>>yes, well it's going to be another wet day for us, but the amount of rain that we're going to see today definitely not as much as what we saw yesterday and the day our satellite and radar as you can see still getting scammed 3rd rain throughout the bay area. to the east to bear in this is where picking up right now we see light showers out in the east bay and along the coast here half moon bay. and we do see some moderate rain out here in the south bay and this cell is actually heading to the east so sunnyvale if you're out there you will see some showers within these next at 10 to 15 minutes. i got some rain totals for the storm system that hit yesterday afternoon and throughout the night here. some places in sonoma county actually saw 8 teen inches of rain accumulating of course we had a lot of flooding out in san francisco santa rosa close to 8 inches. have any major

flooding in any of our rivers or creeks. i did see some minor flooding though out in green valley creek, this is in sonoma county. and it went over the flood stage during the storm yesterday but it has since gone below the flood level. so i just me flooding out there. nothing major our wind conditions right now looking very light big change from what we saw yesterday when have that wind advisory, but we don't have any advisories or warnings right now today or tomorrow, right now we're in the 50's 55 in alameda 54 out in burke. mild start to the day temperatures today a little low. >>more than what we saw yesterday. let you know we can expect for the upcoming workweek in just a bit. >>erica, thank you breaking overnight to homicide investigations are underway in the east bay. the more recent

one happened around midnight last night hayward police officers were called to the 27,000 block of belvedere court after getting reports of shots fired. when they arrived located a man suffering from gunshot wounds. paramedics responded, but the man did die at the scene. this is hayward's 4th homicide of 20 19 and the second within the last 24 hours. yesterday hayward police also responded to shots fired in the area of ahmed or way a new low street. at around 4 45 yesterday afternoon. found the man suffering from gunshot wounds paramedics paramedics rather pronounced him dead at the scene and it's important to note that the 2 homicides are not related. >>of 20 accidents. they are driving around quite a bit. >>heavy rain created some dangerous and in at least one case deadly conditions out on the roads yesterday. kron four's dan thorn was in the east bay where the strong storm made it tough on the roads.

>>heavy downpours 4th traffic along highway, 24 between lafayette and orinda to be slow and go and for good reason. an accident possibly caused by slick roads killed 3 people early saturday morning this nissan versa veered off of 24 westbound east of camino pablo and slammed into a tree. this scene was one of many along bay area freeways. hydroplaning was a big possibility for drivers as water filled up along the sides of the road. a clogged drain caused a pool of water at the base of exit 11 eastbound entering lafayette. without any place to go people took the risk and drove their cars through the water. >>it was just another example of the white knuckle conditions because of the heavy rain.

happened yesterday afternoon in the area of guerneville in fulton row, it's the object officers thought i was a rifle turned out to be a black umbrella that officer fired 3 rounds from his gun but none of the shots hit the suspect. after a brief chase the suspect was caught and then taken into custody. also in sonoma county runner park police are looking for this man. authorities say the man pictured robbed the patel co credit union and rohnert park. police say he entered the bank and then approached one of the tellers he produced a note demanding cash but did not mention having a weapon. the male was given an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled the bank the investigation into the robbery and the identity of the suspect is ongoing. if you think you recognize him please contact run our police. on the kron 40's weekend investigators are still figuring out if the gunmen and friday's naval be shooting in florida. motives

district. we first brought you the story yesterday on the kron 4 news weekend. it all started around 8.30 yesterday morning when officers responded to what's being called. 23th in cap streets in the mission district when officers approached the suspect police say the suspect assaulted them with a weapon. that's when officers opened fire. some witnesses say they heard at least 8 gunshots. both the suspect and one of the officers were taken to the hospital. >>an investigation like this. we try to gather as much evidence as possible. from video surveillance, especially in the area. >>the officer suffered non life threatening injuries while the suspect's injuries are life threatening. as apd says the investigation is ongoing.
