around but at least it's a little bit aloft a bit so we can see at the surface on having too much trouble but already clearing up there are more and it looks like so really smooth sailing it looks like a head. in future cast here we can see too much the way of fog but just wanted to know real quickly do you see clear patch happening to the entire area already by 90 and even those coastal trouble areas like a half moon bay really improving it looks like for today temperatures in the 50's it looks like for right now in iraq and checking in 61 up in the north bay, some 50 santa rosa at 49 you can have some temperature movement this afternoon. 50's you can see down south 57 for san jose by contrast, the clear skies temperatures a little cooler this morning that we saw yesterday morning. nice deep blue skies as well will reach for about 80 or so come early afternoon with us history clouds start to thicken up a little bit we'll show you that in the future cast, 80 or so we're coming in with temperatures. highs about 80% was a 71 open 66 san francisco again climate-controlled

around the bay you will see that into the 7 day forecast we'll have more in a bit morning. ok, dave sounds good. thank you. well this morning, investigators working to figure out what sparked a massive blaze at a condo construction site in santa clara kron four's dan thorn has an update. >>a fire tears through a santa clara construction site sending thick black smoke and flames into the air one construction worker was injured but he's expected to be okay. >>5 cycle plan was huge to get more running and see this my head and it's just like fed knows about 100 of the lead. >>video shared by stunned viewers shows the fire destroying what was supposed to be a luxury apartment complex along el camino reale the blaze was a horrifying sight for people who live nearby oh my >>that was horrible sight and thus i mean it was to blaze. >>people in some homes close to the fire were forced to evacuate. others were told to close their windows and keep their pets inside. despite being hundreds of feet away

plastic on the side of david miniseries car melted as the fire got bigger and the heat turned on the fire was so hot. >>that note was signed we'll call the window the saw. >>dozens of crews responded to the scene trying to put out the flames but the work continued more than 10 hours after the initial blaze kind of shocking because it's in my life i saw that for the first time such a big fire. the massive fire. lots of smoke. >>as kron four's dan thorn reporting the cause of the fire still under investigation this morning. now fires of others that destroyed buildings that were under construction in the bay area. there have been at least 6 of these types of fires in the bay area since 2014. last october a 126 unit complex in oakland went up in flames. the second fire that night at a building under construction. then in april of last year a huge fire burned a 240 unit building in concord the building scaffolding even collapse of one point in that

blaze in july of 2016 and may of 2017 the same 105 unit apartment by project in emeryville was it causing millions of dollars in damage. investigators believe it was arson but not far away near oakland's lake merritt a predawn fire in 2016 also destroyed a 41 unit project. the other big story we're following this morning, dozens of patients at the laguna honda hospital in san francisco have been abused by staff members. that's according to mayor londoc breed and the city public health department kron four's dan kerman has more. >>we're here to report something difficult disturbing and disappoint team to the people of san francisco at a news conference friday afternoon san francisco's director of public health announced an investigation has determined. 23 dementia patients at laguna honda hospital were mistreated by 6 staff members between 2016 in january of this year. the

patients range in age from 30 to 100 and the mistreatment includes verbal and physical abuse, neglect violations of privacy and the dispensing of medication that was not prescribed, we're better than this. we are committed to restoring the trust of the families and the patience of laguna honda san francisco mayor london breed says her grandmother was a dementia patient at laguna honda during her later years. she was joined in are outraged by board of supervisors president norman me this is personal to me. >>i've had family members stay there. i still have friends whose parents are stuff. our feature 4. so for this to occur. in our our watch this is i don't i don't have the words express how. >>whoa of said i am laguna honda is a skilled nursing and rehab facility owned and operated by the city and county of san francisco. the misconduct was uncovered in february of this year. during

were under construction, there have been at least 6 of these types of fires in the bay area since 2014. last october, a 126 unit complex in oakland went up in flames. it was the second fire that night at a building under construction. in april of last year a huge fire burned a 240 unit building in concord the building scaffolding even collapse of one point and then back in july of 2016 and in may of 2017 the same 105 unit complex project in emeryville was hit causing millions of dollars of fire damage. investigators believe it was arson not far away from that near oakland's lake merritt a predawn fire in 2016 destroyed a 41 unit project. news this morning, a big story for that we're following dozens of patients at the laguna honda hospital in san francisco have been abused by staff members. that's according to mayor london breed and the city public health department kron four's dan kerman has more.
