actual bomb at the scene police arrested brinckerhoff they're continuing their investigation this morning. now to the north bay are in county man is killed his teenage son injured when their car plunged off a cliff about help i a state park, the 13 year-old boy now recovering at marine general hospital kron four is down 4 and has the story. several emergency crews worked through the fog near mount tam to rescue a father and son down a hillside. >>police say their car rolled hundreds of feet off of ridge crest boulevard near willow campfire road. late thursday afternoon. the victims were found age acted from the vehicle. the driver 53 year old trick the handset of inverness died in the crash. his 13 year-old son was taken to hospital with major injuries. police say neither was wearing a seat belt. >>13 year-old son was asleep in the passenger seat of time and woke up as the car was going over. it was are out they were familiar with being

child's condition or what led to the crash. it happened again concrete fell on the lower deck of the on to the lower deck of the richness and rough elbridge now some of the chunks this time were as large as football's and it forced to eastbound lanes to close friday causing a major backup on get away friday. but all lanes have since been reopened section of the bridge was not the same area where concrete fell back in february after that expansion join failed and it took unclear this morning what caused the concrete to fall this time caltrans is already scheduling repairs for this section of the bridge. new this morning. the suspect in the homicide has been extradited back to the us and booked into the solano county jail. his name is william cordoba he's also known as william johnson, he was arrested in lima peru back in march of 2014. at the time he was being sought for allegedly killing 27 year-old jimmy richardson february of 2013.

investigators charge cordoba at the time and issued a an arrest warrant for him. now to the east bay where some residents in downtown raga very concerned about a patch of ground that sinking right above the storm drain. you can see where some of the asphalt in this gas station a parking lot are starting to sink and crack at the same time the same storm drain failed about 3 years ago in the sinkhole caused a major headache in the area swallowing up a traffic signal and parts of the sidewalk as well we're august public works director is concerned the current problem could end up as a bigger problem. and until i really get to see that report and understand the character of that pipe further. >>well, i words that i'm hoping that it is still in pretty good shape because if it failed like it did in the same poll, the cost to triple. >>well workers used an underground camera and check out the condition of the pipe. theesults are expected on monday. coming up for news

examine him differed in their conclusions. so now prosecutors want a 3rd psychiatrist who examined him. the judge will be making a decision on that in 2 weeks. national news this morning, atlanta police released new body cam footage of a deadly standoff that lasted more than 20 hours left 3 people dead and 2 officers wounded. we want to warn you that the video is graphic. >>on into a call thursday morning about an unresponsive woman bleeding inside the when an officer forced his way into the home he was shot by the 47 year-old suspect and hit in the chest and hip 5 bullets. another officer was shot in the hand outside the home police said the suspect was holding a teenage boy hostage hours of negotiation went nowhere in the swat team forced their way in there you see one officer diving out of
