overnight..49ers linebacker reuben foster is again facing domestic violence charges. and the 49ers have dropped him from the team. foster was arrested around 9 last night. prior to the team's game today in tampa. foster was arrested after police responded to the grand hyatt hotel where a victim reported foster "slapped her phone out of her hand, pushed her in the chest area, and slapped her with an open hand on the right side of her face." foster was charged with one count of first degree misdemeanor domestic violence and booked into the hillsborough county jail. foster was suspended two games going into this season after a gun charge. he also was accused in a domestic violence incident with his girlfriend before the season where she claimed to have been absued....she later recanted. ( marty ) and on the

highway, napa police are reminding drivers to slow down while returning home from the holiday weekend. they responded to six accidents friday. the department posted a picture on social media showing one of those accidents at redwood & browns valley road; luckily no one was hurt in any of the crashes. the american canyon police & c-h-p also handled collisions throughout the county. they say that if you are headed home slow down, allow extra time, and get there safely. ( marty ) a man is in jail this morning after concord police say he ran onto the roof of an apartment complex to avoid arrest. police say 42-year-old kevin villatoro was on the roof of the building on hillsborough court. officers were there to arrest two people at the location when villatoro ran to the roof. a chp helicopter helped police find and arrest the suspect. ( marty ) police in palo alto are looking for a man who exposed himself to a teenage girl. this is the sketch of the alleged suspect.

investigators say the 14-year- old girl was walking her dog on east meadow drive last week when the suspect pulled up to the curb in a light brown or gold four door sedan. she says he asked for directions and exposed himself. the vehicle was last seen traveling east bound on east meadow drive. ( marty ) now to the north bay. police say the area where a woman was killed in a crash is popular for speeders. the accident happened in sausalito along highway 101 southbound near spencer avenue. a c-h-p officer was also injured in that crash. kron4's dan thorn reports, police are hoping the crash serves as a reminder to slow down. a chp officer is lucky to be alive after this toyota came crashing into his patrol cruiser..officers were responding to a spun out suv along 101 southbound in sausalito. and then this car came storming in..sot: they were setting up to cone the lane off to keep people out and a poor unfortunate woman plowed into the back of the chp car. ed atherton was the

man driving the suv..he ran into axle problems saturday morning when police arrived. he says as officers were laying car quickly came towards the scene..one of the officers amazingly jumped out of the way..at first atherton feared the worst..sot: i started thinking bad things that he got run over you know. so he jumped into the back of his car i got over the side of the chp vehicle and opened up the back door and there he was underneath all their equipment bags. the officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. the 72-year-old woman driving the toyota did not survive the accident. sot: the roadway was wet at the time it was not raining it was actually sunny out but that's the north facing side of a hill..sargeant ross ingels says this spot along 101 is a problem area--rain or shine-- and accidents like this can be prevented..sot: the message is always slow down this is our maximum enforcement period we're always out in force, the roadways are wet we've been preaching it over and over again when the conditions are like this you've got to increase your following distance. you gotta slow down. ( marty ) san francisco radio host, ray taliaferro has been reported missing. the 79-year-old was last seen in paducah, kentucky on november 10th at a pizza restaurant. the sheriff's office near his southern illinois home says he may be experiencing disorientation and signs of dementia. the legendary talk-show host was on the air at kgo-radio from 1977-2011. he is best known for hosting overnight radio shows. taliaferro also lead the san francisco chapter of the naacp d was the city's first black member of the san francisco arts ( marty ) still ahead on

this morning. a listeria outbreak in several states is linked to vietnamese ready-to-eat pork products. the centers for disease control and prevention says long phung products in houston is recalling food items that were shipped nationwide. four people have been hospitalized after eating anchovy-marinated pork patty rolls. listeria is especially dangerous for anyone over the age of 65, pregnant or people with a weak immune system. typical symptoms include headache, fever, muscle pain,and convulsions. the c-d-c says to throw the products

away and sanitize any shelf or drawer where the pork was stored. ( marty ) a new study says by the year 20-30, some people who need insulin won't have access to the drug. insulin treats people with type one diabetes and some people with type two diabetes. the study says access to insulin will fall well short of demand. right now, three major manufacturers dominate the insulin market, and the treatment is expensive. if access to the drug remains the same, researchers predict only half of those who need it will be able to get it. researchers hope for initiatives to make insulin available and affordable. ( marty ) a nasa spacecraft is making its final descent towards mars. nasa's insight is expected to land on the surface of the red planet monday. insight is the first mission to study the deep interior of mars. it launched from vandenberg air force base on may 5th. insight will study mars in hopes of learning how planets with rocky surfaces - including earth - were formed.

