the news this morning breaking overnight a 30 year-old woman and her 6 year-old son were killed a 3rd man was seriously injured after they were hit in a marked crosswalk in oakland's foot hill neighborhood. it all happened at the intersection of 26th avenue in foothill boulevard in oakland. police say that they were hit by the driver of a 2 of a black two-door mercedes which then fled the scene, the 3rd victim a 20 year-old man remains in critical condition in the hospital this morning. police are still searching for the suspect. now to the south bay where portions, a commuter rail is closed this morning following it crash that killed a pedestrian. it happened last night when she was hit by a vehicle as she walked on el camino real. she was pronounced dead at the scene mountain view police say the driver stopped and is cooperating with investigators. police say that westbound el camino will be closed at south shoreline boulevard until later this morning. and san francisco police are investigating a 4 car hit and run that rattled in ocean beach neighborhood.

into a home for shocked and when we saw the nature of the accident we thought there's no way that somebody wasn't killed in this accident from the looks of but from what we're understanding. nobody was injured to that level. the san francisco police say of the people writing in the black suv did go to the hospital as a precaution. >>but no injuries have been reported it's really sad and i hope everybody is ok. they have detained several potential suspects, but no arrests have been made. >>in ocean beach while bellow kron 4 news. >>and enrichment a child and 40 to the hospital felt following a multi vehicle hit and run collision. this was on interstate 80 last night the chp says it was first reported around 10 o'clock near ellport hall drive in iraq involved about 8 vehicles. all lanes were blocked about 10 30 last night but have since been reopened investigators have not released a description of the suspect. nor the vehicle.

as baseballs although caltrans and chp found no concrete or debris on the bridge. friday's backup was a mixture of preplanned work with caltrans and chp figuring out what happened. a woman driving eastbound on the richmond san bridge friday night told authorities chunks of concrete fell from the upper deck and hit her car. >>but according to caltrans it was not concrete. the agency says engineers immediately completed an inspection of the bridge and determine no concrete fell from the upper deck friday night. the chp also did a rolling check but did not find any debris on the bridge. >>after the incident was reported caltrans tells khan for a small pot hole was its ban on the lower deck and was repaired that night. >>chp says the driver reported the incident to the toll plaza around 7.30. the driver wasn't injured, but told authorities the impacts left dime size chips in her windshield, this is the 3rd incident this year that someone has reported pieces of concrete falling on the lower deck, the latest to

last week concrete chunks of the size of a pebble to a football. all incidents, causing a major backup. in the meantime caltrans has already scheduled repairs for the bridge. >>chp was able to inspect the windshield and found 2 chips, less than one quarter of an age, although no large concrete or debris was found a seat speed did fall a traffic collision report for documentation in richmond to get along kron 4 news. >>governor neom is asking for federal help in storm cleanup and recovery efforts. that's a severe storms in february cause some widespread flooding around the bay area and also mudslides and damage to critical infrastructure in time across the entire state of california on saturday. the governor requested presidential major debt disaster declarations now if that's granted that would help state and local governments with the recovery projects. san francisco is gearing up for big crowds of golden gate park for the annual for 20
