been deferred. kristoff's heartbreaking death comes four years after his 24-year-old son, julian, committed suicide. i spoke with kristoff and his ex-wife about their heartbreak. >> that call was the worst call i have ever had in my life. i knew -- i knew that -- i knew that julian had died. >> julian who battled mental illness died at a mental health facility. they sued for negligence and the case was settled. >> i will campaign until the day i die to bring justice for my son. >> around the anniversary, the "the young and the restless" threatened to kill himself and he was police stationlaced on a hold. we spoke later on. how do you move forward in the public eye? >> it's been tough to move forward. >> just woke up from a nap. >> we met julian at 3 years old with his dad at the 1993 soap opera digest award. he leaves behind two ex-wives,