back into high gear today as thousands of people return home following thanksgiving. kron 4's sanaz tahernia is joining us now live from the airport with what travelers can expect today. marty i'm here at s-f-o and if you thought that the wednesday before thanksgiving was bad, well things are about to get worse for travelers today because today is expected to be the worst travel day that airports across the country have seen ever.most people drove to their destinations this thanksgiving holiday, but according to t-s-a about 25 million people traveled this thanksgiving holiday, and today is projected to break

into the top 10 busiest days ever for air travel.nearly 3 million people are expected to be flying back home across the country today so in order to prepare for the masses, t-s-a is ramping up their staff by about 1,200.now s-f-o is one of the busiest airports in the country, and it's part of some of the busiest flight routes across the country, so travel in and out of sfo today will likely be worse than you've encountered thus far. now unlike the wednesday before thanksgiving, we're not expecting any rain here today, however travelers flying in and out of the midwest may encounter some issues with winter storm bruce, and unfortunately delays in and out of s-f-o sometimes have a domino effect so be sure to check your flight status before leaving the house today to see if there are any delays or cancellations. thanks thanks sanaz.

( marty ) some victims of the woolsey some victims of the woolsey fire in southern california are taking legal action. they are filing lawsuits against the utility they blame for sparking the fire that destroyed their homes. here's rachel kim with the story. wendell phillips/fire victim "the house was on fire, it was literally engulfed and our whole place burned in about seven minutes."wendell phillips lost his home and animal rescue near decker canyon in the woolsey fire.he is now suing southern california ison.his lawyers say the company is responsible for the devastation across so many communities.patrick mcnicholas/attorney"we want people to understand that they can and should be made whole even after this horrible event."patrick mcnicholas is one of the attorneys representing victims of the woolsey fire in a lawsuit against socal edison.they held a town hall meeting tonight to talk about victims rights, insurance coverage and steps

( marty ) some volunteers who went to butte county to help out are now returning home. kron four's philippe djegal met with a nurse in walnut creek who shared what she experienced in the fire zone. (philippe) in the past year... walnut creek native tammi bachecki (buh-check-ee) has traveled to puerto rico... volunteering her services as a nurse to victims of hurricane maria. last month, she was in florida helping those devestated by hurricane michael... and, for the past week, she's been stateside -- in butte county... supporting families in chico, who lost everything in the camp fire.tammi bechecki/nurse- "a lot of what we were seeing, you know, from the medical standpoint, were patients with asthma, that have, or copd, that were having exacerbations from the smoke due to the air. air quality in the bay area was

horrible, but in chico, it was so, so thick, um, you could barely see the sun." and, although bachecki makes her living as a registered nurse here in the intensive care unit at kaiser permanente's walnut creek medical center... she says what she was emersed in in butte county... will stick with her forever... and, that it was an emotionally draining experience.tammi bechecki/nurse- "a lot of tears, a lot of hugs, um, and then you know, a lot of smiling through the tears as well. a lot of the people in the shelter, knew they were in a dire situation were trying to make the best of it." tammi drove up to chico a week ago -- part of a team of 11 nurses and one nurse practitioner representing national nurses united's registered nurse response network. bechecki returned to the bay area thursday night. tammi bechecki/nurse- "and, actually a couple of the nurses, uh, have actually gone back up to continue to help. they had some time off work." she wishes these natural disasters were less frequent. tammi bechecki/nurse- "all of these hurricanes and fires and

( marty ) fema stepped in to help victims saturday morning during a town hall in roseville. officials registered fire victims for disaster assistance. several other organizations were there too. including cal fire and the sheriffs ( marty ) during the town hall, fema announced the opening of another disaster resource center in oroville. authorities in contra costa are trying to figure out what caused a boat to sink in the east bay. the fire department tweeted...saying they were thankful to be at the right place at the right time saturday. rescue boat 81 was training in the delta, near sherman island when they were flagged down by a boat taking on water. they were able to rescue three adults and four children. no one was ( marty ) a family is demanding answers just days after police in alabama shot and killed a man at a mall. some protestors took to the streets following the death of 21-year-old emantic bradford. authorities say bradford was likely áánotáá the suspect who opened fire inside a shopping mall thanksgiving day.

they initially said he shot an 18-year old man and a 12-year old girl at "riverchase galleria" mall. according to police, bradford was seen running from the scene while holding a gun. that's when an officer shot and killed him. now investigators are looking for the actual gunman who is still on the run.as the community demands justice. ( marty ) the officer involved in the shooting is on administrative leave, as investigators look into the incident. the family is now being represented by a civil rights attorney. ( marty ) overseas, european union leaders have endorsed the brexit withdrawal agreement. the european council president used twitter to announce the plan. it came after e-u leaders met behind closed doors in brussels. the agreement lays out how the u-k will

