>> 7.15 here on this sunday morning. and down in los angeles, evacuations are still in place this morning as fire crews try to get the upper hand on a massive brush fire. the palisades fire has already scorched nearly 800 acres more than 100 firefighters are said to be on scene. officials say onshore winds are helping to fuel the flames. crews are battling the fire from the air as well because the terrain is pretty tough for the crews to get to. we're going continue to monitor this from los angeles will bring you updates throughout the newscast. i know that last week we had a lot of little fires pop up up here in the bay area.
7:16 am
thankfully our fire crews were able to get a handle on those as quickly as possible. this moisture we've got in the air, is going to help a little bit right days. >> yeah. and it's a pattern. we're going to really have all week long we would do. i deal situation be a nice, good stratus rain when the winds but next to that having on shore flow pattern and continue to see the traffic in the pacific is much better than having any dry offshore wind. so that's at least better as far as getting some clearing going in here. see some patches of blue trying to sneak in there from that shot from timber on a little bit. that's the plus side of the program. we could see this here off towards the distance. it looks like we're trying to get some mixing going on. the negative side is the vertical profiles. the atmosphere show that a little inversion we're having this just warmer above us, but not that much drier. see what's a lot drier and you get the air starting to mix can mix out. there's a big contrast going on. but this go around. not as much. but we're still holding out for some better clearing today than yesterday. picking for san francisco around the

7:18 am
to some much better heating. that happens inland here and we'll see the same process again for tomorrow looks like we're getting some coastal impact here, which may mean some better clearing to help brawl in that air flow. certain will be in the backside of the low by that point. so morning clouds and even a little drizzle at the coast happening. we'll see that clearing happening in breezy then for this week it looks like cool and mild for the whole week was 70's expected tuesday stands out as an 80 degree race and then by next weekend we're talking about saturday. some minor warming again. but sunday unsettled and maybe another shot of rain happening here. so that's again, some what good news happening. wake up forecast. 60 with some partially clearing san francisco 65 for oakland 73. meanwhile, for san jose. stu see the 70's off towards the east bay. there's checking in at 56 again. bay breeze upper 60's going on. the east bay shoreline with 60 san francisco again will be battling the fog with late day clearing well, look at that. extended forecast for you and
