area we're dealing with just a little bit of fog this morning as you can see in this live look at the city skyline. this morning fr the embarcadero camera let's go and get the latest on the father's day forecast from rebecca strong. >>and we're off to a foggy start on this father's day we are going to see a visibility not the greatest around the bay area for now. and as we advance the clock ahead, it's going to be sticking with us through most of the morning hours, especially the coast and inland. but then once we get closer to the lunchtime hour things are going to start to go away and just sickler really along the coast that we're going to be seeing for the rest of the afternoon and that should be clear and around the bay for your father's day. temperatures a lot more comfortable than what we saw especially last week with triple digits and not the case today. a high of 69 degrees if you're going to be in the marina district this afternoon, golden gate park you're going to be at 67. and as we move along the coast we're going to be mostly in the 60's on terror at 60 degrees today. we're not a 65 and again a little bit of that

fog that we are going to see along our coastal spots and then that's what we're going to start to some 70's on the board as we move along the peninsula. millbrae you're going to be at 71 a high of 74 and burlingame and then a lot more mild upper 70's through san carlos and redwood city woodside mountain view near 80 degrees expected. tomorrow afternoon. it's going to get a little testy though if you're going to be in the south bay later today, 83 for the high in downtown san jose 81 degrees. in morgan hill and a lot of sunshine in campbell you're going to be at 83 for the afternoon high. looking at your east bay zone mid to upper 70's across the bay 75 in hayward fremont you're going to get 78 but then 80's as we move further land in livermore 84 degrees 80 degrees and send all today along the east bay shoreline low 70's, richmond into berkeley and even downtown oakland, a high of 71, but then jumping over the east bay hills we're going to get back to those 80's once again from concord and a woman creek. all

thanks a lot to the marine layer that we continue to see a thick in bringing us. some fog and cloud cover across the bay area that high pressure system it's bringing warmer temperatures staying away from the bay area for now. so again things are going to be a lot more comfortable as we get into a father's day afternoon. here's a look at highs today we're going to be a touch warm, especially inland 84 degrees that you're going to conquered 84 livermore as well mid to upper 70's though for the most part around the bay 75. heifer for hayward later on this afternoon. 70 degrees in fremont we're looking at low 80's in the south bay later today, and upper 60's for san francisco. and if you're heading out to half moon bay, a lot of sunshine but we will see some that stubborn fog sticking along the coast and then we're going to see some low 80's in napa and santa rosa, looking ahead. tomorrow though the warm-up that's we're going to start to see 90's come back to us, especially in line through wednesday. and then things are going to taper down by just a few degrees but all in all it's going remain pretty warm

founded by the heavy metal band in the area legend metallica governor lars already came to the san francisco marin food bank to roll up his sleeves and help fans package, fresh fruit and produce inside of the warehouse, not only did he physically help out but he also delivered a $5,000 check on behalf of the foundation to the food bank. he also says touring with his band is what gave him the idea to help fight hunger. >>maybe 1015 years ago when you come into town where that town and those are the rock show that comes through was crew and staff and the band's there's a lot of food that supplied the evidence also lot of food that's left behind. and so we started a. realizing that maybe that food should not go to waste. so we started getting in touch in way so that food to be distributed to the people in need. >>the san francisco marin food bank is one of 50 food banks across the country. metallica

definitely give me a toasty week around the bay area for the next 7 days. >>rebecca thanks a lot let's go now to southern california where the corona police department says the recent deadly shooting at a cost co happened after a man attacked an off-duty police officer, the shooting killed one person and injured 2 others friday night, the department identifies the victim as kenneth french and that he got into an argument and then assaulted an off-duty lapd officer. the officer was holding a child at the time. the statement goes on to say that the officer fired his gun hitting french and to a french is relatives, french died at the scene at the costco store. his relatives are in critical condition. this morning. the officer involved was treated and released at a nearby hospital, his child was not injured. national headlines this morning. the us is ramping up cyber attacks on russia's electric power grid in his place potentially crippling mall where inside the russian system. that's a

live report from the new york times that says the mall where has been placed deeper into the russian grid than ever attempted before. and it's meant to be a warning to russia and to position the us to conduct cyber attacks against russia should a significant conflict arise the white house says the president was not told about these actions out of fear of how he would react and that he could divulge the information to russian officials. the times reports the cyber attacks appear to have been carried out under new legal that included a a bill that congress passed last year. the president went after the new york times following the publishing of that article tweeting that the report is false and even treasonous and it's important to note that the new york times did talk to national security and white house officials about the article before it was published and they raised no concerns to the newspaper. the 2020 presidential campaign is set to hit a new phase as democrats announced the lineups for the first round of

throughout the throughout one oh one. all lanes we can confirm are now back open. northbound and southbound know this is after shoe multi car accident happening on each the north and southbound side early this side of the freeway early this morning. it actually led to one person being dead as well as serious and or injuries to another and also lead to an arrest of a possible dui suspect that want to go in and show you a map of exactly where this happened. we mentioned it's often embarcadero one oh one so that's where it all started injures information we know now this series of crashes started just after 2 this morning when a wrong-way driver on northbound one oh one seriously hurt another driver and a head-on crash. now the wrong way driver died right there at the scene the chp is investigating if drugs or alcohol were involved with that one. now around 00:30am in the morning 2 separate crashes happened on the southbound side of the freeway chp officers believe both of the crashes happened these

drivers will rubber necking and looking at the deadly crash scene on the. freeway in the first of these 2 southbound crashes one car rear ended the other on the southbound side not long after that a woman from the car hit from behind got out, started walking on the southbound lanes and that's when another car driving on the freeway struck her. now the driver of the car hitting her has been arrested on suspicion i've actually felony dui because officers believe that drugs and alcohol were involved now the suspect's name has not been released. and we are told that woman is in critical condition and is key currently undergoing surgery at this hour ofcers really want to remind everyone to stay safe on the roads. there's a say that it's very lucky that is this it happened on a sunday me there's not a lot of cars on the road to keep in mind that this is also father's day. >>more people than normally on a sunday. so keep this in mind again if you're celebrating today just remember everyone is precious cargo in your car and make sure not to go out and look at something has
