going on san francisco. 55 for san jose. basic rule of thumb. we're talking about here as well inland. but the temperatures up a couple degrees around the bay, not too much difference. and even at the coast. but the difference will be not so much and temperatures lot more sun that we're going to see today picking up in the north. they won't have that intrusion of cloud cover onshore as the story for the winds today. pretty much expected through tonight. that's about 8.30, now tomorrow, there's a little switch that happens in here. solano county little spilling into some offshore winds to make note of. and that has prompted a fire weather watch for those folks there that will be for memorial day and into tuesday. and you should the next step along the way is to have a red flag warning which they may issue for tonight that comes out of the forecast office of sacramento. while we get there's ares on a moderate. typically, here's a look at what's going on up in tahoe. 59 for monday tuesday. it's 65 72 for wednesday. if you have the week off and you're going up there, prepare for a little bit of summer like weather we have this afternoon. let's watch the

longer range with this heat spike. obviously another high pressure building short. that's right. there. then it breaks down pretty quickly in the next weekend. that's about the breakdown on thursday morning. but this is what's interesting is this trend has become much more wet or water and that looks pretty good. taking us into the following week with all of this. now, we don't know if that's all going to hold. but the other good news with this is it does not appear like it's coming. a lot of instability. that's dry lightning. we don't want that. but we like the fire retardant with a little bit of the rain. even if it's a modest little rain, it's nice to get into the lower levels of the atmosphere. 66 san francisco to the coast will do some 50's and some lower 60's. 67 going on for burning again. southern end of the peninsula modestly only lower 70's happening here. of course, that will change later this week. mid 70's happening for the south bay. 74 for san jose. 73 cupertino, east bay shoreline to the south. lower 70's mid 70's going on for tri valley there. livermore popping at 74. 77 walnut creek, concord.

this go around. 78 71 for oakland. the it's 66 on shore continues today. yes, 79 fairfield, 76 napa and 77 going on for santa rosa. but again, the heat spike early in the game that gets us to tuesday wednesday at 90, very quickly changes as we head into the next weekend. maybe we'll put some raindrops and that. but with this heat spike, even at the coast, it doesn't look like we're getting a lot of movement there. so temperatures will be still on the modest and 7. thanks very much, dave. >> with covid treatments and vaccines more readily available. you may be thinking of planning a trip overseas this summer. so how does an escape to switzerland sound? joining us now with more is our dana redmond, our travel expert here. kron 4. good morning to you. >> good morning. not summer vacation season is officially here and demand is high. if you're thinking about international travel spots like rome, paris, london, they kind of have star power. but if you're concerned about crowds, it doesn't mean you
