scattered clouds to deal with as well. here comes back again sunday. you look at the inland coverage you can see off towards the delta again should be mixing out for most of the afternoon activities going on again to be the ground fog but will be left with a few scattered clouds in the afternoon. we don't have really in or interruption coming in from the pacific proper. so basically a law for pretty clear. 55 concord at this hour. also open san francisco, 53 palo alto. 57 got some cool 40's up there to the north bay. a little bit of fall knocking on doorstep here for fleet week. the festivities for this weekend. san francisco is looking at 66. look at your forecast coming up in just a bit. stephanie. >> thanks very much, dave. today marks 5 years since a deadly north bay fire storm tore through parts of the lake. napa and sonoma counties. thousands of homes were destroyed and dozens of lives were lost. santa rosa was one of the hardest areas hit specifically the coffey park neighborhood. you can see here all of the damage that was left behind and today

community members gather in the coffey park neighborhood to honor the city's resilience. kron four's camila barco is live there for us this morning with more on today's ceremony. good morning. camila. >> stephanie. today's a ceremony will take place here. like you said at coffee neighborhood park. now you can't see it with all this fog going on. but this is just one of the places that was rebuilt after the wildfires in 2017. like you said, homes, businesses of parks in the north bay or all destroyed because of several wildfires that happened in 2017 take a look at your screen. this is what coffee part look like after the tubbs fire in 2017, that fire burned more than 36,000 acres. almost 6,000 structure structures were destroyed. and 22 people said said many homes have been rebuilt, but there are still many people who have yet to do so. now, i also want to show

you the other 5 wildfires that burned in the north bay in october of 2017. take a look. there was an uninspired that burned 56,000 acres and destroyed more than 1300 structures. the atlas fire burned more than 51,000 acres and 6 people died. these homes. they were leveled. stephanie, hundreds of people lost their belongings and it's unclear if it some even homeowners return to this place after that happened. but today, state and local officials, some of the community members will be here at coffee neighborhood of park to remember what happened 5 years ago today. and that ceremony starts at 10 o'clock this morning. i'll send it back to, you heartbreaking moment for us here in the bay area. thank you so much for covering this for us. camila. >> and another big story we are following this morning. the family of a man who was killed in oakland last year is speaking out. >> police say miguel vasquez was likely the victim of a suspected serial killer from

stockton kron four's. dan thorn spoke with the victim's family. >> the family of miguel vasquez holding back tears. investigators say the 39 year-old father of 3 was killed in east oakland in april 2021, he is one of 6 men believed to be connected to a suspected serial killer. why did he do this? the right without you knowing kuz lake leaving his started that height in as boss, kaz is miguel oldest daughter. >> she says his death has been painful for their family. he wasn't really recruit. other. >> he was well known in oakland was really young. she was coming. he was hard with stockings. police chief says ballistics evidence linked vasquez to several other victims in stockton. >> the chief released this video of someone they're calling a person of interest. vasquez had been living on the streets in oakland and worked

odd jobs. vasquez. his sister is scared that her brother's killer is still out there doesn't put us on. he's heartless and he's killing innocent people without caring that they have children, our families, oakland and stockton, police are working together to find the killer. we just want justice for families out there and remind it too. >> that was dan thorn reporting for us. investigators say the victims ages range from 21 to 54 years old and most of them were hispanic men from stockton, $125,000 reward is becng offered for information leading to an arrest. police in oakland have made an arrest in connection to the city's one 100th homicide of the year. the suspect claims it was self-defense. kron four's gayle ong spoke with the victim's son. >> he was a helper. always try help people in whether it was someone who was sick and it is soupy would offer.

