station. you're watching the kron 00:00am morning news at 7. >> good saturday morning to you. thanks for joining us here on the kron 00:00am morning news. i'm noelle bellow. it is july. 3rd, we've got a lot to get to this morning on this holiday weekend. but we do want to get you off. get you started off by talking about the weather. dave starr standing by with a look a know. well, good morning and good morning, everybody. we are talking about this morning fog yet again, a little coastal drizzle going. it's magic as well. >> but it looks like the same kind of song and dance right on through the holiday weekend and we're living it without dealing with a heat spike

temperatures. actually a bit on the seasonal side maybe a brush above but very close to that. >> still dealing with fog this morning. it's covering up most of our cameras. here's the shot from c berkeley, as you can the shrubbery, the fog has lifted off to. and meanwhile, the golden gate bridge. we have some surface fog along with aloft. you can see the overcast skies and getting some of that coastal in bay drizzle to start temperatures in the mid to upper 50's over most of the geography. some 60's off to antioch and also conquered and this compares to a few degrees behind where we were this time from yesterday. so true to form, we will see clearing by the mid afternoon mid morning excuse me, 72 expected by 11:00am. most areas already mostly sunny and those afternoon high temperatures in the mid to upper 80's. again, we're going to repeat this for sunday and into monday, little bit of a cool off as expected for tuesday. beyond that, though. it looks like another heat spike is in range of our 7 day forecast. we'll get more into that coming up in a bit. well. >> thanks, dave. a vegetation fire did break out late last night near pleasanton smoke

and flames were seen near the cully pay preserve around 10 o'clock last night. that's where we find kron four's camila barco camila. what's the latest? >> yes, i know all that fire was contained. there are no reports of any injuries. but take a look at what firefighters were battling last night. the fire burned 35 acres. this is a look for one of the pg and e wildfire cameras as noel said, it happened in the cully p preserve south of pledging 10 not far from the khalifa preserve golf course. it was reported after 09:00pm and a number of emergency agencies were on scene. the livermore pleasanton 5, the livermore pleasanton fire department, alameda county fire and how far all assisted in this. as i said, there were no reports of structures being threatened or anyone injured. nor were there any reports of evacuations of a nearby neighborhood.

firefighters were able to contain this by one 48 noel crews will be monitoring for any hot just to make sure that it, you know, no more. fires happen later on today. they will be back here later this morning. we're thank you updated and we're hoping to speak to one of those fires later this morning to see what the update is on this fire all back to you. really. you can see it is very dry right behind you in a little bit of wind. and those are both the recipes for disaster. we'll check in with you again. >> in the next hour. >> authorities across the bay area are stepping up their enforcement of illegal fireworks this week. a collaboration between multiple police departments as well as neighborhood watch groups led to more than 8 100 pounds of illegal fireworks being taken off the streets of hayward. police say each of the fireworks you see in this video is worth anywhere from 60 to $190. meanwhile, in oakland, police made some major fireworks bus as well. officers confiscated more than

100 pounds of illegal fireworks just yesterday along with about $38,000 in cash tips from community members led officers to this stash. those fireworks have now been turned over to the oakland fire department so they can be destroyed safely. additional firefighters will be on standby in contra, costa county. this weekend. the fire protection district anticipates a busy couple of nights as kron four's phillipe reports all fireworks and that county are illegal and fire crews are hoping the public gets a message. >> it cannot be repeated enough, even safe and sane fireworks are illegal and can trust account and to drive home just how dangerous your standard sparklers and fountains can be especially this year with drought conditions leading to low levels of fuel moisture. the contra costa county fire protection district demonstrated at the concord pavilion. how quickly lighting a sparkler in the grass can turn into a vegetation fire that was roughly a minute. 20

seconds. >> the average response time for fire department is 3 to 5 minutes. so as you can imagine, even if that happens and you immediately call 911. the fire is going to be 3 to 4 times that size. that quick sparklers burn at 1200 degrees and all it takes is one spark to cause a disaster fountains small medium and large also potentially dangerous firefighters on standby friday had to jump in with water just 60 seconds into the fires spread. they. >> standard a garden hose or hose from here to your house would not extinguish that fire safe and sane simply needs no projectiles. the fireworks will not shooting into the air, but clearly they do not need to leave the ground to cause damage. the fire protection district says an additional 50 firefighters, including to improve. >> the >> work the 4th of july go to one of the organized shows that we have scheduled and leave it to the professionals

