problem in this sense the site sizes too big for the that blatter is wrapping around itself and it makes it easy to compress the artery and therefore you're going to get this artificially low reading so someone that may i thinking my foot fissures on doing okay, yeah, yeah was that actually. take a look the number one problem is the cuff size the second one is the arm position what is the issue we asked still our position should be at the mid-term him, your arms should be the palm should be up. lot of times if you're sitting in a chair. you'll get your blood pressure with your arm at a right robo yes, so arms should be straight should be straight out and support it. hanging out like this and sometimes they say hold the arm out and i'll take your blood pressure it needs to be supported concert. you're tensing the muscle if it if you're holding its first and that affects the blood pressure i'm hanging
9:49 am
down another one that's often so these are very common very calm yeah and when it's hanging down the blood is pulling is going into that artery, sure it's going to retire, give it up like this the he had lead and i can what is trending down you're going to get a low rating. so basically chest high straight no band in the open rights our position as number 2 yes that we it. i was under threat. number 3 but the rest you know need to rest sufficiently before you take your blood pressure 5 minutes. is is a good. good sorry are you talking sit down and just kind of get wrestling compress a little bit don't us. jump on there and try and get so so if you're getting this done in a doctor's office a lot of times you know you come rushing in here late yes and that's the exact looked fresh and you're

yes and really try to to lose the tension. yes, exactly if that muscle tension, you know whether you are holding your arm. >>now you're sitting in unsupported for your feet are dangling, yes, all those things are have an effect one thing that i've always wondered about when i go and get my blood pressure reading and that is do these cops have to be on the skin. >>or can they be through a shirt, you get an actual accurate. we need ensure that's a good question. it should be on the skin on and at the most maybe a 2 millimeter i mean that's that they are a very thin shirt, but it's bunching up it's just not going to read really need to just think skin one last thing our are there differences in the way that machines are calibrated can that be an issue too. it could be too yeah and it's good too. if it's if it's really off if have your need check the batteries are our whatnot but yes to kill a lot of line here is that you really need to be your own pretty good to go that eggs ackley and and you
