focus will be on undocumented immigrants who already have court orders to be deported. now the raid could last several days city officials here in the bay area of said they will not help federal officials in the raid. some city state and national leaders have called the this operation fear mongering and said they will not be cooperating. well the president and his administration insists the are just carrying out the law. >>on criminals as much as we it starts on sundays and they're going to take people out they're going to bring him back to their countries. >>this is an attempt. to intimidate immigrant and latino communities across the country. these are honest hard working people who are immigrants many of hem have u s citizen children. those parents will now be separated from those kids. >>rapid response networks are set up in different cities along the bay area to help undocumented immigrants who

are concerned about upcoming raids and offer legal advice time here at the customs office and as you can tell there are barricades behind me prepared for any type of protest that will be happening today, you know that there will be many security measures taking place here in the city, reporting live in san francisco, christina teatro kron 4 news. >>all right christina thanks for that live report we'll see in about an hour with an update. well, the president and immigration officials have said repeatedly that these raids will only rget those who have gone through the court process and have official orders to leave the country or people who miss their court dates. many people however, worry that other immigrants could get swept up in the raids and end up separated from their families. kron 4 spoke to an immigration attorney about what people should do in the event of an ice raid. >>there's a few major things that i want. >>people think about when this is happening, i know it's a very scary time so definitely try to stay calm if somebody is at your door. slip a warrant under the door and make sure it's a ju just show warrant meaning it's signed by a judge. it's not signed by a

now to the east bay this morning where police are still looking for the person who shot a man in the parking lot of the 6 flags hurricane harbor saturday afternoon. police think the 2 men got into an argument shortly before the shooting but they are not sure exactly what it was about. officers arrived on the scene around 5 o'clock and they found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, he was rushed to the hospital he's expected to survive. police are looking for an african american man with tattoos on his back. wayne about 220 pounds and driving a silver older model honda four-door sedan with front bumper damage. a sacramento brewery has released its latest beer, it honors a fallen police officer from the bay area andtit attracted a lot attention on saturday as you can see the line that was wrapped around the parking lot for the re release of sully 3, 4, 9, it's named after sacramento, police officer tara o'sullivan who was killed in the line of duty last month. o'sullivan

this morning police say an elderly man was apparently trying to park his car when his foot slipped off the brake and on to the big seller 8 or and that sent his van into a cvs pharmacy and muranga the vehicle crashed into the front of the cvs store at 5 a team the road shortly before 1 o'clock saturday afternoon. officials say a number of at the time they suffered re minor injuries, one person was sent to the hospital. the driver and the passenger in the van were not injured. police say they don't believe that drugs or alcohol caused this wreck. a school superintendent near fresno is offering no apologies about a live shooter drill that he held at his school. but some parents say it was too realistic. he had a janitor wear a mask and carry a fake gun while banging on classroom doors. some people said the drill could end up traumatizing children but the super cup superintendent says he's trying to save lives. kim kovr copper says that in her 22 year career as a teacher she's never gone through anything like this.

the forecast and a dave yesterday, hot inland now look at the same thing today. yeah we are although we're chipping away at a little bit of what it's like up for some locations but still the real cool down not happening until next week okay, although we're also dealing with thicker fog. >>and the bay area looks like to get the coast. this is a shot from a mount diablo not a problem there, beautiful blue skies which are going to continue to see inland and the bay area itself will clear out a bit here is the golden gate. again covered in this fog and this is protected the kind of you're going to see if the coastal the little billy higher up it'll be the overcast sky appearance from the north bay all the way down through the peninsula. let's watch this and future cast for it really doesn't budge at all everybody else clears out nicely as you can see but still along the coast. a nice fairly thick line is in place there all the way until this evening at 5 o'clock and then boom it comes back again just spills into the bay for everybody with a continuation of good on shore wind that we're starting to welcome in early into the week. you're no son uptick on those winds in the evening hours. not just tonight to this evening, but

also tomorrow evening and tomorrow through the night. now temperatures now are up to 71 antioch 64 concord 63 going on livermore with 50's up here to the north bay, 60 already for oakland and 55 for san francisco. so the residential areas in the west harbor again you'll be seeing a lot of that fog today, temperatures compared to pretty close give or take a degree and the breakdown today, 81 by high noon, 88 by 3, but we still have room for some 90's to pop here and there they'll be a little bit more sparse than yesterday because we have a gradual cool down before we get a big hit happening on tuesday. we'll do 64 san francisco today, 80 for san jose and 72 coming in clinton marty ok dave thanks a lot, let's get to the news this morning. and our top story as ice agents are set to begin their raids this morning here in the bay area and across the country. >>it's all part of the president's crackdown on undocumented immigrants and since news of the raids broke last week. many have been