>> joseph true held the son of 6 year-old louis to help heartbroken and mourning the death of his father who was shot and killed just yards away from his apartment in west oakland to charge it wasn't expecting. this is video of the scene from the citizen app. according to oakland police. the shooting happened around 3 monday afternoon on kirk, him street near 12 street. troy hill died at the scene to wilson says his father was known as joey in his neighborhood and a man with a sense of humor. but if we were at a >> funeral reception, he would be the person that can get the left and the >> true hill says his father just celebrated his 60th birthday last month. family and friends held a vigil thursday night honoring his life. on friday, oakland police announced the arrest of 30 year-old khalil atiba and charged him with murder. according to court documents, a te ben te'o hill had an argument over money. one of the mode for drugs atb who is wheelchair-bound told police he shot to in self-defense. the victim's son says his father knew the suspect but did not want to comment on the circumstances surrounding his death that this

>> welcome back. the brother of the man suspected of kidnapping and killing a family from or said has been arrested in connection with the case. alberto salgado was arrested in merced county for criminal conspiracy, accessory and destroying evidence. law enforcement officials also provided additional details about the possible motive for the killings. they say the primary suspect so had a longstanding dispute with the impact of family. he was booked on 4 charges of murder. officials say he sent the family angry texts and emails about a year ago after working for their trucking company. so is now in jail after spending several days in the hospital after allegedly trying tp take his own life. hundreds of see community members gathered. amer said thursday night for a candlelight vigil for the victims which included an 8 month-old girl, her parents and her uncle vigils are

a live look at the sandra fell bridge where rumor has it. >> it is quite foggy out there, but hopefully that fog will not be sticking around too much longer for fleet week friday. hey, stephanie is should clear out as we get around the noon hour, taking for a lot of the festivities going on. here is our shot from downtown for you going on here to give you just an idea with the fog. looks like from other perspectives and so forth. all you know, we make all kinds of jokes, but it's good to have this here a little bit during fire season. >> in the absence of rain, this is the next best thing. at least get that moisture here at the ground level to kind of moisten things up a little bit going for the future cast. not a whole lot happens. fog mixes a little cloud cover up in the mountains today. tomorrow. there's the bit more aggressive on the home front. it's a couple scattered showers working their magic up around the mountains that will continue. it looks like the next couple of days getting into early next week before they even go a little bit dry 50's over most of the board 40's up to the north bay. here you can see 59 for san jose and 60 to 4 antioch. all right. here's the east bay shoreline shot. also the fog,

the background morning, fog bay scattered clouds. what we're left with inland highs today may pop in about 90, then dropping back to the 80's. the bay will stay pretty much into the actually, technically be a little warmer tomorrow, too. now for next week we've got a mild fall forecast going on in a persistence, one. that means it's pretty much the same day today. those inland highs will be in the 80's scattered bay clouds kind of lingering a little bit. 70's are expected on that front as well. no, the only thing we're watching in some of this is although we're going to these pop to the onshore winds again, that's good news bringing in the fog. moisten things up a touch. there is a couple little whispers of some offshore winds perhaps may pounce here and there. so we'll be watching for all of that. i don't think that will generate a statement. however, 66 san francisco, 70 for oakland, 78 coming in for san jose in the big board. they're the upper 80's near about 90 for the far east bay. most the north bay is going to be in the 80's. however, we've got 70's lining up the east bay shoreline. we'll get more into this in

the 4 zone forecast in a bit, stephanie. all right. thanks very much. day. >> the blue angels are back in san francisco for fleet week, but they are not the only aircraft are going to spot over the san francisco bay. i caught a ride on one of the fleets, most beloved aircraft. that's the fat albert. you're looking on your skin. you're looking at on your screen there. excuse me. and that's the only plane in the air show that's operated by the u.s. marines. take a look. >> with the strength and size that could carry you to mount olympus and back. they called the super hercules this massive plane might not be the first that comes to mind when you think of the blue angels. but it can also take you to heavenly heights. >> highs, i've seen this particular front there from those 35,000 feet. >> lovingly known as fat albert. this jumbo jet is mission critical to getting san francisco fleet week off the ground. we also get the incredible opportunity to start off the demo. most shows for our jets. take a look at the body of this plane. fat

