folsom and i'm james fletcher you can see the video there on the screen wildfire burning this morning in santa clara county near lake anderson that fire broke out about midnight and it looks like it was part is fired by about fireworks but right now they're just worried about putting out the flames covers rain rv is live with the details rana. >>that's right i switch locations just you can see that fire all the way down the hill you can see and smell the smoke from miles away but let's show you that image from overnight this was something to see you can see it from the freeway driving into town look at that fire as it lights up the hillside there still trying to get a handle on that fire right now. now again it broke out around midnight. they still have the east don road closed off this is now at a 100 acres as this fire continues to burn in strength. now this the hard road closure on easton road prior to anderson lake. so they're still asking people in the area to avoid that. now again

of that fire still under investigation but daryn james, you heard them say they heard fireworks around 10 o'clock in the evening around midnight is when they said that fire broke out in the area so as that investigation continues they still have not ruled out the possibility of it being caused by fireworks on other thing why people are waiting to be able to go back into their homes but they're also a lot of the animals in the area on the hillside are displaced i saw gear in the middle of the street in a ducks and other wildlife in the middle of the street obviously not where they would normally be. so again this fire has displaced some people as well as some animals as they continue to try to get it put out for now reporting here in santa clara county reyna harvey kron 4 news all right and she's in santa clara county contra costa county and over 50 fires more than 60 fires actually overnight near not surprising out their cocoa county was hot. we were talking. >>temperatures in the low to mid-nineties for some what about today, let's get a check of the forecast john trouble

keeping an eye on that john yeah, obviously all those fireworks last night to it's hot it is dry at least it is calm right now you can see we're arena was standing there on the peninsula didn't look at there's a whole lot of wind and that's what my sensors are reporting 2 so that is good news. the bad news is temperatures going to be rising yet again today your view outside from berkeley, the east bay hills right here going to be under some sweltering heat this afternoon as well as winds increasing now right now we're calm but look at where wind speeds are heading later in the day today, especially after 04:00pm to 05:00pm when winds will begin to gust as high as 20 to 30 miles per hour for coastal north bay and east bay hill side so that is something to factor in when you're talking about fire danger. also how dry it's going to be this afternoon humidity falling in our inland areas, down low as 15% and some really dry air. so of course fire danger the u.s. remains high today before a cool down for the rest of the week that is actually going to help us out in that regard. 60's and 70's for your current temperatures at least for most
