today and again some of that drizzle we'll take a look at the forecast. it comes ahead for the start of the week and there's still no mention of rain to get things started but it looks pretty mild and the rest of the week though mark. our top story, this morning, a closer look at the christmas day officer-involved shooting that left one woman dead. >>this newly released body camera footage shows the woman's final actions before san jose police say they were forced to open fire. the santa clara county da ruled last week that the 4 officers involved in that shooting that you just saw were justified in their actions. a 62 page report found that officers fired 37 rounds and jennifer vasquez hitting or 14 times in the head chest arm and shoulder. a passenger in that vehicle that you saw was also hit. kron four is noel bello has more.

much covered are cleared out that just covered up here in the north bay but by noon that should be handled as well so we should see son at least in spots happening just about everywhere the bay today, although it will be a little bit more dogged by cloud cover up here in the north bay. those temperatures have really given been very mild off to a mild start we have been upper 50's to the north lower 50's to some low earth, middle 50's have been saying to the south into the inland valleys, but there are already stepping back now. were 5060 70 59 concord with 58 going on for san francisco. a couple degrees. we are ahead of what we work from this time yesterday and breaking it down well in the 70's for the inland valleys, it looks like this afternoon. not yet clear from the shot from the bay bridge imagery we can see still kind of a kind of a deck of some cloud cover kind of hanging around as you can see the east bay hill 68, san francisco, 69 for oakland, 73 for san jose well va but look at that forecast for you coming up in just a bit. our

top story this morning, a look at the christmas day officer-involved shooting that left one woman dead in the south bay, newly released body camera footage shows the woman's final actions before san jose police say they were forced to open fire. >>the santa clara county district attorney's office ruled ladt week that the 4 officers involved were justified in their actions. a 62 page report found that officers fired 37 rounds at jennifer vasquez hitting her 14 times in the head chest arm and shoulder. a passenger in that vehicle that you just saw was also hit kron for his has more. >>immediately after jennifer vasquez crashes the stolen car she was driving into fence, jose police officers shout several commands. despite

derrick all men and max harris are on trial for the 2016 oakland warehouse fire that killed 36 people. each is charged with 36 counts of involuntary manslaughter. last thursday prosecutors asked the 2 owners of the wahouse if they had leased the warehouse to all and if they were in any way responsible for the fire. the owners did not respond to any of those questions. tomorrow pools of potential jurors will come up to court to fill out questionnaires to begin the process. and new this morning the inmate who walked away from an alternative custody program last week is now back in custody. he's 43 year-old nick sanchez, he was arrested yesterday near san jose. last year he was sentenced to 3 years for vehicle theft and prior convictions and he was released to the acp program last week when he failed to report and then he failed to report to a parole officer, santa clara district attorney's office is now considering filing escape charges. again sanchez. this

waited more than 13 hours for help. she was rescued around 11 o'clock yesterday morning and airlifted to a hospital. the vehicle rolled about 800 feet down the embankment and ended up on its roof. there's no word just yet as to who was driving the car or the cause of the crash. we have new details on the deaths of 7 members of one family whose suv plunged off a cliff in mendocino county last year. reports show that some of the circumstances in the suv just before jennifer hart drove or 6 adopted children off of a cliff jennifer's wife sarah was in the passenger seat at the time. she apparently was looking at different ways to end a life. last week coroner's jury unanimously ruled it was a murder suicide. the crash happened just days after authorities in washington state opened an investigation following allegations the couple was neglecting the children. investigators found the remains of everyone inside the suv except for 15 year-old

it also tells us a lot pretty much clear things out so it's low level moisture. the fog. it's at the lower levels that we have to kind of take care of right now our temperatures were at 64 out to concord's 59 antioch 60 for livermore but he's shoreline has already popped to about 6061. meanwhile and nap at 6058 meanwhile for san francisco. so future cast for what you have for us it should open up pretty nicely this afternoon for everybody. this is more optimistic than some of the earlier model runs what's even clearing out it looks like in the north a bit too. it fills back in again tonight tomorrow to 45 ish or so right before the evening commute, scattered showers overnight to tuesday morning. but then the skies opened up for the afternoon so somewhat roads tuesday morning perhaps but then we clear things out for the afternoon and that's a fairly calm and quiet week that we have ahead, let's jump over that they bridge shot too. there's the east bay hills still working on these clouds as well variable clouds and mild that's the only part of the forecast 70's happening in london. yay and then for
