recovered which brings our current total to 29. those remains recovered today were located in paradise.">( robin ) three incredibly destructive wildfires continue to burn across california --- and the death toll keeps going up -- with new information sunday night about ámoreá bodies recovered from the camp fire. ( robin ) the camp fire is already being called the most destructive fire in state history and the third- deadliest-- six more bodies have been covered sunday. and more than 200 people are still missing. kron4's dan thorn has the latest. sot: more work to be done.. work to be sot: more sot: more work to be done..emergency responders giving their latest update as the camp fire rages on..29 people are now dead with 6 bodies being found in paradise on sunday..sot: those remains recovered today were

located in paradise 5 of them were in homes one was in a vehicle..areas that saw fire sunday included yankee hill...firefighters say some of the flames reached up to 150 feet in the air. crews could also be seen still putting out hot spots throughout parts of paradise. burned vehicles continue to line the roads in and around the town.security fences were put up at feather river hospital on peach lane. workers say they're a deterrent to keep looters from stealing medical supplies and medication from hospital's the pharmacy.the sheriff says there have been more than 60 calls for suspicious incidents including looting but there have been no arrests for looting.. ( robin )as for evacuations...e mergency officials say there are no more orders at this time..however, people need to remain vigilant. meanwhile the butte county superintendent of schools has announced the closure of all public schools

in bute county through friday -- november, 23rd.butte county school officials say they will continue supporting students... family and staff affected.and are working closely with the california department of education... district superintennts and charter school leaders throught the duration of this emergency. ( robin ) firefighters have been battling the camp fire on the ground and in the sky. air tankers are being used to fight the flames from above. kron 4's alecia reid visited cal-fire's sonoma county air attack base, where they are standing by, and at the same time, keeping an eye on the butte county fire. 22 151 dash 12875 it's been non stop for cal- fire since the deadly camp fire started days ago. the sonoma cal-fire airbase is keeping track of overhead help needed in butte county. 5 helicopters, 1,2,3,4, 4 airtanker and a lead plane are on it right now. each plane carries a thousand

gallons of fire retardant. checking my radio making sure everything is accuratefor this crew ... the last day and a ... the last day and a half it's been so bad we haven't been able to flysky conditions have been hazardous. cal fire has been keeping them clear for any new fires that may erupt. the number of aircrafts we use at a fire is based on the complexity of the incident skies cleared a bit on sunday ... and they were able to respond to a number of outbursts.the big turnout for pilots have been the woolsey fire in malibu and the butte county campfire . pilots are limited to 7 hours of flight time per day, and can never combat fires overhead at night. for small fires, usually 2 or 3 airtankers and one helicopter suffices however on large incidences such as the fire in paradise, they have 21 helicopters assigned to the incident. not all are assigned they stagger them throughout the day along with the fixed wing airtankersair tactical group supervisor captain nick welch tells me ... regardless of how large the fire, or busy the season ... planes are maintained on a daily basis. everyday we show up and the

pilot will do preflight on the aircraft whether they flew the day befoer or not. it's just kin of the standardreporting from sonoma county .. alecia reid ... kron 4 news. ( robin ) governor jerry brown says now is a time for californians to pull together as they face catastrophic fires at both ends of the state. governor brown stressed at a press conference sunday that wildfires have become more ferocious because of severe drought and climate change. the governor was asked about a tweet by president donald trump blaming poor forest management.

and we have to take care of the whole range of threats and conditions and actions that are part of our living with fire - living with fire threats.">( robin ) governor brown also said the state is asking for federal assistance in fighting all three fires burning across the ( robin )to our south, the "woolsey" fire continues burning as well.so far it was spread to 85-thousand acres and is at 15 percent containment.together with the smaller "hill fire" --- which spans about 45-hundred acres --- 179 structures have been destroyed but according to officials another 57-thousand are still in danger.as of

sunday night --- the hill fire was at 75 percent containment. this weekend the woolsey fire also turned deadly, after two bodies were found in malibu.

