investigators still haven't determined a cause of death. >> he has talked about sobriety. maybe kristoff couldn't get the help he needed and he was in real pain. >> kristoff was dealing with the loss of his son, julian, who took his own life four years earlier. i spoke to kristoff soon after. >> i want to show you something because this -- this is a moment i will never forget in my life. >> that call was the worst call i have ever had in my life. i knew -- i knew that -- i knew that julian had died. >> he was just broken by that loss. kristoff never got over it. >> how do you remember him?en h. i always felt safe, and when i look at that, it brings me joy, and it brings me such sorrow, but love is eternal.