( marty ) ( marty ) saturday, friends, and family honored a chicago police officer who was shot and killed earlier this week at mercy hospital. white roses were placed in front of a photo of officer samuel jimenez. and a moment of silence by the group for this ultimate sacrifice. the vigil took place at the high school that officer jimenez once attended. he was one of three people killed in the shooting at mercy hospital on monday.

for your health this morning. a listeria outbreak in several states is linked to vietnamese ready-to-eat pork products. the centers for disease control and prevention says long phung products in houston is recalling food items that were shipped nationwide. four people have been hospitalized after eating anchovy-marinated pork patty rolls. listeria is especially dangerous for anyone over the age of 65, pregnant or people with a weak immune system. typical

( marty ) we're continuing to follow breaking news overnight.. a 2-thousand dollar bond has been set for former 49ers linebacker reuben foster. he is again facing domestic violence charges. and the 49ers have dropped him from the team. foster was in court this morning. he was arrested last night after police responded to the grand hyatt hotel where his girlfriend reported foster "slapped her phone out of her hand, pushed her in the chest area, and slapped her with an open hand on the right side of her face." according to court documents, this is the

same woman who was involved in a domestic violence incident with foster in the past. she later recanted in that incident. right now, foster is charged with one count of first degree misdemeanor domestic violence and he was booked into the hillsborough county jail. foster was ordered to not have any contact with the victim. you may remember, foster was suspended two games going into this season after a gun charge. we're following this story and will bring you new information on air and online at kron 4 dot com. djegal met with a nurse in walnut creek who shared what she experienced in (philippe) in the past year... walnut creek native tammi bachecki (buh-check-ee) has traveled to puerto rico... volunteering her services as a nurse to victims of hurricane maria. last month, she was in florida helping those devestated by hurricane michael... and, for the past week, she's been stateside -- in butte county... supporting families in chico, who lost everything in the camp fire.tammi bechecki/nurse- "a lot of what we were seeing, you know, from the medical standpoint, were patients with asthma, that have, or copd, that were having exacerbations from the smoke due to the air. air quality in the bay area was horrible, but in chico, it was so, so thick, um, you could barely see the sun." and, although bachecki makes her living as a registered nurse here in the intensive care unit at kaiser permanente's walnut creek medical center... she says what she was emersed in in butte county... will stick with her forever... and, that it

( marty ) a family is demanding answers just days after police in alabama shot and killed a man at a mall. some protestors took to the streets following the death of 21-year-old emantic bradford. authorities say bradford was likely áánotáá the suspect who opened fire inside a shopping mall thanksgiving day. they initially said he shot an 18-year old man and a 12-year old girl at "riverchase galleria" mall. according to police, bradford was seen running from the scene while holding a gun. that's when an officer shot and killed him. now investigators are looking for the actual gunman who is still on the run.as the community demands justice.

outbreak in several states is linked to vietnamese ready-to-eat pork products. the centers for disease control and prevention says long phung products in houston is recalling food items that were shipped nationwide. four people have been hospitalized after eating anchovy-marinated pork patty rolls. listeria is especially dangerous for anyone over e age of 65, pregnant or people with a weak immune system. typical symptoms include headache, fever, muscle pain,and convulsions. the c-d-c says to throw the products away and sanitize any shelf or drawer where the pork was stored. police responded to the grand hyatt hotel where his girlfriend reported foster "slapped her phone out of her hand, pushed her in the chest area, and slapped her with an open hand on the right side of her face." according to court documents, this is the same woman who was involved in a domestic violence incident with foster in the past. she later recanted in that incident. right now, foster is charged with one count of first degree misdemeanor domestic violence and he was booked into the hillsborough county jail. foster was ordered to not have any contact with the victim. you may remember, foster was suspended two games going into this season after a gun charge. we're following this story and will bring you new information on air and online at kron 4 dot com. (philippe) in the past year... walnut creek native tammi bachecki (buh-check-ee) has traveled to puerto rico... volunteering her services as a nurse to victims of hurricane maria. last month, she was in florida helping those devestated by hurricane michael... and, for the past week, she's been stateside -- in butte county... supporting families in chico, who lost everything in the camp fire.tammi bechecki/nurse- "a lot of what we were seeing, you know, from the medical standpoint, were patients with asthma, that have, or copd, that were having exacerbations from the smoke due to the air. air quality in the bay area was horrible, but in chico, it was so, so thick, um, you could