the lava fire up in siskiyou county but evacuation orders do remain in place up there. the fire has been burning since last friday. it's now 27% contained close to 24,000 acres. investigators say it was started by lightning near the town of weed. also in the shasta-trinity national forest, the salt fire burning along the i 5 corridor evacuation orders and warnings remain in place for communities north of shots to lake city which is north of redding at last check that fire has burned more than 5,000 acres. and it's 5% contained. as wildfires burn across northern california. the state is bracing for a more severe wildfire season as drought conditions do continue to worsen lawmakers trying to get ahead of the flames by ramping up resources and supporting crews on the front lines. this week. the president created an executive order to raise all federal firefighters pay to $15 an hour. but esto congressman josh carter says the order

will help the state's firefighter shortage. >> ice fire trucks sitting idle in parking lots because we don't have enough firefighters them and god forbid we pick up that phone. there's somebody on the other end to make sure that they can protect our community. >> earlier this year. governor gavin newsom authorized 536 million dollars in emergency funds to get a head start on fire prevention projects across the state. that includes training, firefighters and forest management. hey, dave. >> well, we can scrounge up any rain in this forecast going on the least we have that coastal drizzle working here that marine layer and place mixing out as we go to the afternoon, temperatures inland expected into the middle 80's a fairly mild july 4th weekend. we'll have more on that forecast coming up in a bit.

weekend. that's kind of a nice thing. at least it brings a little that marine layer around. sure we get some drizzle going on kind of 30's up the car a little bit, maybe afternoon. so even the bay will get some sunshine a little bit more rough going. it's true at the coast here is the golden gate bridge will continue to monitor this progress. all this morning. our temperature check a lot of green on the board here. we've got upper 50's scratching into the 60's. you get around the delta 65 for antioch 64 conquered up to the north bay. you've got the middle to lower 50's. 59 livermore san jose checks in at 59 as well. comparing yesterday. we're pretty close up not trailing a couple degrees. you can see again, it's just a couple of them and following forward to watch the pulsating a situation fog clears out. we're mostly sunny over my shoulder. you can see the firing up of the sos afternoon showers and thunder showers up in the sierra particular very plentiful. this go around. we see more action from earlier last week. here comes back. the marine layer. this is kind of that dense cold air that

doesn't spark off any of those thunder showers again, let's do the daytime heating in the afternoon. again. we'll see the flaring up of some thunder showers going on. that is some potentially problematic, as you've been hearing because sometimes you don't get as much rain with all of that. but you get the lightning which is not to helpful. all the way to monday morning. we did the drizzle and the coastal fog yet again. so again, we've got a coastal bay morning drizzle and fog and all that business clearing mild 70's for an afternoon high for the bay 80's going on in love again. we may scratch 90 or so in some locations warming. and then there's a minor cooling phase as we get into tuesday. morning. drizzle coastal bay that continues. then late in the week. we start to warm up in earnest. mid-nineties expected. well, inland late in the week. this is probably about friday and into next weekend, high pressure building and we're going to that heat spike thing again. 67 san francisco 72 for oakland 79 san jose stepping a little further. we get to the upper 80's again, we may

some of that marine layer in his the best we can do without getting any rain in here. so at least it's cold and damp. it starts the day off like that and mixes out for afternoons. we see lots of sunshine to. here's the shot from u c berkeley. as you can see, the east bay shoreline not in view yet until this mix is out for us. meanwhile, has a few from downtown san francisco. and again, the fog touching the tops of the buildings. quick check of the winds. there's the onshore flow that we see going on. it's kind of collecting around the delta little bit and with that daytime heating inland. we'll see some more of those winds temperature check most of the 50's over most of the real estate again expected. we have 65 antioch 64 conquer those the warm spots to start things off. what is build on that this afternoon, 72 by 11 by 2 o'clock. we'll call about 85 mostly sunny again returning the bank gain for tonight and tomorrow morning it looks, however, downstream like another heat spike building as we head into next weekend. we'll take a look at that longer range forecast for you and your 4 zone, 2. well.