albert was named after a children's cartoon because of its rounder size and shape. and i absolutely love it. flight engineer lauren song, part of the crew taking us into the friendly skies today. that hour is still a part of the blue angels. but we're all marine crew. her enthusiasm is contagious. it's incredible opportunity to be able to fly all the different places that would do. this is the view on board and there's plenty of room essential space to carry all the people and hear the blue angels need. >> from show to show just moments after takeoff. the plane hits a 45 degree. klein. >> really to his me off guard. >> the c one, 30 jay super hercules proving it. snow maker us at one point the pilot takes us just 40 feet over the water. a thrill for the boaters below. that's after several tight turns and hard banks. you can bet i was

gripping on to my seat the entire time. these on maneuvers you'd see in a combat zone. the big aircraft making solid use of its 132 foot wingspan strong enough to lift a max weight of 100. and 75,000 pounds. >> so while these guys might be able to streak through the skies. >> that albert proves it's more than capable of carrying its own ways. >> it's pretty awesome. >> it's so cool. that was pretty cool. well, during that flight fat albert traveled at speeds upwards of 270 knots. that's why was holding on for dear life. that's about 310 miles per hour. a very fast plane despite it's tremendous size. lots of funding are huge. thanks to the service men and women who invited us to go on board with them. >> well, there's a whole lot of fleet week activities happening today and tomorrow ship tours start at 10 in the morning and go until 4 in the

>> welcome back. san franciscans are invited to get together and support the city. a weeklong civic celebration called all out sf is coming up. and the idea here is to have some fun while helping out your local city. now, all out of step is the brainchild of the owner of manny's cafe and the mission district. and he approached existing and state existing city departments to get as many of them involved in this volunteer effort. the result will be 7 days between october 16th and the 23rd of various activities. each day is dedicated to one activity that brings san franciscans together for both service and fun. >> i wanted to come up with a way to get folks involved in san francisco and making it better but also make it celebratory and joyous because the last years have been so hard and dark. and so the purpose of all as staff is to

>> welcome back to the kron. 4 morning news. let's start off this hour with a look at the forecast. we've got spot in the weather center with the very latest on those conditions outdoors there. good morning, stephanie. good morning, everybody. and we're starting things off with some of those ground. fog are having negotiate through quite a bit. now that should turn into some scattered clouds for the bay. by the time we get into the afternoon, as you can see, it is pretty clear. a lot is what we've got going on here. this one guy's not going

facebook group. jeanne, when talk to the creator of one of those online groups and brings us this story. >> we live here. we work here. we have family here. we have a playground here. children play here. like many residents in stockton. this feeling is mutual. >> and with the possibility of a serial killer on the loose, it's unsettling. that's why renee myers created this facebook page. i initially set up as a voice for the community to be able to contribute with their information and any leads that they had in only 2 days. this page has gotten a lot more members and she ever expected. she's also hiding her true identity, not only for her safety, but also for the cause of her facebook group. i want to focus on the core issue here which is addressing the serial killer in the community. it's not about me or any one individual since this group has been created. nearly 2000 people have joined in commented with their concerns. thoughts and tips. and while it's meant to be

helpful place for people, stockton, police are concerned it could lead to an accurate information. members of this group have even posted pictures of people they believe matched the description of the person of interest. there are many sources out there that are talking about the investigation. >> with that misinformation has been spread. >> last week, chief stanley mcfadden emphasized the importance of being careful of what is being consumed online regarding this case as the investigation moves forward, our provide timely a verified information. >> but myers says the reason she created this group is to work alongside the department's investigation and she will not support any efforts of vigilante work. >> follow the proper channels that the authorities have set up for tips and information. they are the experts in this field. >> ultimately, myers says goals are to bring justice to the victims. families and put the person or people responsible behind bars. >> and that was, jeanne, when reporting for us this morning. police are encouraging anyone out there who might have potential information to please contact them with any

leads or information regarding this case. happening overnight, berkeley police are investigating a shooting that happened in the downtown area that happened around one 35 in the morning in the area of direct and telegraph avenue. roads in the area were closed for several hours. but the scene has since been cleared. we've reached out to police for information and we'll keep you updated throughout the morning with any new updates. the man was nearly killed while trying to stop thieves from stealing his catalytic converter. as you can see there, according to berkeley police, 2 people shot at the man in the berkeley hills near oak street and clinton avenue. they were seen wearing hooded tops and driving a dark colored suv. thankfully, the resident was not hit in oakland. on tuesday, a man was shot and killed in his doorway when he told catalytic converter thieves to get away from his car. now a berkeley city council member is asking people to do what they can to stay out of dangerous way. >> if people hear the noise of