a missing persons call center established. detectives are working to reunite people with their loved ones. also, if you have álocated a person you previously reported missing .. the sheriff's office wants that updated information as well. the numbers for the missing person call center are on your screen. ( robin ) in the southbay --- it took around 60 firefighters about 90 minutes to put out a two-alarm brush fire just off cha-boya road in san jose sunday. according to officials --- the fire was first reported around 2 p-m sunday afterternoon between cha-boya and quimby roads. thankfully there were no injuries or structures damaged. the cause of the fire is still under

( robin ) on the peninsula -- palo alto police arrested a man in connection to 2 suspicious fires that burned with in a hour of each other. os-valdo (mad-re- gal)madrigal is in police custody. police reports detail how one of the fires spread to building that used to be the compadres restaurant

on el camino real. an officer noticed smoke coming from the vacant restaurant. and when firefighters arrived, they found flames coming through the roof. they also rescued (mad-re- gal)madrigal from the burning building. he was treated for smoke-related injuries and then later booked into the santa clara county main jail. ( robin ) one of the tweleve shooting victims at borderline bar and grill in thousand oaks on wednesday was an 18 year old napa native alaina housley. she was attending pepperdine unversity as a freshman and was killed while enjoying a night out with friends. kron 4's ella sogomonian is in napa tonight where housley was honored with a police procession for her return. sot: ella sogomonian// "family and friends say alaina housley was an incredible woman with so much life ahead of her...that life full of promise was tragically cut short in a shooting rampage in southern california...on sunday afternoon police led a procession down this napa intersection for her grim homecoming."a red sun glared

( robin ) and we are learning more information about the gunman too. a second high school track coach recalled him as volatile and intimidating. evie cluke coached ian david long on newbury park high school's track team in 2007 and 2008.

in an interview sunday she said long would lose his temper, throw tantrums and scream, and that she witnessed him assault a fellow coach. another time, he used his hand to mimic shooting her. both coaches say they reported the behavior to school officials, who did nothing. school officials could not be reached for comment. neighbors, friends, their children and pets and drove off in his two seater 19-91 honda civic he calls "betty white"

paradise is paradise lost complete devastation from the camp fire.it has burned more than one-hundred-thousand acres home after homereduced to rubble.jacob is one of the thousands of residents who lost their home.but feels lucky to make it out alive. ( robin ) a total of 52-thousand people have been evacuated from the camp fire. evacuation centers are housing some of those people across the region. but those evacuees are still waiting to find out the fate of their homes and others are looking for missing family members. kron 4's sara stinson has the story of several evacuees during this tragic time.

for loved ones for days. i've also met some who are still looking for missing family members."> diane papedo flew in from colorado after days of not being able to find her brother. you could see the relief in her eyes when she the two were reunited at this evacuation center.another couple - chip and flores were just reunited after losing eachother in the evacuation. holding on tight to one another - they just found out their homes didn't survive the camp fire. while sol bechtold is still looking for his mother who has been

missing since thursday.

( robin )sunday was veterans day... and in stockton a family of a fallen soldier recieved a gift that they say they'll be forever grateful for... kristi gross has the story. a special delivery, unveiled--- for a álocal, gold star family being honored today... as the áworld pauses to mark the 100-year anniversary of the armistice that ended world war one--- and the ácountry celebrates the men and woman serving our nation this veterans, day---the stockton family received the portrait of staff sergeant john w. perry. a labor of love like this portrait cant be anything but love for service and sacrificeááástuart perry--- a marine veteran--- accepted the painting on behalf of his son john and the others killed in the suicide bomb attack in afghanistan two years ago, today. our son john was attacked and killed while

guy fieri made a surprise visit to serve dinner to everyone at the law enforcement staging area at butte college as they continue to battle the camp fire. the butte county sheriff's department tweeted out photos of the dinnter. deputies followed the pictures with a message saying: "thank you so much guy for filling our bellies and lifting our spirits."fieri also visited some evacuation centers and made food for people that had to leave their homes behind. ( james ) a big story this morning we are continuing to follow the deadly wildfires burning in california right now. the camp fire in butte county is now the most destructive fire in state history with over 6-thousand homes now destroyed... and over 15-thousand homes are still threatened this morning. 29 people have been killed in the fire and more than 200 people are still missing. ( darya ) here in the bay area, the smoke from the camp fire in butte county is causing another day of unhealthy air conditions. ( james ) kron4's will tran is in lafayette this morning to show us the conditions outside.

