we are learning more tonight about monday's deadly shooting at san rafael detox facility this comes... as formal murder charges are filed against the suspect. kron 4's dan kerman reports. murder charges have been filed against this man devance reed in connection with monday's triple shooting at a san rafael detox center.reed has been charged with the murder of 52 year old nathan hill. he is also charged with the attempted murder of his girlfriend 30 year old brittany mccann, who is the mother of his child and 32 year old anthony masapit, an employee at the facility. both suffered life threatening injuries and remain in the icu at at marin general . family members say mccann had brought the suspect to the helen vine detox center to get help, but the two ended up in an argument and reed left only to come back and start shooting.

in the boeing plane crash off the coast of indonesia last week that killed 189 people. boeing issued a statement today saying that according to indonesia's national transportation safety committee the plane had "erroneous input from one of its angle of attack sensors."

the company also issued a safety bulletin to pilots on how to handle erroneous data from those sensors. the angle of attack sensor keeps track of the angle of the plane's nose relative to air flow to prevent the plane from stalling and losing lift. indonesian investigators say an airspeed indicator had malfunctioned on the plane's last four flights. (pam) motel six will pay millions to settle a class action lawsuit ... which claimed it gave latino guests' information ... to immigration and customs enforcement. the lawsuit said, several guests at two phoenix, arizona locations ... were arrested, after the motel chain shared their personal information with federal immigration agents. the claim was filed by a latino civil rights group -- the mexican american legal defense and educational fund. motel six agreed to pay as much as 7-point-6 million dollars to people who were interrogated, placed in immigration- removal proceedings, and whose personal information was given

park isn't just full of beauty and visitors-- it's also a place full of also a place full of mysteries. millions pass through its gates every year. (pam) on your next visit to the park, or any national park, there is a "list" which rangers want you to be aware of. it is a list of people who entered the park -- but never left. (ken) reporter joe moeller spoke to a fresno woman, who is still wondering what happened to her son. one of the search and rescue people said i want you to go to where david last went...my experience then became walking his path.we came every year

for twenty years now. david went memorial day morning, he left and he was just going to go up and come back he was just that kind of guy. the last time susan quinn saw her son was in 1998. i brought a picture of david taken not very long before he went missing. david morrison was from fresno and a graduate of hoover high, he was a chef in san francisco 20 years ago.... it was memorial day weekend when david and a group of friends came to yosemite to enjoy the outdoors and get away from the city like many others do.... that monday david decided he needed to meet the challenge of hiking up there before he went home. he left his group and hiked up to yosemite's iconic half dome...alone. that was the last time anyone ever heard from him...i came up early the next morning. quinn and her

family spent the week in the park with search and rescue...but nothing came up. at the end of the week on friday they ended the search. she along with others came back several times to search on their own, but nothing was found..not his clothes, his expensive sun glasses his fanny pack or his credit cards...nothing. nothing has ever been found that located where he died or what happened to him. visitors from all over the world come to yosemite for the nature and beauty, but not everyone's trip ends like they expected. this story...david's story...has gone cold...and his case is not the only one... when someone goes missing or there is some sort of crime that happens and it is not solved it goes into what we call the cold case file. scott gediman from yosemite says all of these cases are still active...and they are not going anywhere until they investigators from the park find out what happened. the oldest one on the list dates back to 1969...there are over two dozen cold cases on the list from people who have gone missing...to unsolved homicides..yosemite national park and grand canyon are the most popular parks.in yosemite there are 10 cases. these

cases are still active, we are not activly doing stuff everyday, but they are active and there are things that we want to remind our rangers and park visitors that these things are still out there. he says its good for visitors to know this lists exists. with a cold case list when you are out in the back country keep your eye out for these things because what happens is, i see cases where 10 years later something might be found, it could be a piece of clothing, it could be a shoe it could be something that could bring some sort of resolution. for every person on the list their is a family still looking for answers...01:27:22(over video) i think we think he fell....yeah. quinn travels to yosemite and hike to his small memorial she placed near half dome...she hopes one day....just maybe something will turn up. david died in a place he would have wanted to be...where he loved.