>> well, it is expected to be a very busy holiday weekend along bay area freeways the california highway patrol is asking people who are getting behind the wheel to slow down chp has already started its maximum enforcement period on our roads. kron four's. dan thorn has more from san jose. >> chp officers say this enforcement is all about saving lives. they're going to be looking for drunk drivers and also people that are driving aggressively and they're hoping that by getting this messaging out there. there will be fewer problems out on the roads. >> chp officers will be out in force for the 4th of july with a record number of travelers expected on the roads this weekend. officers will be keeping an eye out for speedy drivers and other unsafe make sure people are driving to arrive. so we're out here for so long as and when encourage people to make sure got to safely. go get 24, 1, 7, officer austin heredia says much of the enforcement will be focused on speed. the chp are asking people to not let their eagerness get the best

4th of july. it's great to be out. so great for the long beach, california going to go have some fun. i've been up here working from going to have some fun. a much-needed getaway for both of these travelers. many at oakland international airport taking advantage of the holiday weekend. >> as a chance to get out of the bay area after being cooped up for much of the pandemic. that's why triple a says so many are heading to the gates this year. predicting 3.5 million people are planning to jet off. >> air travel this independence day will it 90% of prepandemic levels nationwide, open airport experiencing a similar bomb. we're expecting. >> approximately 3 times more passenger volume that independence day 2020. we've been planning for this for months now and then just to give you an idea. when you look at april, you can hear this past april 2 april during the pandemic. we're about 6 times more than the volume that we had it during the pandemic, newlyweds sheila and

been a lot of back and forth between oakland's police chief, the mayor and city council president regarding public safety and a disputed police budget mayor libby shaft had proposed nearly 19 million dollars for opd, which would have gone toward 2 more police academies. but the city council instead wants to use the money towards community resource programs. and department of violence prevention chiefs around armstrong saying now is not the time to cut funding for his force. one homicides and carjackings are up more than 90% from last year. but the council president is defending the decision and insisting the chief and mayor or misleading the public that there was no budget cut to police. instead. that money will go up to 6 spurt by 6%. >> because there's been this misinformation that the

council has. defunded the police department that is absolutely not true. we have reduced the proposed increase to the police department in order to invest deeply in violence prevention and that again together with policing is going to make our community safer. it's it takes a comprehensive approach to deliver safety with housing jobs and violence prevention and police who are able to focus on violent to the serious crime. >> council president fortunato bass believes in a multi-pronged approach to fighting crime is needed saying the new budget keeps officers from having to respond to calls such as mental health cases. however, mayor schaaf says the council is not considering the need to invest more with opd to account for inflation money, which is required to deliver the same services.

>> 7.43 here on this saturday morning and it's a little foggy in some parts to start off this a holiday weekend. dave sphar is standing by. he's got look at your weather forecast. dave, are we going to be pretty mild for the 4th of july holiday looks like it. you know, sometimes we have these heat spikes temperatures go, you know, kind of crazy on us here hang on. there we go. i want i want to show this because we see fog even in the inland areas here a little

bit. it's very early in the day here. but there you see. >> we have some traffic going on here. so a little bit of fog to start off your day. but that will mix up tick in those inland valleys and then around the perimeter of the base soon to temperature. check here at magic here right i don't got 50's over most the board right now. lots of green covering all over the bay. some 60's inland. of course, the sun is just starting to do its magic and has to fight through some of this fog and clouds and everything like that. the scenario is pretty much the same fund. we're saying goodbye to this big high pressure system really baking the northwest big time. so we have our morning sneaks on and that's going to be the condition throughout this holiday weekend and even into early next week. but then the firing up in the some thunder showers around the sierra we saw a little bit more action going on with this rain early in the week and kind of start to dry out towards the end. but that lightning strikes were still there. so that's the problematic issue. we'd like to get kind of a stratus rain with those thunder showers. but thus typical summertime pattern. does that. so that's cut somewhat typical. but we do have a

change of the guard as i've been talking about all hours. all this hour. throughout the early part of the week, somewhat controlled mild seasonal temperatures if not a little below that. look at this break. happens here about thursday or so that means another high pressure cell developing this is just a coastal fog that develops in the morning hours, high pressure building means another heat spike and you're going to start to feel those effects maybe as early as friday in some areas potentially could pop up there to around as we get into next weekend. so we have a few days for we get there. see as we get little closer so far for today's progress. 67 high for san francisco will do the middle to lower 60's along the coast. meanwhile, on the bay side, 72 for burlingame heading south. we see around 80 redwood city. palo alto. 74 meanwhile, for mountain view. down in the south bay 79 for san jose 85 los gatos santa clara 80 also with cupertino, got the upper 70's looking on the east bay shoreline tri valley. you're looking at mid

