moment where we morn a loss of a great soul natalie corona."> ( marty )an emotional and unifying candlelight vigil in davis to honor of the slain officer natalie corona. there were many tears and even some laughs as family, friends and neighbors spoke and sang in honor of the 22-year-old. the investigation into the ambush shooting now continues as davs police released the identity of the suspected shooter. marc thompson reports on the letter the man left behind... on why he killed corona and took his own life. a day after her death, natalie corona is remembered as a shining light in her community. "she was a very humble, loving person," said rosa corona, natalie's aunt. "that's all she had to give was love.""she

just always saw the good in people," said merced corona, natalie's father. "she was a great daughter, a great friend."but perhaps her favorite title was police officer."she was just somebody that everybody in this building respected and truly i don't think i've ever worked with anybody quite like her," said darren paytel, davis police chief.the 22-year-old had just completed her field training in december after graduating from the sacramento police academy back in july 2018. she was gunned down in the line of duty on thursday while responding to a car crash in davis."her peers talked about how selfless she was, how she would do anything for anyone at any time," said corporal ralph knecht, sacramento police department. natalie, the oldest of four sisters, was always volunteering, playing volleyball and basketball and even won homecoming queen her senior year."natalie was just a person full of life," said robert corona, natalie's cousin. "she loved everybody, and everybody loved her."she remained laser-focused on becoming a police officer, following in the footsteps of her father, a former deputy with colusa county sheriff's department."you're just so proud of them, you know that that's what they were made for," merced said. ( marty )new this morning... police are looking for the gunman who shot and killed a man in antioch. it happened saturday afternoon on pepper tree way and sycamore drive. residents called police after hearing gunshots. officers found a man with several gunshot wounds lying in the street. the victim was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died. you could soon see three new i-phone models. the wall street journal reports that apple will unveil the phones this year. it will reportedly include new camera features, such as double and triple rear cameras. according to the journal - apple is thinking about sticking with the bright o-l- e-d-powered screens for its 20-20 iphone line. but, there's no word on the price of the new phones, but thjey could be released this fall. ( marty ) taco bell is ready to test a new vegetarian menu. the restaurant will unveil

gayle ong kron 4 news."> ( marty ) sonoma county officials are blaming a broken valve for the two million gallons of untreated wastewater that leaked into a swap in the community of schellville. the valve failed to fully close, causing the leakage that lasted about 24 hours. environmental officials didn't find any dead or distressed fish or wildlife. ( marty ) new this morning...police in san jose are investigating an overnight deadly shooting. police found the victim near parkmoor avenue and race street, just after one this morning. he was taken to a hospital where he later died. no arrests have been made in this investigation. this is the city second homicide of the year.

( marty ) the santa rosa diocese has released the names of more than 30 clergymen accused of sex crimes. the santa rosa bishop says the church disclosed the names to help victims heal. kron4's dan thorn has more...

appreciates the bishop releasing the names but is frustrated he did not release them sooner. bishop vasa has been with the diocese since 2011. sot: all those years that these names have been hidden and depending on where they are now they could still they could be unknown to the public and they could still be in a position where they can pray on childrenthe new release comes in the wake of a pennsylvania grand jury's sweeping report on sex abuse within the catholic church. earlier this month the diocese of monterey released a similar list. in october the diocese of san jose named 15 clergymen in their child sex abuse probe..of the names disclosed by santa rosa, most of them are retired or dead. > ( marty ) that was dan thorn reporting. the diocese of santa rosa plans to have a press conference at 10am tomorrow to answer any questions about releasing the names of the

( marty ) police in pacifica are investigating a crash that injured a pedestrian. it happened thursday night in the 500 block of crespi drive. police say they found a 62-year-old woman laying in the road in the westbound lanes. an off-duty nurse helped the woman until she was taken to the hospital. police say she was not in a crosswalk when she was hit by the car. the driver remained on the scene. no word on the pedistrian's condition this morning. ( marty ) a man in the north bay is now facing charges following a 6-hour long standoff at a safe way parking lot. this is video of the suspect surrendering. novato police say, it started at the 76 gas station convenience store on ignacio boulevard. police say 40 year old juan roman tried to start a fire at the gas station. investigators say he was angry that he couldn't get a fuel pump to work and that he was also upset about family issues. police say roman drove to a nearby safeway, and refused to get out of his car. a crisis

negotiator was able to calm him down. police arrested roman on suspicion of attempted arson and ( marty ) one person is dead and at least a dozen people were hospitalized after apparent drug overdoses at a home in chico. four people are in critical condition. police say they were called to the home saturday for what they called a "mass casualty" incident.

a modesto teacher is continuing to show how much she cares for her students in and out of the classroom. she has already donated a kidney to one student. and last week, she inspired other's to help change the lilfe of another student. kristi gross has the story (pkg)he is an amazing person. pacifica are investigating a crash that injured a pedestrian. it happened thursday night in the 500 block of crespi drive. police say they found a 62-year-old woman laying in the road in the westbound lanes. an off-duty nurse helped the woman until she was taken to the hospital. police say she was not in a crosswalk when she was hit by the car. the driver remained on the scene. no word on the pedistrian's condition this morning. ( marty ) a man in the north bay is now facing charges following a 6-hour long standoff at a safe way parking lot. this is video of the suspect surrendering. novato police say, it started at the 76 gas station convenience store on ignacio boulevard. police say 40 year old juan roman tried to start a fire at the gas station. investigators say he was angry that he couldn't get a fuel pump to work and that he was also upset about family issues. police say roman drove to a nearby safeway, and refused to get out of his car. a crisis negotiator was able to calm him down. police arrested