wildfire smoke from the camp fire in butte county continues to blanket the bay area with unhealthy air today and the haze is expected to linger through tuesday, air quality officials said. the hazardous smoke has created unhealthy conditions for much of the region over the past two days, although there were pockets of moderate conditions this morning, said lisa fasano, spokeswoman for the bay area air quality district. residents are advised to reduce outdoor activities and to limit exposure to unhealthy air by closing windows and doors. those with heart or lung disease should stay inside and limit their physical activity, fasano said.

-- palo alto police arrested a man in connection to 2 suspicious fires that burned with in a hour of each other. police have arrested osvaldo madrigal in connection to those fires. police say one of the fires spread to a building that used to be the compadres restaurant on el camino real. an officer noticed smoke coming from the vacant restaurant. and when firefighters arrived, they found flames coming through the roof. they also rescued madrigal (mad-re-gal) from the burning building. he was treated for smoke-related injuries and then later booked into the santa clara county main jail. ( james ) the migrant caravan traveling to the u-s southern border is now spread out across different parts of mexico... but some of them are getting close to their final destination. the first group could even reach tijuana by this weekend. the jalisco attorney general's office says about 520 migrants arrived in guadalajara saturday. 390 of them departed yesterday morning on 10 buses in route to tijuana. jalisco authorities are expecting another 12-hundred migrants this week. ( darya ) fire crews at the sonoma county cal fire air base are preparing to battle the camp fire from the sky. the base is keeping track of the overhead help needed in butte county. each plane from sonoma each plane from sonoma carries a thousand gallons of fire retardant. cal fire says the number of aircrafts they use is based on the complexity of the incident. ( darya ) cal fire says they manintain the planes everyday so they are ready to go on a moments notice. ( darya ) it's not just first responders saving people

from the camp fire, neighbors are also helping each other. jacob jones is one of the heroic people in butte county helping neighbors, their children and pets get clear of the deady flames this weekend in his small honda civic, that he calls honda civic, that he calls "betty white." this is video jacab filmed from his car as they escaped the fire. and you can see the traffic as others tried to flee the town of paradise ( darya ) thankfully jacob and everyone else crammed into his tiny car got out safe. but jacob is one of the from paradise entire homes in the fire. ( james ) 52-thousand people have been evacuated from the camp fire. evacuation centers are housing some of those people in the region. evacuees are still waiting to find out the

fate of their homes and others are looking for missing family members. one woman flew in from colorado after days of not being able to find her brother.. but she luckily was reunited with him at the evacuation center. another couple reunited after losing each other during the evacuation. ( james ) the butte county fairgrounds in gridley is offering evacuees different resouces like insurance companies are on hand.. food clothing and showers. ( james ) we've learned that 228 people are missing in the camp fire. the sheriffs office now has a missing persons call center established. detectives are working to reunite people with their loved ones.

it was a nice day and then 8 hours later it wrecked everyones life and it keeps happening across california and it is just burning everyones homes upnats burgers hungry people stopped gridley burger for a hot meal.which has not been this slammed since the oroville dam spill. manager jayne barrow hears all the fire horror stories from customers.sot a lot of people have lost their homes their businesses their kids schools everythingthe local ave hardware store is selling out of supplies.camping gear is low.there are a few bags of pet food left.most batteries are out of stock.and here are the last two cases of water. it's been beyond busy here.sot unbelieveable if people want to come camp out in our parking lot we will fully let them do itwith nothing to go home to...people and their

pets have here come seeking shelter.. a town of 67-hundred pepole. and under the grey smokey sky, everyone here is impacted by the camp fire.sot i have been through earthquakes and hurricanes this was literally the scariest thingstandupevacuees tell me they feel welcome here. and store owners say it is good to see extra business, just not at expense of people losing their homes in the camp fire.in gridley justine waldman kron 4 news. ( darya ) in another big story ... 18-year-old alain housley was honored in a procession through her home of napa. she one of the twelve shooting victims at borderline bar and grill in thousand oaks on wednesday. people in the napa community gathered yesterday in support of alaina's family ... as police escorted her body to a local cemetary. housley was celebrating country music night with college friends from pepperdine university the