roaming the streets. we're learning that coyote has already killed several cats. kron four's amanda hari met with a neighbor who is warning others about the potential threat. >> i was only here for a short time when i saw that coyote run right down the road here. so i can let you know it's still here in this neighborhood and still very much a threat you know, can be aggressive if they become habituated to humans. i took this photo of the coyote friday afternoon. it was running across the street moments before a woman walked by with a child in a stroller. >> and a dog can with the california department of fish and wildlife says coyotes are usually fearful of humans. >> but they can adapt to being around people primarily they have rodents and rabbits. >> but if you know take advantage of whatever food resources are available. he says they will go after trash or unsecured pet food. but it's not unheard of for them to go after small animals. he

morning hours. as you said, it happened south of pleasanton near the cully papers or golf course. this is a look from one of the pg and e's wildfire cameras. the call came in around 09:00pm and a number of emergency agencies were on scene. the livermore pleasanton fire department alameda county fire and cal fire assistant in the fight after more than 5 work crews were able to contain it around one 40 this morning now the area is surrounded by many homes fire crews say no structures were threatened and none of the nearby neighborhoods had to evacuate. no one was her. now, cal fire says that they are returning to the site where the fire happened. they are going to be monitoring the area to make sure that there are no flare ups. and at this time there it is unclear as to what caused that brush fire. you all back to you can be a lie. can see just behind you. the hills are very, very dry. was that kind of the story as you head out to the east bay this morning.

>> yeah, actually, that was pretty much my whole entire view driving over. can. it's about a 40 minute drive from san francisco. so i think that tells us you how the east bay is. >> alright camila. we'll check in with you again in the next hour. thanks for that report. authorities across the bay area are stepping up their enforcement of illegal fireworks ahead of the holiday this weekend. the collaboration between multiple police departments as well as neighborhood watch groups led to more than 800 pounds of illegal fireworks being taken off the streets of hayward. police say each of the fireworks you see in this video is worth anywhere from 60 to $190. meanwhile, oakland police have made some major fireworks bus as well. officers confiscated more than 100 pounds of illegal fireworks just yesterday along with about $38,000 in cash tips from community members led officers to this stash that you're seeing on your screen right here. those fireworks have been turned over to the oakland fire department now. so they can be

destroyed safely. additional firefighters are expected to be on standby in contra, costa county this weekend. the fire protection district anticipates a busy couple of nights as kron four's phillipe djegal reports all fireworks in that county are illegal and fire crews are hoping the public gets a message. >> it cannot be repeated enough, even safe and sane fireworks are illegal and can trust account and to drive home just how dangerous your standard sparklers and fountains can be especially this year with drought conditions leading to low levels of fuel moisture. the contra costa county fire protection district demonstrated at the concord pavilion. >> how quickly lighting a sparkler in the grass can turn into a vegetation fire that was roughly a minute. 20 seconds. the average response time for fire department is 3 to 5 minutes. so as you can imagine, even if that happens and you immediately call 911. the fire is going to be 3 to 4 times that size. that quick

>> welcome back. taking a look at wildfires across the state here. crews are making progress on the lava fire up in siskiyou county evacuation orders, though, still remain in place up there. the fire has been burning since last friday. it's now 27 per 10% contained. and as close to 24,000 acres. investigators say it was started by lightning near the town of weed. now also in the shasta-trinity national forest. the salt fire is burning along the i 5 corridor evacuation orders and warnings remain in place for communities north of shasta lake city, which is just north of redding. now at last check, the fire has burned more than

5,000 acres. this one is 5% contained. now as wildfires burn across northern california. the state is bracing for a more severe wildfire season as drought conditions continue to worsen. lawmakers are now trying to get ahead of the flames by ramping up resources and supporting crews on the front lines. this week. the president created an executive order to raise all federal firefighters pay to $15 an hour. but esto congressman josh harder says the order will help the state's firefighter shortage. >> and nobody wants fire trucks sitting idle in parking lots because we don't have enough firefighters to me god forbid pick up that phone. there's somebody on the other end to make sure that they can protect our community. >> earlier this year. governor gavin newsome authorized 536 million dollars in emergency funds to get a head start on fire prevention projects across the state. that includes training firefighters and forest management. stick with us. we'll have a check of your we'll have a check of your weather right after the break.

