( marty ) a big story we're following out of louisiana.... police say they have arrested the man wanted for killing five people including his step mother and father. it happened on saturday. investigators say 21-year-old dakota theriot (terry-oh) shot and killed his girlfriend and her parents... then killed his father and stepmom in a neighboring town. authorities say his parents identified him as the shooter before they died. terry-oh was captured in virgina this morning. (full screen graphic) statewide, the report ranks hillsborough as the safest california city, followed by palos verde estates, imperial, truckee and sierra madre rounding out the top five. the findings are based on the fbi's uniform crime reporting tool along with the trade group's "internal population

( marty ) now to the north bay, police in rohnert park are looking for the man who robbed a metro p-c-s store. police say the suspect walked into the store around 4:30 saturday afternoon and pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money and merchandise. police are asking anyone with anyone with information to give them a call. angeles who declared victory after a six-day strike have built momentum for activist educators in the bay area. they found success by framing their cause as a push to improve public education, not just get pay increases. l-a teachers demanded smaller class sizes and more nurses and counselors for students. teachers in colorado, virginia, texas, and other states are planning rallies, and, in some cases, walkouts. the actions have grown and fed off one another since the movement began last spring in west virginia. ( marty )facebook is in hot water as a new lawsuit reveals the company tricked kids and their parents... into spending money on the social media platform. court documents say that facebook allegedly encouraged game developers to get kids to spend money without their parents' permission. the papers also allege that facebook refused to issue refunds in some cases ... and that facebook would not try to block kids from spending money because it would reduce revenues. santa rosa girl battling a brain tumor in oakland is getting some encouragement from a pop star. her name is danica. her condition has worsened and she has lost feeling in her leg and arm. hospice volunteers have been with her family over the past week. danica has become known as sonoma county's princess warrior. she loves the music of singer meghan trainor whose songs motivated her during chemo treatments. we reached out to trainor on social media platforms.. saturday, she responded by saying, "love you danica! thinking of you and wish i
