last day to enroll in the affordable care act...you can still sign-up and get coverage although a federal judge in texas has ruled..it "invalid" u.s. district judge reed o'connor ruled last year's tax cut bill knocked the constitutional foundation from under "obamacare" by eliminating a penalty for not getting coverage. supporters of the law immediately said they would appeal. the white house applauded o'connor's ruling, but said the law remains in place while appeals proceed. o'connor is a conservative republican appointee who previously blocked other obama-era policies. the executive director of covered california says he expects the suprn the ruling.

( will ) police say a group of women is responsible for stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from marshalls. here's kron 4's haaziq madyun with how police were able to track them down.

suspects allegedly stealing inside of the store. police arrived, set up a perimeter and after establishing that thefts were taking place, the five women were taken into custody. the store's loss prevention officers tell police that the women are responsible for approximately 35-thousand-dollars in thefts from various marshalls stores over the past monthfremont police say the five women may also be connected to a similar theft at a marshalls department store in san leandro. the five suspects range in age from 33 to 43- years-old and are residents of san francisco, oakland and fresno. their identities are being withheld as the investigation into these thefts continues during the course of the arrests investigators say they found 292-items totalling 46-hundred- dollars in the suspect's vehicle...in fremont haaziq madyun kron4news> ( will ) police have identified the body pulled out of the san leandro marina a few weeks ago. 40-year-old jinseong ahn was found by a passer-by on november 25th.

police say the caller reported seeing the body floating in the marina around 3 in the afternoon. police say right now there is no initial sign of foul play. ( will ) a janitor at "farrallon view" elementary school is facing several charges. following months of investigation, the sheriff's office says there is enough evidence to charge 54-year-old joel cortez altamirano with several crimes. the sheriff's office believes lewd acts occurred during school hours and after school. the sheriff's office says it is concerend that there could be additional victims. < we do believe there may be more victims out there eiteer student of the school or the commnity so were encouraging anybody whos children may have had contact with him to call the detective bureau.">( will ) the school district said it is shocked and concerned by the allegations. altamirano is being held at the san mateo county jail on one million dollars bail. are hearing from students who were inside a school bus the moments before its driver crashed and died. 34 coachella valley high school students were on the bus when its crashed into a parked school bus. one other driver was inside. it all happened in the school drop off lot. 12th grade student -- james herrmann says shortly after -- another employee ran into the bus to help the unconscious driver -- who has now been identified as 42-year-old oralia guitierrez lopez. she was rushed to a hospital where she later died.

employees at paulsen motorsports normally spend their days working on classic cars at their shop in french camp--- we build custom wheels for cars. that's what we do here. but for the last two days, shop owner pete paulsen's employees have been working to restore used bikes to riding condition.paulsen came across the bikes being sold at garage sale.i said hey if you got any left over why don't we just take them, let me clean them up and we'll give them away... and he says great idea pete.- ppnats:he came away with 30 bikes--- from tricycles to schwinn's paulsen plans to give them all away to kids for christmas. i thought they were just sitting there going to waste it was crazy, just sitting there. i thought that's nuts they can be put to a good use! -ppand once word started to spread--- people in the community have started dropping off more bikes. many of them in serious need of some t-l-cnow workers like doug, are pushing the pedal to the metal-- to get more than two dozen bikes all cleaned up in time for i came i this morning to work on bicycles. i got 6 or 7 done. i'm hoping to get a lot more done today. -dougááááwe're going to make them look halfway decent and rideable and everything and i hope it will bring some joy to kids so they'll have something. -pp (may be trimmed down for time) and while workers haven't even
