>> hello and thank you so much for joining us on kron 4 this morning. today is september 11th. and we're showing you a live look now at walnut creek this morning looks a bit hazy out there. i'm not sure that's fog or the bad air quality day. >> yeah, that's a lot of the bad air that we're dealing with. it was. well, yeah. and that is there's a layer of cloud cover quite a bit that will be dealing with even in the east bay today. that's why temperatures have been reduced a bit. we see a couple little freckles going on our radar. this is some light rain occurring aloft. not a whole lot quantitatively and there is a sandwich of dry air. it has to fight through to get to the ground. so we are having that virga factor. however, the migration of this is pretty much from south to north. so we're throwing in their verbally. you could get a stray sprinkle or so this morning going on, generally speaking and after that, it's how much clearing we get this afternoon. again, we might see some skies open up in the east bay a little bit. and that would really change the forecast and temperature highs in a big way. here's what's left over from fay and we have
7:16 am
another day or so or to play out through all of this. thanks rights k i'm sorry in as it plays out over the next day or 2. it finally from a system for the pacific will be pushed off towards the east will be done without an earnest. we'll see those temperatures start to fall by the time we get to the middle of the week. that's a nice little treat with all of this has handed over to future cast for see a little bit. what's going on here? here's all of the action here. most of the heavy rain as far away from home. but this cloud she does with the big issue is in this particular model run keeps a lot of cloud cover going on for today, even inland, certainly around the bay in the coast and all with that lower level moisture always had that morning. sprinkle kind of situation going on tomorrow morning. still a little bit. nice flare up happening in the mountains tomorrow afternoon. complements of daytime heating the way. some fog at the lower levels you can see and that cloud cover a little bit higher above. 74 going on for antioch, 70, for livermore
7:17 am
along the east bay shoreline, upper 60's to about 70 got 60's up to the north bay as well. mostly cloudy for the bay mild temperatures. variable clouds will say in london warm that calculates might see some clear patches working here early in the week. mostly sunny warmth on monday, 80 ish or so. yeah, for a high 80 or so going on inland by wednesday. what a shock to the system that made him feel chilly for you a little bit. then late in the week here there is some minor warming coming up again and looks like some upper 80's returning, but they remain somewhat control term. i can see the heat spikes. a nice little bump up and temperatures there. what really gets interesting is early into the following week. we might get some earnest chance of rain. so 65 san francisco, 69 going on for open 78 for san jose in the big map. looks like this still racing ahead with maybe a 91 for antioch, but readings mostly in the upper 80's in the far east bay is the east bay shoreline returns. back to the 70's course. more on your 4 zone forecast in a bit. 70 looking forward to it. thanks very much, dave.
