to resign over

lumumba richard of san lorenzo died tuesday night. a tour bus collided with the rear of a 1997 lexus driven by rodriguez. the bus then crashed into a ford driven by richard. rodriguez and richard were pronounced dead at the scene. the cause is still under investigation. ( darya ) an 18- year old woman was hospitalized... after four other women allegedly attacked her with a plastic spork ... at a restaurant in downtown san francisco. it all happened around 4-yesterday morning at a 24-hour eatery on mission street. according to police when the victim began fighting with the attackers the four women held her down and began cutting her face with a spork. the victim suffered minor cuts to her face. officers are still looking for the attackers... all described as women between 18-and 20-years old.

( james ) we have obtained surveillance video from a deadly shooting at a chevron gas station. and we now know the husband is responsible for shooting his wife. investigators believe shannon romo and her husband, miguel romo got into a fight at a gas station along antelope road in sacramento. in the video, shannon is seen running away from a man. she eventually runs to the front door of the gas station before she is shot. investigators say romo pulled the trigger and left the scene. their daughter ariana says an argument began back at their home that night, over another woman. she says they would regularly get into fights and put their hands on each other. but she didn't think her father was capable of pulling a gun on her mother.

police are asking for help identifying a man who they say was annoying young girls. it happened monday morning along key route boulevard and solano avenue. police say the man drove up in a white truck and asked the girls to get in. the girls said no... but they say they saw the man again... and he tried to talk to them again. officers say they ran away and called their parents. the suspect is described as a man in his late 20's or early 30's man with a light complexion, an unshaven face and short, brown hair.