>> well, check out this incredible video from the gulf of mexico. a rupture in an undersea gas pipeline sent a churning caldron of flames bubbling up to the surface. hard to believe this is real. the video comes from manuel lopez, san martine. he's a reporter with the tv station ad and 40 in mexico city. this leak happened yesterday morning around about 150 yards from a drilling platform. mexico's state owned oil company pemex said workers cut off gas to the pipeline immediately, but it took about 5 hours to bring the situation under control. the company says no one was injured and workers were able to resume normal operations. it's still unclear exactly what caused the rupture or how a rupture could cause these types of flames. but i mean, just.

was spotted several times roaming the streets we're learning that coyote already killed several cats. kron four's amanda hari met with a neighbor who is warning others about the potential threat. >> i was only here for a short time when i saw that coyote run right down the road here so i can let you know it's still here in this neighborhood and still very much a threat you know, can be aggressive if they become habituated to humans. i took this photo of the coyote friday afternoon. it was running across the street moments before a woman walked by with a child in a stroller. >> and a dog can with the california department of fish and wildlife says coyotes are usually fearful of humans. >> but they can adapt to being around people primarily they have rodents and rabbits. >> but if you know take advantage of whatever food resources are available. he says they will go after trash or unsecured pet food. but it's not unheard of for them to go after small animals. he

well, good morning, everybody. and starting things off with our traditional fog this as it's giving us some overcast sky conditions that will mix out in most locations except a little stubborn. >> along the coast with even some drizzle as we get into the early afternoon as well. but again, the fog is the major issue we're waiting for from u c berkeley. it looks a little bit at the golden gate. still the overcast as the sun is pure ing in through the peripherals off towards the east bay a little bit sore temperatures in the 50's and approaching the lower 60's. we have 68 an outline or 64 for concord 61 also for livermore. this compares with yesterday trailing a couple degrees this morning. so our mix today will do about 82 by 1 o'clock at ford 83. we do see some upper 80's happening. well, inland and approaching about 90. we do see another heat spike as we look ahead in the longer range forecast. we'll be talking about that coming up in just a bit. noel. >> thanks, dave. as i mentioned earlier, a vegetation fire broke out late

last night near pleasant 10 smoke and flames were seen near the cully pay preserve around 10 o'clock last night. that's where we find kron four's, camila barco. she joins us live now with the very latest. camila. >> yeah. hi. also the brush fire burned 16 acres. and you can see some of that aftermath behind me. all that is left right now is a bunch of turned and black into grass surrounding it is a lot of dead vegetation out has been contained. but take a look at what firefighters were battling last night as you said, it happened here in pledging 10 about 15 10 to 15 minutes away from the police, preserved golf course. this is a look from one of the pg and e's wildfire cameras. the call came in around 09:00pm and a number of emergency agencies were on scene. the livermore pleasanton fire department alameda county fire and calfire assisted in the fight. cal fire tells me that the wind was initially a big

factor in fueling the fire. however, the humidity that came through helped put he helped putting it out now after more than 5 hours of work. crews were able to contain it around one 40 this morning. the fire happened near many streetwear. many homes are located. fire. crews say no structures were threatened and none of the nearby neighborhoods had to evacuate. no one was hurt. now livermore fire department just came back to the site. they tell me that they will be monitoring the area for any flare ups and just doing some last minute cleanup work at this time. it is unclear as to what caused this brush fire. back to you. alright camila, thank you for that live report. >> authorities across the bay area are stepping up their enforcement of illegal fireworks ahead of this holiday weekend. this week a collaboration between multiple police departments as well as neighborhood watch groups led to more than 800 pounds of illegal fireworks being taken off the streets of hayward.

police say each of the fireworks you see in this video is worth anywhere from 60 to $190. now. meanwhile, oakland police have made some major fireworks bus as well. officers confiscated more than 100 pounds of illegal fireworks just yesterday along with about $38,000 in cash now tips from community members led the officers to this stash. the fireworks have been turned over to the oakland fire department so they can be destroyed safely. now additional firefighters are expected to be on standby in contra costa county this weekend. the fire protection district anticipates a busy couple of nights as kron 4 sleep to call reports all fireworks in that county are illegal and fire crews are hoping the public gets message. >> it cannot be repeated enough, even safe and sane fireworks are illegal and can trust account and to drive home just how dangerous your standard sparklers and fountains can be especially this year with drought conditions leading to low levels of fuel moisture. the

