francisco. and a clear conditions as we're seeing at the san francisco skyline right now. and this just tells us yes things are going to get quite toasty as we get into the afternoon hours. here's what you can expect a very hot weekend. the hottest will be tomorrow and monday. that's we're going to see in the 90's but the possibility of those triple digits. so keep that in mind it's going to be really nice at the beaches as well upwards of 80 degrees in some spots. so if you can maybe head out to that direction. it will be really nice over the weekend. during a the peak hours to try to limit your outdoor activity if you can make sure you stay hydrated and a whole lot of sunscreen you're going to need. now the increase of temperatures and the winds also increases fire danger around the bay area so a red flag warning is a is in effect now through sunday and even into monday for all the red spots the see the coloring on your screen there some parts of the north bay and parts of our east bay zone as well so keep that in mind today as so we get through the rest of the weekend. 24 hour

temperature changes right now we're looking at a anywhere from 6 to almost 17 degrees warmer in some spots and i'll let you know how warm it's going to be in your neighborhood coming up in just a bit party all right rebecca, thanks a lot. >>let's get to the news this morning as rebecca mentioned there is a red flag warning in effect for the north bay hills through tomorrow and that fire danger was emphasized friday afternoon in the north bay. >>as fire crews have their hands full battling a stubborn grass fire, 50 homes were evacuated for a time kron four is long takes a look at the destruction and what crews are doing this weekend to try and prevent further fires. >>i'm here on core delia road in fairfield right behind me all the damage you see nothing but charred hills stretching across the road. this way. florida county officials say this was the biggest brush fire this year. >>definitely they he and the winds and the humidity played a factor in this. >>the nelson fire grew quickly and burned across 25 acres is a lot of county the fire started east of the corps de junction just after 12 30

friday afternoon. crews worked fast to get it under control we had 27 engines a helicopter and to hand crews from cal fire. >>and just about every resource slaughter county was on scene here for what. >>no word on how it started but high winds coupled with low humidity means an alarming increase in fire dangers a lot of county fire officials say while grass fires here in the month of june are nothing unusual this year. so far have been exceptional particular fire. it's really rocky and rough terrain so it was difficult to fight. >>about 50 homes were evacuated residents have since been told they can return to their properties but firefighters say the biggest message here is to be prepared. we always recommend you have a go bag just ready to go with medications up or documents. >>any pictures that people may value to them and you know that supplies food for your your animals if need be and uh you know how you're going to skate what route you're going to take. >>there were no reported injuries in the meantime cal fire and solano county fire departments have been aggressively up staffing just

end quote, president was planning to impose a 5% tariff on mexican goods entering the u s if mexico did not limit the number of migrants moving in to the u s. now to the north bay this morning, the 17 year-old is facing charges in the shooting that injured 3 people that includes an 11 year boy a 11 year-old boy this jacobs park. the teenager from rohnert park with 2 men at the time of the shooting police say they were driving around the park yelling at a group of men when their car they pulled it over and a 17 year-old got out and fired at least 10 rounds. all of those wounded are expected to be okay. 3 people were arrested following a fight inside an east bay restaurant you're looking at it now this brawl broke out at the gold the golden corral in concord near the kids section of the restaurant. the video shows 3 women fighting while a 4th woman is holding a baby in her arms, she is appearing to intervene. >>i just i've never seen i've been working here for the last

6 years and i've never seen that before. well 19 year-old woman in a 16 year-old girl both from annie off were arrested. an 18 year-old from an 18 year-old man from pittsburgh was also taken into custody on an unrelated matter. teachers in the new haven school district are expected to vote on a contract proposal on monday yesterday the teachers and the union reached a tentative agreement to end the 14 day strike that includes a teacher's pay increase, which was their major demand. teachers will get a 3% raise retroactive to january 1st of this year. the law also get a 2 and a half percent bonus for the 2018 2019 school year. then on july first teachers will get a one percent pay hike with a contingency of one percent more on the salary schedule based on the passage of school funding legislation now teachers approve the proposal. they could return to their classrooms as early as monday.

berkeley hills, a nice clear shot temperature wise it's really nice as you make your way out the door this morning, 60's for the most part low to mid 60's. right here in san francisco 66 already 58 in san jose we're looking at at 59 degrees currently in downtown oakland. but yes, the heat is definitely on its way to the bay area. it's going to be quite warm today, but they get really hot in fact, there's a heat advisory in place in place for most spots around the bay area starting tomorrow into monday because that's where really going to see the temperatures soar 90's and the possibility of those triple digits around the bay area very nice at the coast at the beach is if you can head out to a santa cruz may be going to happen today or stinson beach in the north a it's going to be really nice near 80 degrees and some of those spots. but of just be real careful make sure that you have the sunscreen on over the next couple of days. and that you stay hydrated drink a whole lot of water and that levi a body of water if you can highs today on the toasty

raaf line spoke with cal fire in morgan hill about their preparations. >>fire weather has returned to the bay area and you can see judging from the flag flying over cal fire headquarters here in morgan hill that it is already very windy weather also warming up heading into the weekend cal fire tells me that it is already shifting resources around to be ready for whatever may be in store. here's more on that now from division chief jim crawford. >>we have been working with our northern region partners, another cal fire units will be staging additional resources from areas outside the a red flag into the east bay hills and the stations that we have basically in days so that we can bolster resources if there's a fire in the the resource closer so what we're seeing here. we have a pretty late spring. so our life feels are still pretty moist. but the annual grasses especially on the side of the unit, it definitely teacher available to her. so for a quick transition wet spring to a dry

you would just be really safe out their plan, your outdoor activities may be in the morning or in the evening and not during the peak hours. winds we are going to feel a some gusty winds throughout the day today. it's going to be breezy through oakland and around the bay, as we get closer. in london even in fairfield upwards of 20 mile an hour wind gusts as we get through the rest of the day. of course the warm temperatures and the offshore winds means red flag warning so fire danger over the next couple of days all the red coloring on your screen. those are the areas that are underneath this a red flag warning so much of the north bay in the north bay hills and then getting into of the santa sa area as well in the fairfield area over the next few days so keep that in mind temperatures today, not going to be as high to as a what we're going to see tomorrow but it's still going to feel pretty toasty in some spots, especially because we're going to see the low 90's inland in some areas like concord a high of 91 88 degrees in livermore
