""very clever. this was done so that housekeeping wouldn't notice anything different when they are cleaning," the technician says. the device had an antenna, which chris believes was for transmitting video. at inside edition's request, surveillance expert joe van demark of the queens spy shop in new york examined the footage shot by the whites.

"that transmitter is used to transmit video to a receiver like a baby monitor," he said, while holding a baby monitor and observing the whites' footage. in a statement to inside edition, carnival acknowledged that a "video transmitter" was found but the company said that it wasn't plugged in and wasn't recording. but the whites say the camera was functional. "and she looked at it and she became concerned. and we were just really flabbergasted that there's a camera in the room and it's plugged up and it's working." the couple, who said they immediately called security, claim the camera was camouflaged in a mess of wires behind their tv."once they pulled it out of the wires, you could clearly see it was a camera," dana said. "when i found it, it was wired up and warm to the touch," chris said."i believe it was placed there honestly by a crew member," dana added.the whites have been left wondering whether whoever planted the camera pointed at their bed may have captured their most intimate moments.
