(audience applauding) - this is my new pasta and beyond, and i'm so excited. and you should be too because, now, you can make spaghetti, fettuccine, linguini, angel hair, penne, tagliatelle, lasagna noodles, and even udon just as good as i can make it, whether it's in my restaurant or at home. (audience applauding) - all you have to do is fill your measuring cups to the line. they're clearly marked. you're not having to guess how much liquid and how much flour. we take all the guesswork out of it for you. i've got my wet ingredients, which is two eggs and a little bit of water- - yep, right up to the line. - filled up to line. this is so easy. - and since we're making a double batch, we're going to hit it twice. - all right, so i'm going to slowly pour in my wet ingredients. - this is so easy, folks. now you can make a pound of pasta in the same time it takes to boil this water. so while that's happening, i'm going to make a little shrimp dish with some olive oil.
7:01 am
so now we're going to start building the flavor with some garlic, a little bit of green onion, a little bit of parsley, and lemon zest. - this is beautiful. - [emeril] so now we're going to let that cook. - oh, my gosh, look. we've already got pasta coming out. - [emeril] exactly. - i am mind blown, chef, that i'm going to be able to make pasta. we're going to be eating pasta for the next month. - well, america's going to be able to make pasta. - that's right. (audience applauding) - i'm going to glaze this with some white wine, adding another layer of flavor. let me hand you a cutter. - [kimberley] are you ready? you just cut it. - [emeril] good job. - this is so fun. (laughs) so the average box pasta... - it's 10 to 12 minutes at least. this is going to take less than three minutes, no more than three minutes. i'm going to add a little bit of crushed red pepper for the heat. and now i've added just a little bit of butter into our sauce with the shrimp. we're going to bring it here. - right into the pan. - and don't worry about a little bit of extra water.
7:02 am
it's good, right from the pot, right into the pan. and then what we're going to do now is we're going to take our dish, look at this. in a restaurant, this dish would be about $20, maybe even more. what i want folks to know at home, this is eight servings here for $10. (audience applauding) i can't wait. - mm, mm, mm. - incredible - chef, it's a clear difference between homemade and boxed pasta, delicious. (audience applauding) - did i tell you that this is also a pro-grade slow juicer? what we're going to do is just take the spinach, and we're going to take our press. all natural, look at that. - [kimberley] look at that, that's great. and look at that color. and now we've got this beautiful spinach juice that we're going to use to make spinach tagliatelle? - yes, you're going to make spinach pasta.
7:03 am
it's going to be beautiful too. while you're doing that, i'm going to come over here, and we're going to start with the hard vegetables first. so we're going to start with the yellow squash and the zucchini, and the asparagus, which are firm as well. - i just want to let people at home, if you're wondering, this pasta is so delicate and so perfect. (audience applauding) - i'm going to add the red pepper. i'm going to add the onion, the carrot, my garlic. - [kimberley] so many beautiful colors. - look at it coming out too. it's extruding just beautifully. and i'm going to take this lid off for you. - [kimberley] here we go. - [emeril] right into there for our pasta primavera. - all this beautiful homemade pasta, right into the water. - and we'll let it cook. meanwhile here, i'm going to add the tomatoes. and then last, the peas. look at that. it's going to be so delicious, healthy, fresh.
7:04 am
we're going to check on our pasta. and what i'm going to do is, i'm going to just kind of bring my pan here. look at this, folks, look at this. - [kimberley] that looks delicious. - sure does. now what i'm going to do is, i'm going to slide this back over here, add a little bit of butter just to finish our sauce. when you're ready... - look at that, that is gorgeous. - when you're ready, we're going to take our pasta primavera. does that not look incredible? just add a little bit of cheese to finish it. and there you have it, folks. - all right, here we go. i'm going to get a little, get some veggies. mm. - so fresh, the vegetables, the homemade pasta, the simplicity of this dish. this huge meal's under $10, and to feed your whole family. - you cannot beat homemade pasta, period. (audience applauding)
7:05 am
- so this is our semolina, homemade semolina pasta. - look at this. we have beautiful lasagna noodles with the press of a button. - let me tell you something. that semolina is a munch heartier flour, so it sucks up the sauce just ever so good. - we don't have to boil. you're just going to make it, put it right on your lasagna dish, and it's going to cook right in the oven. - this is about 350, 360 degrees. so i'm going to take mine out, and we're going to put yours in. - [kimberley] beautiful. - [emeril] doesn't that look amazing? - [kimberley] that looks delicious. - sure does. and there you have it, our semolina lasagna. - i'm really thrilled that all these recipes are in the book, and that i can make this beautiful, delicious, from-scratch homemade pasta dish in my kitchen. (audience applauding) - emeril lagasse here for my new pasta and beyond. - [announcer] don't spend hours mixing your dough,
7:06 am
then kneading it, rolling it out, and feeding it through a manual pasta maker. - now you can make hundreds of different kinds of pastas, just as good as i can. - [announcer] add your flour, add your wet ingredients, and instantly start to make fresh pasta. the secret is the super-powerful motor that drives the mixing bar to knead and extrude evenly mixed dough. with eight shaping discs, it means you can make any fresh pasta you like: spaghetti, fettuccine, linguini, angel hair. add vegetable juice to make beet juice penne, spinach juice tagliatelle, and you can add fresh herbs right into your dough. make fresh lasagna noodles for an ooey-gooey homemade favorite, and use the same noodles to make ravioli and dumplings. make fresh chicken soup noodles, udon for soups and stir fry, and fresh, healthier ramen. make your pasta with your favorite flour. make gluten free elbows for mac and cheese the kids will love.
7:07 am
don't spend a fortune for fresh pasta from the store. you can make an entire pound, that's eight servings, for only 54 cents. and here's the best part. it cooks 70% faster than pasta in a box. and you can freeze it. when you want to cook it, in just minutes, it will taste just as fresh as the day you made it. and there's smart storage built in for all of your shaping discs. you want more? it's also a pro-grade juicer. juice hard vegetables and fruit in delicious combinations. fast juicers leave more juice in the pulp. look how wet theirs is compared to ours and how much more juice is left in our glass. and there's more. it's also a frozen fruit dessert maker transform frozen fruit into frozen fruit soft serve, sorbet, gelato, and frozen yogurt. and cleanup is a breeze. all of the pieces are dishwasher safe. look, other pasta makers sell for over $300 and only make pasta.
7:08 am
but you won't pay $300. now you can get the pasta and beyond, eight shaping discs, two measuring cups for dry and wet ingredients, and the pasta pro cutter for only four payments of $49.99. - i'm also going to give you two new recipe books, a $40 value, free. book number one includes my favorite pasta recipes for fettuccine nero, lamb ragu, and my famous spaghetti and meatballs. it even includes a whole section on different pasta doughs, like whole wheat and gluten free. book number two is filled with juice recipes like cucumber grapefruit spritz and watermelon mint cooler. you can make frozen fruit soft serve, healthy versions of your favorite ice cream like rocky road with half the calories. and this deal gets even better. order right now, and i'll even ship it to you free. and i'm still not done. i'm going to include the pro-grade juicer and frozen fruit dessert attachment. just pay a separate fee.
