>>the year 2020 now has another dubious honor scientists in europe say it was the 6th hottest year on record. the eu's climate change services, global temperatures were just over one degree warmer than average. between 1981 in 2010. scientists say that pushed the planet closer to a temperature threshold that they say would lead to more extreme natural disasters and in 2010 we saw devastating wildfires in australia, florida. and of course here on the west coast. the year also brought more destructive hurricanes as well. you talk about the weather with dave's things much more mild here right now anyway, dave. >>yeah we're doing okay in the 50's and the 60's expected, you know for those highs this week ahead will not repeat. the last week we had a couple those opportunities for seeing some showers just come together at least in the forecast models we're looking at for this week ahead, let's gander what we've got right now in terms the satellite picture we're getting a little break in some of the cloud cover but upstream we're going

afternoon an eventful as we go into monday, but there is yet a new system by tuesday we'll show that in the long range forecast models but by tuesday. a new system. unfortunately we will be a southern edge of all of the systems that march on through so here's the game plan for the week ahead today we got early sun afternoon clouds, cool with upper 50's lower 60's at work here then for early part of the week, it's you know clouds and coastal sprinkle in all of that, but it really doesn't spread over the wider bay cool was still lower 60's at work here then we get to later in the week and will be a sun clouds mixed or minor warming we actually get to the upper 60's as we finish off the week and we'll get little drier with all of that too we're keeping the scattered clouds in our forecalt here at 59 san francisco, a touch warmer to the south san jose at 6264 oakland, everybody noting that afternoon cloud cover building. although i think in the south bay that will be later and less intrusive. highs forecast today lot of 50's on the board here a little bit more than yesterday
