what we're kind of contending with today and other should clear out in some inland valleys, however around the bay, some of those low level moisture we'll keep some of these bay clouds hanging around here is the shot from u c berkeley, still lit up a little bit on the east bay shoreline as notice but that fog converting into some scattered cloud cover still remaining and his cool onshore. wind remains as you can see the numbers are pretty much in the single digits or calm conditions with that scattered clouds filtering in from the north as you will notice and tomorrow looks to be a little bit more sunny but this all adds up to cooler temperatures as well that's for today, slightly warmer tomorrow but we back at those 80's again until we get into early next week. they are temperatures for now we're in the lower 50's across most the perimeter of the base some chilly 40's down in the southern peninsula. 40's also up to the north bay antioch checking at 52 east bay temperatures a little warmer this morning than yesterday little cooler appear moran and sonoma counties and a bit cooler in portions of the peninsula. so we'll break it down like this morning,

scattered clouds but inland better clearing temperatures in the 60's jumping into the 70's by early afternoon with some scattered clouds remaining coming up a closer inspection of the forecast noel. thanks dave. >>breaking news out of the north bay where santa rosa police are looking for the person that shot at a group of men on the new hall bike path, none of the men were actually hit that one bullet did go through nearby residents it happened around 6 30 last night the suspect ran away before police arrived and one neighbor said he pulled out the gun or you pulled the gun out on them and threaten them as he ran away. also in the north bay, a homicide. gatian under way after a man's body was found in china camp state park. the body was discovered around 8 o'clock friday morning. investigators first called it a suspicious death and then launched a homicide investigation. kron four's gayle ong has the latest. >>it's still unclear how the man died. the marine county sheriff's office are leading this investigation. crime

scene investigators blocked off north san pedro road near the me walk trail in china camp state park after a body was discovered off the road upon arrival deputies located a deceased a male subject. >>regular hikers say this is unusual i'm just really surprised it's this is a place for. >>people to relax and recharge and it just seems like a. you know the great outdoors don't expected a place like china camp. >>which we've really seen any kind of action or accident or incident deputies say around 8 in the morning, a driver found the body of a man believed to be in his 20's or 30's off the side of the road initially was this is suspicious death investigation and we are now investigating this as a homicide. this area falls under the jurisdiction of california state parks who has asked the marine county sheriff's office to leave the investigation hiking trails were closed off as deputies combed the area for evidence. >>hoping neighbors can help we are asking though that any residents that live on or san pedro or points and pager

road. >>with video surveillance cameras that face the main roadways to contact us that we can take a look at their video surveiylance footage as part of our investigation. >>the name of the victim is not being released at this time, reporting in sandra fell gayle, ong kron 4 news. >>meanwhile santa rosa police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed during a 2 car accident. investigators say that crash happened yesterday afternoon near cleveland avenue and state farm drive. first responders arrived to find one of the cars have collided with a building on cleveland avenue second car still in the roadway with some minor damage. police say the car that hit the building struck a pedestrian on the sidewalk killing them. police say both drivers involved are cooperating with the investigation. they don't believe alcohol was a factor in the crash. for now now where police say this man who works at an after-school program raped a 16 year-old girl officers arrested the 22 year-old on thursday after meeting with the victim at an

look at our shop from u c berkeley and there you can see the east bay shoreline kind of waiting for the sun to light things up we are getting some rays light though appearing on through some of those coastal clouds or they clouds that we're going to kind of have lingering too much of the day today bay bridge shot here we have at the east bay hills off towards the distance as you will notice here a kind of a nice start to the day although will be a bit on the cool side still remaining, we've got 50's all over the east bay just about everywhere there you can see lower 50's remain both in london, it also on the east bay shoreline peninsula has some chilly 40's now 55 san francisco with 40's up there covering the north bay shot from seoul showing how far those clouds are penetrating off to the even the east bay. they but they thaw going on here mostly sunny as what we have in london going on. now a cool 70's rule both from and me not to run, but for the inland areas and around the bay, so we don't have the decoupling of temperatures occurring with the 80's popping out yet. tomorrow a touch warmer you're going to feel this in those inland valleys with some

clearing and then next week it's not warming early in the week possible fire threat. midweek it's kind of a post it note here there's nothing yet. but this could develop from there from a fire weather watch to a red flag warning and all of that and we certainly don't know that higher coverage area that that would encompass, but again the middle of the week as will know a little bit more would be watching for all of that. here's what's happening. the southeast at still tropical season it's nestor tropical storm. it's basically a rain event you can see through georgia. covering just about all of orida for now in the eye is back out here. it florida panhandle. today we e expect 66 san francisco oakhand 6972, san jose and let's take quick look at the forecast highs today going on. we've got the upper 60's near about 70 and it's only lower to middle 70's for highs and some of those in the valleys up here in the north bay too. the best we can muster with lots of 60's to be had as well again tomorrow a tad warmer we'll take a closer look at that extended forecast coming up at that. well, thanks dave.

portland oregon, it's gone viral. a high school student brought a shot gun to school and intended to kill himself, but the school's security guard and football coach. med with nothing more than a hug managed to avoid tragedy. the coach said he felt a comeback passion for the student. a student who is now 19 pleaded guilty to 2 charges and was sentenced to 3 years of probation, but. thankfully still has his life. the white house is blaming the media for its latest controversy after president trump's acting chief of staff mick mulvaney ad. it'd the administration withheld aid from ukraine to pressure the country to investigate democrats in the run-up to the 2016 election now he is the first white house official to publicly acknowledge that this happened. now president trump is dodging questions about mulvaney and instead delving into an extended rant and refusing to take any more questions about the controversial confession.

upper 60's were look for down to the south some 70's popping, 72 palo alto redwood city at 72, mountain dew, chilly down here the south bay. there we start to see some mid 70's work like morgan hill 72 for a san jose santa clara 72 in cupertino checks in at 72 as well. got those upper 60's still hanging around the east bay shoreline inland. sure there some 70's but lower 70's tri vaey 72. pleasanton livermore 73 for walnut creek 75 concord and back to 70's and some chilly 60's to be had here 67 berkeley 69 meanwhile for open and jumping up to the north bay 71 benicia valais whoa 72 for napa and looks like santa rosa checks and 74 mid to lower 70's down south. chile, 60's and 50's even stinson beach of 58 today watch those coastal clouds lingering maybe little sprinkle to perhaps well we get ourselves into some of the 80's we get into early next week but we're watching tuesday wednesday thursday, offshore wind start cooking here and that may pose
