mountain snows smartyounds od dave. thank you. >>very busy morning on bay area highways breaking this morning, san je firefighters and the chp on the scene of a about 4 o'clock thimorning d about 4 10 this morning on northbound highway one oh one of the 80 connector. investigators say 6 people were transported to the hospital fro the scene one was deared dead at the scene the cause of the crash is unknown this morning. no word on when that highway will be reopened. and in san francisco the 25th streetff ramp from interstate 2.80 south is blocked after a crash this morning. a coroner has been lled to the scene the chp and caltransave responded but have not given an estimate on when at ramp will be reoped the chp says they first pulled the car over for running red light and while a dety was approaching the car that driver then took off a short time later they got a report of a crash someone lane in the roadway about 4 50 this

turned away overnight on eastbound i 80 a gold run about an hour from lake tahoe. the chpas forced to close the highway there because of multiple spinouts that went for over 12 hours yesterday. they did reopen the interstate about 5 o'clock this morning. but the headache of traveling home continueas more wind and snow rain expected today for much of the week we're taking a live look at an open i 80 westbound at king veil things moving along pretty well there, but you see a lot of snow on the ground. national weather service says a new storms expected to bring even more snow that 5,000 feet today in the sierra. take a look at what it looked like yesterday on i 80 is the traffic was moving very slowly. in fact squaw valley a posted on facebook that they're strongly recommending that you do not attempt to travel out of the sea air and the tahoe region until tomorrow morning at the earliest because of the weather conditions. it's bringing back closer to home. we're dealing with a little bit of a break in the rain with a look at that shot from a central camp, the golden gate bridge, you know pretty
