rosa high school on their final day of the school year. >>about 10 40 friday morning, a student reported that he saw a fellow student in the music building holding a handgun heavily armed police surrounded the campus and began searching for the 15 year-old boy who was seen with the gun. they notified parents by phone of the lockdown. >>it was really like scary instrument as a because is usually like when this usually happens it doesn't have been linked to severe really the swat team has to come and serve i mean it's really tense. i mean i think people tend to go in the worst case scenario. over something like this happens so that's right and i think the majority my classmates were at the beginning. >>and shortly before 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon police foundthe suspect in the neighborhood about a half mile from the campus. they found a weapon in a trash can in a mcdonald's near the high school police say it turned out to be a replica handgun. police arrested the teenager they lifted the lockdown and they say the suspect had just been suspended last week and was on campus to visit a

friend, he's been booked into juvenile hall for bringing a weapon on campus. new this morning. pacifica police are searching for a person who injured a store clerk wall flynn, a crime scene at the eureka square shopping center. police say the clerk was trying to stop a theft at oceana market when the suspects hitter with their car. the clerks in the hospital this morning with serious injuries. happening today, the california democratic party convention continues in san francisco, several presidential candidates set to speak later on today. it's all happening this weekend at the moscow knee center, today's speakers include senators camel harris, elizabeth warren a's bay, congress man. eric swalwell kron forced and thor now with a look at what you can expect from this weekend's convention. >>people enjoying cutouts of politicians on day one of the democratic party convention in san francisco. the event is drawing democrats from all over the state and will showcase more than a dozen presidential candidates. i am excited to see you know sure

>>morning we're back on kron 4 news week in june first and we're taking a live look outside so the cloudy conditions along the coast a sparser to tell us all about it. you want to mix that out it looks like into the afternoon get sunny skies for the bay area for the media today we already see that happening in london get those temperatures booted up a bit. >>going to be a touch cooler tomorrow, the inland valleys, not as should say maybe not cool but not as warm as we're seeing today, we're getting a little flavor summer for those inland valleys today so watch out here is the shot of the bay bridge. we say overcast and the faa going on, but it up right up against the east bay hills alcatraz is shrouded in the fog for right now again this will mix out to a mostly sunny mode. we'll see to what the wave interference upstairs that we do have a little bit of a system in our backyard. that's going to help drive some of these afternoon showers right up there up sloping we call it in the mountains complements the daytime heating will show you that just a bit. right now

we're looking at mid 50's for the east bay shoreline inland popping about 63 for cop to the north bay, plenty of 50's lower to middle 50's at that 51 san francisco and san jose around 59 future cast for not a whole lot happens around the bay again we start to mix out some of that fog already approaching or lunch hour getting some cells developing you can see and with the daytime heating. we'll start to populate a bit the little bit south you can see a route tahoe and reno bit to down the sun or sequoyah national park kenya, somebody of that that's where the concentration will be not too much happening in central valley though today about couple those cells though exhaust clouds looks like heading towards fresno later on today then tonight here comes the fog again by sunday morning. we'll have a little bit more going up here in the north bay in the captain insula coast out blow going on bay fog and clouds will clear we've got mile to warm depending on your perspective. some 70's for the bay will hold on to some upper 60's to 80's going on in the

peninsula, the family of a man who died during an incident with san mateo county sheriff's deputies is now suing the department she colby died last october after being tased by deputies in this video of the encounter, the deputies originally tried to stop him for jaywalking. according to the da's colby who suffered from mental illness did not comply. the officer called for backup. the situation escalated and coby was tased 4 times earlier this year, the da announced there will be no charges filed against the officers. still ahead this morning on kron 4 news weekend the warriors getting ready for game 2 against the raptors tomorrow we're going to hear from players on the adjustments they've made to come away with a win tomorrow. and we're taking a live look outside the conditions of this at the richmond bridge this time around a little bit of a back up the

of spots around the bay of this morning day, but it's going to burn off a right but in this particular on the immediate perimeter, the bay that were saying it into a pass east bay hills you know, hey the sun is out it's deep blue skies that's our future. >>so what we're going to see by this morning in these embarcadero shots by the brightening start to happen is the fog starts to make people want uphold is all shriver and all of this as well so it's all covered up, there's a alcatraz island we promise it's out there. and it's all covered up in the fog right now golden gate same view as well, but we'll be checking in with all this morning to see the progress. speaking of which what is future cast have to say about this bay area fog gone before you know it looks like already by 9.15 cleared out except for areas of the coast this little problem area here that probably should be handled in the afternoon. but this a fog looks like it will linger in coastal spots at least until we get into the around the noon hour or so at least some of it. calm winds though that we have right now we'll have bit of an on shore wind developing compliments of some accelerating heating

city worker went to his office late friday afternoon and opened fire with a semiautomatic pistol that had extended clips and a suppressor. he was later killed in a shootout with police. an officer was shot in that gun battle, but he sought to survive thanks to his bulletproof vest. happening today, the california democratic party convention continues to in san francisco, a dozen presidential candidates said to speak today. it's all happening this weekend at the moscow knee center today's speakers include senators camel a harris elizabeth warren, cory booker and more kron for us christine that hate rose at the moscow knee center show have live updates for us throughout the morning. ahead of her speech today at the convention center a county california senator kamala harris attended a planned parenthood event last night in san francisco. she spoke about a woman's right to choose and the role that issue will play in the 2020 presidential race. and what she's done as a senator to try and ensure that right for women in california and across the country.
