tornado cause parts car to flip over you can see the era. it was happened yesterday near philadelphia. twister also cause some roof damage in a warehouse building nearby, but the storm moved on in no injuries were reported, but some scary moments there well. that is so foreign to us here in california, although you know we do get sometimes there are there are tornadoes in one of the things is to a ticket to the monsoon because it happens in the not very populated areas. >>sometimes some of these things are happening in areas we don't see that you know we can see from radar now, but we were not there and its style do ything to damage or what it is that we know where for us to cares that's fine more now because populations are moving to some of these areas we get some of these storms of people of our normal so we're going into nature and nature is coming back. here's what we've got going on in the home front across the bay the flooded valley, this is what we have right now out of the bay bridge. the overcast skies from the fog in the cloud cover this morning that's not just fall going on because some of these clouds of reach far inland as we showed you that picture about blow. so we're dealing with that today
7:17 am
and that should clear itself out by noon or about 1 o'clock or so in the afternoon, here's a shot from a lick observatory at the mt hamilton, you can still get a load of some of those clouds are aloft but at least we're getting some sun coming through there. not a bad start to the day down south there future cast for this the cloud cover i mentioned as you can see clearing for the afternoon. marine layer still kind of hanging out a little bit. then tonight overnight you can see the clouds the marine layer starts to come back again, although i think in land that won't be as intrusive as we're seeing today. that's how we're going to start the day in and around the media bay. maybe potentially some sprinkles along the coast to when they might these challenges along the beaches to get it cleared out. so for today we got the morning, they clouds and the fog mostly sunny into the afternoon that should cover a good portion of the bay places like san francisco. i think however that maybe a little more problematic and for the game today, 70's and 80's so cool temperatures that's inland by the way. then tomorrow morning clouds clearing the land high temperatures reaching near
7:18 am
about 80. so the recover lot of 70's are going to see in the 4 zone forecast and then for this week we've got mostly sunny gradual warming and before you know it reach our goal into the 90's and i mean 90's maybe perhaps into next weekend, but at least by friday will reach about 90 or so by friday. so uh that's not too bad for this time of year, but maybe a little shocked or system because it's been so cool and mild got 80's going on today, so these are the highs contrast with yesterday little cooler 84 katie to concord meanwhile, we got a chilly 60's for highs going on places like calais hole opened at 68 lower 70's on the east bay shoreline lots of green on the board would like that 77 for san jose and an 84 up there to santa rosa, so still some stubborn areas still making it into the 80's so we'll go with 63 san francisco, oakland 6877 coming in for san jose coming up in a bit we'll check out the giants forecast for you marty. a man accused of raping 3 women in the 90's was in a sacramento courtroom on friday.