preparing for the possibility of raids as well as taking to the streets to demonstrate. kron four's christine that hatred joins us live in san francisco. she has the latest christina. >>now ice officials have not said when or where these raids will take place but the president did say they are going to be happening today and they are expected to take place in many different cities across the us including san francisco along with atlanta denver, los angeles and new york officials say the focus will be on undocumented immigrants who already have court orders to be deported. the raid could last several days city officials here in the bay area have said they will not help federal officials in the raid. some city state and national leaders have called operation fear mongering said they will not be cooperating. well the president and his administration insists they are just carrying out the law. >>a criminals as much as we it starts on sundays and they're going to take people out they're going to bring him back to their countries. >>this is an attempt. to

intimidate immigrant and latino communities across the country. these are honest hard working people who are immigrants many of them have u s citizen children. those parents will now be separated from those kids. >>rapid response networks are set up in cities across the bay area to help undocumented immigrants, we're concerned about the upcoming rates to offer legal advice. they're here the customs office you can actually see the barricades behind me they have been up. for quite a few days here with all of the incoming protests that have happened here in the city and there are more to be expected today. reporting live here in san francisco christina teatro kron 4 news. >>all right christina thanks a lot for that live report from san francisco. the president and immigration said repeatedly that these raids will only target those who have gone through the court process and have official orders to leave the country or people who have missed their court dates. many however worry that other immigrants

could get swept up in the raids and end up separated from their families. kron 4 spoke to an immigration attorney about what people should do in the event of an ice raid. >>there's few major things that i will. >>people think about when this is happening, i know it's a very scary time so definitely try to stay calm if somebody is at your door. slip a warrant under the door and make sure it's a ju just show warrant meaning it's signed by a judge. it's not signed by a judge you do not have to let anybody in your home. you also have a right to remain silent. so if they do have a warrant and they come into your home. you can just let them know you want to speak with an attorney and remain silent after that definitely don't lie don't claim to be a citizen if you're not because that can be very problematic for your case going forward. and do not sign anything without a lawyer because often times people can sign away rights are signed on terri departure orders just being unaware of what they sign. you want to be able to

>>kron 4 news weekend, thousands of people across the gulf coast are without power this morning as tropical storm barry continues to dump rain on the region and create dangerous flooding conditions. the storm is expected to be downgraded later today, but it's still posing some dangerous threats. camila bernal has more now from new orleans. >>the rain still the biggest concern in the gulf coast one day after barry made landfall as a hurricane. now the slow-moving storm is lashing deeper inland into louisiana and parts of alabama. >>it's going to be a long several days for our state. i know the people of louisiana are strong and resilient. >>it's dumping heavy rains and whipping up strong winds according to the national hurricane center which is also

our time 7 o'clock that would be 5 ish or so some time around there expected to become a tropical depression remaining that before it becomes kind of a tropical low or subtropical system by the time it gets up to missouri. but again the rain will be heavy along the eastern edge is typical of the systems and that's what's going to be watched as well as locally severe weather. back in the home front we have the continuation of fog as you can see but up against the east bay hills still at this hour. but not over the hills about this over to mount diablo beautiful sunrise making its way. 50's as we can see up here the north bay, the lay who ahead of things that 60 along with oakland, 71 63 going on for livermore and also san jose 60 freeman with 55 san francisco. those winds, let's check them going forward the up tick partially being driven by the heating happening in land, but we can see even up here the north bay, good strong northwesterly wind but can help that fog lifted appoint ray and then we can see down the peninsula to it picks up as well tomorrow we repeat. this is the cooling

coming up a little bit we'll take a look at the forecast going on for the a's. marty all right dave thanks a lot. let's go to the east bay this morning where police in concord are searching for 2 men who shot another man to death. >>it happened late friday night at the motel 6 on clayton road. kron four's gayle ong has the story. >>the man killed has been i find what we don't know is what led to the shooting. the police are looking for these 2 men at 32 year-old adam renfro of brentwood and 40 year-old robert brown of a point in connection to the fatal shooting in concord. >>the shooting happened around 11 15 friday night when officers arrived to the scene at the motel 6 likely in road they found one man identified as or straight or suffering from gunshot wounds, trader was taken to john near medical center in walnut creek where he later died the motel is surrounded by apartment homes and houses neighbors tell me they heard at least 5 gunshots in the night i was in my room and i thought i heard like. >>the trash can kind of like fall. didn't even really

immigrants since the news of the raids broke last week many people have been preparing for the possibility of those raids as well as taking to the streets to demonstrate. kron four's christina joins us live this morning from the us customs border protection building in san francisco. she has more on that christine a. >>why officials have not said when or where these raids will take place but the president does confirmed that they will be play taking place today and they are expected to take place in cities such as san francisco right here along with atlanta denver los angeles as well as new york. now officials say the focus will be on undocumented immigrants who already have court orders to be deported. the raid could last several days the officials here in the bay area said they will not help federal officials in the rate though some city and state of end as well as national leaders have called operation fear mongering and said they will not be cooperating. well the president and his administration insist they are just carrying out the law.

