trend that we're going to see around the bay area and it's going to last into why your work week as well, but right now we do have to get through all the great skes on the fog out there and the marine layer, a quite thick this morning. this is our camera on top of the berkeley hills overlooking the city spread there, but you can see just how great is how fog it is in most spots around the bay area and overseeing his ability not the greatest right now, for parts of the east bay zone like oakland like to berkeley right now, hey we're down to just a couple of miles as far as visibility. one mile right here in san francisco and it's a really heavy and to the coast for half moon bay. but again by around 11 o'clock we're going to have almost full clearing for everyone except for just folks if you're going to be heading towards the coast today, so it's going to be absolutely beautiful temperatures out the door right now a little bit cooler of a start than yesterday, but hey it's going to warm up into the afternoon 50's and not too bad, comfortable and mild 60 to oakland, 57, san francisco right now in 61 in san jose.

well, how warm is it going to get in your neighborhood. i'll have that in just a couple of minutes marty sounds great thanks for backups. >>let's get to the news this morning breaking overnight police in san jose are investigating the shooting that killed one person last night. it happened just after a 10 o'clock on story road in san jose and that's where we find kron four's christina tate road this morning. she has the latest for us, christina. >>you see here live in this parking lot off of kean's as well as story roads here in san jose someplace and a lot of people are going to be frequenting later today on their shopping excursions on this sunday but late into the night, this was a crime scene investigation. one man found dead here you can see on the map with map exactly where these cross streets are right very active here in the middle of town and now we're going to show you some video you can see investigators working deep into the night they said they responded 10 30 last night here to this main intersection into the shopping center right

near the target and in this case they were working into the night trying to find what happened one man having bullet wounds in hand when they arrived on scene he was transported over to the hospital an adult male. that is where he was later pronounced dead. right now they're still investigating what led up to this information not available yet but we're going to make sure that we continue to reach out to police officers this morning to try to have an update for you also the man's identity and age not released yet, but again this of when from atia we're going continue to look for you. but right now san jose police department is asking if you know anything about what happened last night around 10 30 on the same intersection to please go ahead and call investigators and san jose police department they say also you are able to remain anonymous for now reporting live in san jose christina teatro kron 4 news all right christina thanks for that report from san jose will see in about an hour with an update. >>other news this morning breaking overnight 4 people were injured in a shooting late saturday night in san francisco's western addition. it happened about 11 30 at the intersection of fillmore and street and golden gate avenue.

all 4 victims were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries. police have not yet made any arrests and there's no word on a motive just yet. now to the south bay, a home security camera captured a man breaking into a home and stealing several valuable items. but what you don't see in this shot is that the homeowners in the other room taking a shower at the time. she told kron four's dan thorn that she had no idea that anyone was in her house until she saw the footage. >>home security video shows a thief lurking in the san jose home he throws in a hoodie that isn't his but this stealing didn't stop there. he also made off with more than $20,000 worth of jewelry. >>it's really priceless. evelyn cruises says this happened around 10 o'clock wednesday morning. well the thief was prowling around the house. she was in the shower just feet away the burglar swiped a couple of jewelry boxes right off of her dresser. >>i have a really really scared because. what if i went

he's devastated because he got this hat at the warriors last game at oracle arena >>somebody find that pat we on it for me and making. thank you. >>reporting in san jose dan thorn kron 4 news. and we're learning more about the apparent suicide of accused sex-trafficking are jeffrey epstein, there are still a lot of questions surround the incident, however, and attorney general william barr's ordering a federal investigation now we first brought you this story is breaking news yesterday here on kron 4 news weekend. guards found epstein's body inside his manhattan jail cell early saturday morning in new york in just weeks after being taken off suicide watch. they say the 66 year-old millionaire hanged himself. epstein had bee a in jail in manhattan since his arrest last month. he pleaded not guilty to federal sex-trafficking charges of girls as young as 14 years old. several that seems accusers have released statements since the news of

lot of sunshine. i'll break it down neighborhood by neighborhood coming up in just a bit marty sounds great rebecca, thanks a lot. >>the big story this morning police arrested at least 2 people for making threats against at least 3 wal-mart locations this weekend. those stores are in florida texas and in missouri, florida authorities arrested 26 year-old richard clayton saying that he threatened to kill or harm people. he allegedly made a threat on facebook saying quote 3 more days of probation left and i get my a r 15 back don't go to walmart next week. in texas police say they arrested a man for a threat against a walmart in harlingen and police in kansas city say kansas city missouri say that they're working with the fbi to verify information about threats against a local wal-mart posted on reddit the threats and arrests come after a gunman killed those 22 people in a mass shooting and that el paso at a wal-mart last weekend. bring it back home

60's along a the coast like al granada 68 topping out at 69 possibly in half moon bay, so definitely a difference. what we saw yesterday look at all these low 70's that i'm tracking through south san francisco, san bruno at 71 degrees 79 if you're going to be in burlingame later on this afternoon. and we're going to start to see the 80's as we move a further along the peninsula. san carlos and redwood city a high of 82 expected what side you're going to be a toasty 87 today palo alto 80 degrees and then the south bay we're going to see it's a very warm here and especially in morgan look at that 87 near nothing do that we're expecting downtown san jose 84 and milpitas 84. cupertino you're going to be at 84 this afternoon as well and look at that as we move further inland double in pleasanton livermore upper 80's expected today with a high of 87 and around the bay along the bay communities hayward and union city both

few minutes marty okay, rebecca seen a couple minutes. >>breaking overnight police in san jose are investigating a shooting that killed one person last night. it happened just after 10 o'clock on story road and that's where we find kron four's christina tape cho this morning with the latest christina. >>now as you can see here behind me the shopping center now open for business and ready for a busy day of sunday shoppers but this is where last night investigators were looking into a deadly shooting going to take a look at this map this is where they say it happened near a shopping center off of a story in king's road here in san jose. now investigators working late into the night they say just before 10:00pm officers responded to shots fired finding a man suffering from gunshot wounds, the injured man taken to the hospital where he later died. according to police the victim reportedly crash in the shopping center parking lot after the shooting. the driver was in a red sedan which was later towed from the scene with front damage to the wheel. it's unclear why this