night of the shooting. at 18-years-old ... she was the youngest among the victims before shooter turned the gun on himself. ( darya ) those who know her say she will be remembered for her being genuine and bringing out the best in others. ( james ) we are learning more information about the gunman in the borderline mass shooting. a high school track coach recalled him as volatile and intimidating.

evie cluke coached ian david long on newbury park high school's track team in 2007 and 2008. in an interview she said long would lose his temper, throw tantrums and scream, and that she witnessed him assault a fellow coach. another time, he used his hand to mimic shooting her. the coach says she reported the behavior to school officials, who did nothing. school officials could not be reached for comment. ( darya ) the san francisco fire department is trying to determine what caused six fires that broke out in golden gate park within 24 hours. this is video of san francisco firefighters working to put out the fires friday. the fires have been isolated to various areas of the park and are considered "suspicious." the fire department says the fires were in the polo fields and casting ponds. some people at the park saturday say they were frustrated after hearing about the fires.

"it's very malicious and gosh, it's adding to what everyone's suffering from right now, the poor air quality."cory murrell, san francisco"i live in the sunset so it's going to take a lot for the fire to get really threatening but it's not fun to have it right next to me.">( darya ) the san francisco fire department says anyone with information is urged to contact them get to the investigation. ( darya )( darya ) the big story we continue to follow this morning... is the deadly wildfires burning in california right now. 29 people have died in the camp fire in butte county... more than 200 people are still missing. that fire is now the most destructive fire in state history with over 6- thousand homes now destroyed... and over 15- thousand homes are still threatened this morning. ( james ) take a look at this map that shows where the fire is burning. the fire burned through 111- thousand acres.fire officials

are doing all they can to look for victims in burned out neighborhoods. take a listen. ( james ) police in paradise are now on the look out for looters. security fences are up at feather river hospital on peach lane to deter looters from stealing medical supplies and medication from the hosptial. the sheriff says there have been more then 60 calls for suspicious incidents including looting but there have been no arrests. ( james ) the unhealthy air the unhealthy air from the camp fire in butte county continues to linger across the bay area...making it difficult to breathe for many people. ( darya ) the north bay has been dealing

with much of the unhealthy air. kron4's yoli aceves is in san rafael with how things look in the north bay. wildfire smoke from the camp fire in butte county continues to blanket the bay area with unhealthy air today and the haze is expected to linger through tuesday, air quality officials said. the hazardous smoke has created unhealthy conditions for much of the region over the past two days, although there were pockets of moderate conditions this morning, said lisa fasano, spokeswoman for the bay area air quality district. residents are advised to reduce outdoor activities and to limit exposure to unhealthy air by closing windows and doors. those with heart or lung disease should stay inside and limit their physical activity, fasano said.

( darya ) because of the camp fire, all butte county schools are closed until at least after thanksgiving. we caught up with one high school senior from paradise high. amy poolmoore and her family had to leave their home and seek shelter at an evacuation center. she says now she has to think about applying to colleges and whether or not her house is still standing and if her friends are still alive. ( darya ) she says paradise high

escaped the flames and she is actually looking forward to go back to school áif it opens up. ( james ) meantime ... questions remain on what sparked the fire, and some eyes are pointing toward p-g and e. but p-g and e says, not so fast. macy jenkins reports. audio:"we have eyes on the vegetation fire. it's going to be very difficult to access camp creek road. it's near inaccessible."six-43 on thursday morning, butte county firefighters called dispatch after seeing flames across the feather river from poe dam. audio:"it is on the west side of the river, underneath the transmission lines. probably about 35 miles per hour, sustained wind on it."c-b-s 13 obtained this report from p- g-and-e, describing an incident at six-15 a-m, 28 minutes before that call from firefighters.it says ... graphic:"pg&e experienced an