>>we're focused on criminals as much as we it starts on sundays and they're going to take people out they get to bring him back to their countries. >>this is an attempt. to intimidate immigrant and latino communities across the country. these are honest hard working people who are immigrants many of them have u s citizen children. those parents will now be separated from those kids. >>no rapid response networks are set up in cities across the bay area to help undocumented immigrants who are concerned about the upcoming grades and offer legal advice now we actually did get a response from ice. just today talking about these operations and they mentioned that ice actually does not have what they call raids. they are saying that they have conveyed to conduct targeted immigration enforcement in compliance with federal law and agency policy and i want to go ahead and read a response they had for me ice prioritizes the arrest and removal of unlawfully present

when the ice officers showed up at the homes in new york they actually did not. those people know their rights thanks immigration attorneys and activists in new york to parent that and told them what eir rights were and how to search those rights when i showed up at their door they did open the door. when i study how to go up. they were not able to take books. >>and so what are to go over some of the rights that undocumented immigrants do have should an ice officer appear at their front door. >>one thing that people understand that not regardless of their immigration status. do you have. right under the us constitution. they have rights to due process. they have great and to be heard. they also have rights under international human rights law and under our immigration and nationality act. case where

you have immigration officials showing up at your door. you do not have that opened the door. just as if you know law enforcement shows up at your house. because they consider you for not and you have rights. though not this going on immigration officials to shut them down. that war it has to be signed by up federal judge that mean percent with their names tell her leave it there. about more you do opened the door and the way you're going to get men's asked him to slide under the door. starting your rights right there. and then. >>you know if they do have. then you know how open the door you can still have the right to remain silent. you don't have to talk. you don't have to show them any of your

when his foot slipped off the brake and on to the accelerator and that sent his van into a cvs pharmacy. this raga the vehicle crashed into the front of the cvs store at 5 a team are on the road shortly before 1 o'clock saturday afternoon. officials say a number of people were inside the store at the time and they suffered minor injuries. one person was sent to the hospital. the driver and the passenger in the van were not injured. police say don't believe that drugs or alcohol caused the wreck. a school superintendent near fresno is offering no apologies about a live shooter drill that he held his school. some parents say that it simply was too realistic superintendent had a janitor wear a mask and carry a fake gun while banging on classroom doors, someone said the drill could end up trauma something traumatizing the children but the superintendent says he's sily trying to save lives. kim copper is a teacher there. she says are 22 year career. she's never seen anything like this. >>i had one boy who was a he

all part of a bank robbery plot that happened in wisconsin read lemoyne has the details of the family's ordeal. >>on friday june 28th, the branch manager at wells fargo closed up this racine bank for the night picking up her children ages 2, 5, and drove home to can osha. the woman says 2 men approached her at home and forced her and the kids into the back seat over 2008 chevy impala the suspect allegedly drove the 3 victims to milwaukee holding what police would later describe as a fake gun to the woman's head. investigators say the suspect held the family in a basement near 37th in concordia and plotted to rob the bank 23 year-old done terry us rob 19 year-old william howell 19 year-old george pearson robin 18 year-old lamar will all face multiple charges. while kidnapped the woman and the children were given a bucket to use to go to the bathroom and happy meals from mcdonald's to eat. the suspect took all 3 back to the bank early in the morning and at

gunpoint demanded that the woman let them in. police say the suspects eventually had her disabled the alarm and entered the volt stuffing bags full of cash. the suspects allegedly took off in the woman's vehicle. the woman and the children were left at the bank later that morning police say the suspects torch the woman's car. it burned the side of this garage raj the homeowner declined to speak with us on camera but says the intense flames will come off. the suspects all were eventually arrested. thanks to surveillance video. well that was brad lemoyne reporting now all 4 of the suspects have been charged with bank robbery and kidnapping. >>having is it happening today all lanes of concord boulevard are set to reopen after being closed for a couple of days. they were closed as crews removed a crane that was used in the construction of an apartment complex that burned down last year. the fire broke out back in april