contra costa county fire protection district demonstrated at the concord pavilion. how quickly lighting a sparkler in the grass can turn into a vegetation fire that was roughly a minute. 20 seconds. >> the average response time for a fire department is 3 to 5 minutes. so as you can imagine, even if that happens and you immediately call 911. the fire is going to be 3 to 4 times that size. that quick sparklers burn at 1200 degrees and all it takes is one spark to cause a disaster fountain small medium and large also potentially dangerous firefighters on standby friday had to jump in with water just 60 seconds into the fires spread. they. >> garden hose or hose from here to your house would not extinguish that fire safe and simply means no projectiles. the fireworks will not shoot into the air, but clearly they

wildfires burning across the state. crews are making progress on the lava fire in siskiyou county. >> but evacuation orders still remain in place. the fire has been burning since last friday. it's now 27% contained and has burned close to 24,000 acres. meanwhile, investigators say it was started by lightning near the town of weed. now also in the shasta-trinity national forest. the salt fire is burning along the i 5 corridor. evacuation orders and warnings do remain in place for communities north of shots to lake city which is north of redding now at last check that fire has burned more than 5,000 acres. it is

5% contained. as wildfires burn across northern california. the state is bracing for a more severe wildfire season as drought conditions continue to worsen. lawmakers are trying to get ahead of those flames by ramping up resources and supporting crews on the front lines. this week. the president created an executive order to raise all federal firefighters pay to $15 an hour modesto congressman josh carter says the order will help the state's firefighter shortage. >> and nobody wants fire trucks sitting idle in parking lots because we don't have enough firefighters to me god forbid pick up that phone. there's somebody on the other end to make sure that they can protect our community. >> your governor gavin newsome, authorized 536 million dollars in emergency funds to get a head start on fire prevention projects across the state. that money goes towards training firefighters and forest management. >> morning dave, well, we're looking some isolated thunder

here on this saturday morning. and we are thrown a big congratulations to this bay area rowing team who broke a world record for athletes road from san francisco to hawaii in just 30 days. they were part of the great pacific race. the group left the bay area in early june and arrived in hawaii on wednesday. jason caldwell from danville is the captain of this team named latitude, 35 the team beat the previous world record by 9 whole days, which is a really, really big feet. they look very happy to have made it to hawaii. dave. i lesser you they just kind of totally bypass all the travel nightmare that a lot of people are dealing with you know, they can probably say we had a cruise, a private. yeah. this is what we're going there with their were. it was a working crew that they were safe. and i know that do that. exactly. i know it's it. how close is the navy guys they made it was his wonderful wife july 4th weekend on the home front not

too bad either got the morning fog starting to lift here along the east bay shoreline. >> we like this marine layer coming back each that creates kind of overcast gloomy skies in the mornings. but it really kind of dampens the local area and that's good as fire repellent going on afternoon. we'll certainly get clearing going on and we're already seeing it in and around the bay. again, there's the east bay shoreline, golden gate bridge still messing with the fog a little bit. you see blue off towards the distance. but still the tire that hours after yet clear in that overcast kind of in place. all right. temperature check in now graduated to 72 60's for good chunk of the inland areas over the east bay hills along the east bay shoreline around 60 peninsula's check in with some 60's and 50's as well for comparison sake. we're trailing a couple degrees from yesterday. no problem in that. so we start off first things first, clear out the fog in the home front afternoon day time heating those thunder showers. we mentioned up in the mountains repeat. they fog drizzle and afternoon thunder

showers going on in the mountains. little bit less moisture looks like for july 4th proper. hopefully we'll keep the lightning down to a minimum much. and then again, returns again for monday with this fog which will get a little bit more aggressive temporarily for tuesday because that's a little rid of the old little dip in temperatures before we were cover for the remainder of the week. that's the game plan. coastal bay it morning. drizzle and fog clearing out for the afternoon temperature checks, 70's and 80's mixture early week that little drop happening on tuesday. then warming up towards the latter portion of the week will be gradual and then by friday or so will be topping off to approaching around 100 for some of the far east bay locations in the solano county as well. those kind of spots to start looking for the next heat. spike to build which promises to deliver into the next weekend. sort looking at some of the models ahead. it looks like it's a possibility. 67 san francisco 72 for oakland 79. meanwhile, for san jose 89 for antioch today. 82
