although that will change by the time we get to this afternoon and evening, however, and particularly during the overnight hours, here's a shot from timber on here. we don't see much the way of that fog developing in and around the bay here going on but clear skies aloft. temperatures however in this is important as we talk for the next couple of nights in windshield areas will be a little chilly like the bottle with 36 but napa 4241 santa rosa, and we got those 50's extending off to the delta. 46 meanwhile 4 san jose and a little warmer this morning. it is up there around the delta and up in the north a little cooler with a single digits to be found as a contrast to yesterday around the water's edge not much the way of high cloudiness either again mostly sunny will cover us. do want to see though it's also covering us those gusty winds the. the darker shade a color shun that's a high wind watch solano county everybody else in a wind advisory will have more details about just a bit 62 expected by 11 by 2 we're talking 70 and again some

areas may reach up to his close to the middle 70's this afternoon another spring day we'll have more details on that just a bit marty all right dave thanks a lot. let's get right to our top story this morning we're 3 days away from the inauguration of president elect joe biden law enforcement officials are working around the clock to try and tighten up security in washington d c and police made a disturbing arrest yesterday in that emphasizes that there are people thinking about causing violence at the swearing-in ceremony, brian entin has more on the increase in security that has turned the nation's capital into a heavily fortified fortress. >>unprecedented security in washington dc capitol police say the city has never been shut down quite like this before everything around the capitol is closed the fence erected around the capital now has barbed wire on it thousands of national guard troops continue to arrive getting their weapons right outside the capitol building rebuilding to 21,000 our posture is aggressive. >>and stay that way through

the inauguration and capitol police have already made one disturbing arrest leading up to the inauguration. police arresting 31 year-old wesley allen buehler of virginia. they say he was stopped at a security checkpoint with an unauthorized inauguration, credential and officers found a gun and more than 500 rounds of ammunition in his truck. st stretching all the way from the capitol building to the white house are shut down and the national mall is closed to the public. look at this google map and you can see just how extensive the road closures are many businesses boarded up their windows as the fbi warns of possible threats. authorities will allow protests during the inauguration in designated areas and protesters will be screened before they are allowed to enter security is even tight for inbound washington dc flights homeland security has dogs sniffing all carry on bags before boarding. the national guard troops are coming to dc from all over the country this has nothing to do with politics. >>this has everything to do

with protecting our constitution our democracy the american way of life i'm brian its report. >>and it's a similar scene in sacramento in every state capital across the country. a state leaders say they will aggressively prosecute anyone who commits a crime. paulson guy has more on that. >>it's not the fight one wants to see a plywood covered some portions of downtown sacramento. moore went up as crews finished up near l and 10th. it's all in response to what could happen over the next week but not all businesses are taking the same course andrew harrison works near the capital says he isn't worried the crowds will damage any businesses there's a lot of people they might physically still are but i don't see why they would come. >>to the business side. i think other focuses on that building the owner of good bottle isn't taking any chances most shocking the surprising. >>saying that's ever happened. i think in my lifetime. owner christopher sinclair says he will close up its business and

in the city's tenderloin neighborhood. >>it happened shortly before 10 o'clock last night at eddy and taylor streets all 5 people who were shot were taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. police as of now do not have a description of the shooter or shooters. and we're learning new details about a man accused of trying to make a bomb in san francisco chemicals so that were used to make explosives were found at candlestick rv park and that prompted dozens of people to evacuate. kron four's dan thorn now with the latest on the investigation. >>fbi agents in san francisco police officers investigate after a man living at the candlestick rv park is accused of trying to build a bomb the chemicals used to make explosives were discovered in the residents of 37 year-old kyle matthew folsom, police say they did not know why folsom was doing this, but he appears to have been acting on his own close to a 100 residents of the rv park had to be evacuated friday night, the red cross supplying

>>in the east bay workers and seniors living at an assisted living facility in fremont are receiving their covid-19 vaccinations so far nearly 250 residents and staff got their first dose of the vaccine at the age is living assisted living facility. they're pfizer vaccine doses were administered through cvs pharmacy, general manager at the facility says that most of the seniors did not question the science behind the vaccine and they were more than ready to roll up their sleeves including 94 year-old viola sellable. >>i feel good about it. i feel very good receiving it now. and i just wish that everybody else. get it at same time that it's an impossibly as far as actually getting the shot itself. it was getting a flu shot.

drive-thru vaccination site in an effort to speed up the vaccine rollout kron four's gayle ong has more now from lafayette. >>it was the first day of the senior vaccination clinic here at stanley middle school in lafayette and so far no complaints at least half of those who registered received their first shot as the state experiences, a slow rollout of the covid-19 vaccine. it was a fast one in lafayette saturday. i was anticipating a nightmare. >>given all the news that we've seen on tv. this is so well organized i don't understand how it could be so glitch free doctor rebecca parish would comprehensive health in walnut creek managed to get 500 doses of the pfizer vaccine from contra costa county. >>and with the help from the city of lafayette local nonprofits and the medical community those 65 and older were able to get vaccinated i'm really grateful for the coming together to make this happen. it's been i think it's given everybody a way forward in a little bit of help which

was mean yeah you're going to is this still january i we do have some of those offshore winds very typical this time of year as well, good news is we did have some rain not a whole lot. we've had some rain to help take out the direct fire concerned there's no fire weather watch talk or red flag warning stuff, however they're going to be strong offshore winds and perhaps want to watch out for some property damage or lease born around trash cans and that sort of thing, here's a half moon bay shot for you as a lots of sunshine to get the day started we have another day just like yesterday. actually a little chillier in some areas that the windshield and areas because temperatures are a humidity levels have dropped off. we have a little low that speaks in towards our east. but the big issue is all the systems of the pacific forget about it they're kind of timed out now 39 for napa 41 graduate back up to the 40's 40 santa rosa, lot of 40's and 50's off to the east bay 46 meanwhile for san jose back to the winds though here we go for today, we'll call just a breezy little bit breezy going on for today, but it's tonight it starts to get windy. this

takes us all the way to monday morning. she see the shift out of the northeast and even builds by that spreads out to all of the bay. this is approaching around the peak of the first wave as you will notice good coverage area that's why everybody's in that. wind advisory except solano county and then we go all the way up to the second wave i haven't frozen here is this is the second wave building puts us at about 6.30 tuesday morning. that's why we have the wind advisory that's all the way until tuesday evening. there you can see winds sustained in the 30's and even some cases approaching 40's now course in the higher elevations. you're going to feel heavier than that like mount diablo obviously about hamilton up to the north bay as well now let's check out the moisture levels with all of this as we go forward use all that green, it's typical run the delta that's gone that's later today, ok that's a given or in the day temps of drop off how's the recover tomorrow that set up 30's you can see up there well up north meanwhile 50's to the east bay that's a start the day so we already have some dry air settle in here. obviously with
