camp fire have been fired following a post on facebook. photos were posted on the site showing several workers on burned-out property, mocking the destruction they were being paid to clean up. one photo shows the body of a cat killed in the fire, with a beer bottle placedy its mouth. the posts also include offensive captions. city leaders in paradise say police are looking trying to determine if any laws were broken like tresppassing. the company, "brigger, crane, and rigging," issued a statement saturday announcing the termination of the crew members. ( will ) there are no more evacuation orders in connection to the camp fire. the wildfire began back on november eighth and burned more than 153-thousand acres in butte county before being contained 17 days later. but it was not until saturday that evacuation orders were finally lifted for residents of the town of paradise and other unincorporated areas. the camp fire killed at least

among a group of 163 migrants detained by border patrol agents the night of december 6 in a remote area of the new mexico desert. two days later, she was dead after becoming violently ill. jakelin's father says agents did everything they possibly could to help the girl. paradise business owner is spending thousands of dollars to make sure employees left homeless by the camp fire now have a place to stay.the riebes auto parts store is one of the few businesses still left standing in paradise, but most of the workers there lost everything, including their homes.company owner, bart riebe, purchased five brand new travel trailers, and set up a makeshift camp outside one of his chico stores, allowing displaced employees to move in."he's really gone above and beyond what anybody would have ever expected," said riebes employee robert bruner.bruner and his wife rebecca both work for the company. their paradise home was destroyed in the camp fire and they're grateful to have a new trailer to stay in while they get their lives back on track."i mean, how many owners of businesses here would do that, or could do that?" he said.and the generosity continued. riebe turned one trailer into a laundry room, complete with new washers and dryers, and he even set up a christmas tree on site for the kids."we were just happy to still have our jobs. we were just happy that he's stil paying us, you know," said manager rick baker, who ran riebes paradise location before the camp fire.for families like the bruners, the cozy trailer they say is a godsend, in otherwise

a california school district says a group of students is facing even more punishment after a 13-year-old girl brough pot-laced brownies to school. as rachel wulff reports, some parents feel the school did not do enough. mom: "hiigh school i might expect something like this but not 12 am 13 year olds in middle school."this seventh grade mother couldn't believe it when her daughter told her a 13-year-old classmate at mckenney intermediate school brought pot brownies to school and handed them out.mom: "i made her repeat it a couple times"her daughter wasn't there where it happened wednesday but the school was buzzing about it once marysville police were called. ramiro carreon/school district representative: "according to reports we received she was given ingredients and the recipe to create the brownies." the school district says 8 students ate the brownies -a few admitted to knowing they had marijuana in them. those

( will ) a family looking to cross the u-s border is mourning the death of a 7- year-old guatemalan girl. jakelin maquin died less than 48 hours after u-s border patrol agents detained her. jakelin and her father were among a group of 163 migrants detained by border patrol agents the night of december 6 in a remote area of the new mexico desert. two days later, she was dead after becoming violently ill. jakelin's father says agents did everything they possibly could to help the girl.
