(take vo) around 1:30 this morning, sheriff's deputies went to the helen vine detox center in san rafaerl. intial reports were that staff memmbers had been shot... when they arrived one person was discovered dead... two others with gun shot wounds.. there was no sign of the gunman.... now we are learning that one of the victims had been dating the suspect... sheriff's deputies are not revealing whether this was a domestic violence case as a possible motive...but they will tell us that they discovered the suspect late monday afternoon at the sonoma county jail. the suspect, has been identified as davance

and 11 year-old priscilla penaloza are reported safe. all three were found at a home in colorado springs after deputies received a tip of their whereabouts. moreira allegedly abducted her two children in san jose last fridayevening at emma prusch park during a supervised visit with her kids, who were in the hands of child protective services. police said that moreira made off with the 1 year old while a social worker had taken the 11 year old to the bathroom. as the social worker was serching for theone year old, the 11 year old also disappeared. an amber alert was issued and detectives had information that the trio was heading for colorado where they have relatives. learning two death row inmates at san quentin have been found dead.. both were convicted of murdering several people in southern california. andrew urdiales was found unresponsive in his cell friday. the 54-year-old was sentenced in october for five murders in california during the 1980s. then yesterday, 51-year-old vir- endra govin was found unresponsive in his cell. he was sentenced in 2004 for committing four murders then setting the victims' home on fire. both inmate deaths are being investigated as suicides. allegedly drove off leading officers on a short chase. the sheriff's office says he ignored officers commands to stop and then drove towards deputy allan hall. hall says he then feared for his life and fired several shots. the deputy has been placed on paid leave during the investigation. (vicki) on the peninsula... east palo alto police are looking for 3 men who kidnapped and sexually assualted a 17-year-old girl. it happened early friday morning in the 19-hundred block of cooley avenue. police say around 1-30 in the morning... the girl was standing outside her home when 3 men forced her inside a van. police say she was then taken to an unknown location where she was sexually assualted. moments later they say the teenager was thrown out of the van. police are asking anyone with information to call them. (vicki) palo alto police want you to be on the lookout for thieves posing as officers. the department says a man received a phone call from someone claiming to be from the immigration office, and then another call from someone pretending to be a police officer name "jim hopper".

(vicki) home improvement company, lowe's, is planning on closing 51 north american stores... two of them here in the bay area.(grant) kron4's ryan o'donnell joins us with more on why and which stores. according to the company... to the according to the company... these stores are under- performing.. inlcuding the two here in the bay area. here they are... one is at 720 dubuque ave in south san francisco and the other one is at 750 newhall drive in san jose. lowe's says they expect to close these stores by february 1st of next year. the company's c-e-o is hoping higher end tools and targeting professional home builders with additional discounts will help turn the company around and compete more with rival home improvement company, home depot. 31 stores in canada are also closing in 2019 as well. the company says they'll try to relocate

(vicki) for your money tonight... fed-ex rates are going up again. the memphis-based company announced it will raise rates in january. prices will increase by an average of four-point-nine percent. it matches the increase fed-ex put in place at the start of this year. more online shopping has added to the number of packages shipped. but that's not the only factor -- higher fuel prices and a shortage in truck drivers also impacted costs.
