little break from the rain to our at live shot there from half moon bay seeing the sun coming out there is a little bit the way some rain up north shore. but that will probably break out for a breakout by the time we approach around the noon hour again, half moon bay checking that out swinging to sfo pretty good start here been seeing lots of sun going on this morning actually more than it looks like from the satellite picture little messy one on that the bulk of the rain is far up to the north and this is the system we're talking about early next week. and most of the week is going to be relatively uneventful but it's the first couple of days to get through it that's going to be unsettled and kind of back to what we've had 45 santa rosa 48 for 51 san francisco with oakland 53 lot of 40's 50's going on temperatures for january not too bad to start off because of all that cloud cover keeping temperatures somewhat controlled so we watch this in terms of the short zone forecast there's kind of clearing out little bit. we'll say variable clouds on balance kind of covering everybody in all time periods here then by monday morning not off to a bad start there. sunshine.
7:45 am
then here comes this line of rain here pretty consistent with the rain line by 05:00am on tuesday we're still negotiating through some of it with some of the heavier squalls down to the south in monterey bay, some leftover for the bay area we want ultimately probably until tuesday afternoon with all of that. rainfall totals we've advanced this from monday's hit. and it looks like by the time to tuesday morning and the rain is still not done at that point we're getting close to half of an inch for san francisco. numbers a little higher up in the north and the south bay, not as pronounced over the santa cruz mountains will get hit harder in the rain at this point is still continuing down south so the wide perspective or thing here is the traffic early into the week and then after that skews me everything's being repelled a way for the remainder of the week and even into next weekend, it looks like perhaps into the following week we might see some more action. reports here snow coming tuesday to be added to that by wednesday things start to clear out our 4 zone forecast