for city officials, what was the woman doing in the fire truck? san jose mayor sam liccardo issued a statement to kron 4 saying if the investigation concludes that this video is as bad as it looks, then heads must roll. we cannot have a life critical emergency rescue apparatus redlick hated to a frat party bus nor tolerate any conduct that so demeans their heroic work of the rest of our sj fd team. i trust that chief robert sapien has one of our nation's finest fire chiefs will respond accordingly. the fire truck involved came from engine for house on lane avenue. the fire department also issued a statement saying the department has become aware of a concerning video posted on social media and investigation has been initiated to determine facts surrounding the video reporting in san jose. justin campbell kron. 4 news.

>> san francisco police are investigating a carjacking that happened in the city's portola district. it happened in the area will see and holyoke street early yesterday morning around one, 30 police say a man and a woman used force to steal the car from a 42 year-old man and the victim was not injured in this carjacking, but his car and those who took it have not yet been found. in the north bay. a resident living in a santa rosa neighborhood. they say that they're not happy after hundreds of people and cars showed up for a house party. police say that to all those involved had to be called they were asked to break up the party and this happened at a home in fountain grove. that home was being used as a short term rentals through a travel website and the people there violated the city's short-term rental ordinance, which does not allow for large gatherings. the chief says it does appear to be a growing problem for some north bay neighborhoods.

>> the jays and taco trucks and a full bar set up an inviting hundreds of people to residents for neighborhood isn't responsible. it took 6 officers over an hour to to clear out this party. so that's so the police department that were dedicating resources to short-term rentals which are being properly managed. >> the chief also adds there will likely be some fines issued ranging anywhere from 500 to $1500 depending on the offense. in an effort to get more money back into the pockets of drivers. governor newsom is going after oil companies. he announced he is calling a special legislative session in december so lawmakers can consider passing a tax on excessive oil profits. newsom said all companies are price gouging drivers and the high price of gasoline over the summer helped exxonmobil and chevron see record income. according to the governor. coming up on the kron 4 morning news, governor newsom swearing-in thousands of students in the state's first ever college corps fellowship.

santa rosa was one of the hardest hit, specifically the coffey park neighborhood. you can see here all of the damage that was left behind and today from unity members will gather in that neighborhood to honor the city's resilience. kron four's camila barco is live there for us this morning with more on today's ceremony. good morning to you can be a lot. >> yellow. stephanie, you can see behind me santa rosa fire department is already here. and back then santa rosa fire was working so many hours to put out all those fires that happened in 2017. now they're currently setting up here at coffee neighborhood park. this is where the ceremony will be held. and you can't see with all this fog. but this was a completely destroyed back then because of the wildfires, homes, businesses, parks in the north bay were all destroyed because they went up in flames. now you're taking a look at what coffee part looked like after the tubbs fire in 2017 that fire burned

more than 36,000 acres. almost 6,000 structures were destroyed. and 22 people died said sen many homes have been rebuilt. but there are still some people you have not done so the temps fire is one of several wildfires that burned in the north bay in october of 2017. you're taking a look at how it was like back then the nuns firebird, 56,000 acres and destroyed. more than 1300 structures. there was also the atlas fire that burned more than 51,000 acres and 6 people died. now these homes, they were leveled. hundreds of people lost their belongings and like i said, some people rebuild some people did not. now today, stephanie, here at coffee neighborhood, park state. local officials santa rosa fire department community members. they will be all out here talking about what happened during the tubbs fire, the wildfires that happen in 2017, an emotional day for a lot of but that starts at 10 o'clock this morning. i'll send it back to

that's why i was holding on for dear life. it's about 310 miles per hour. a very fast plane, despite its tremendous size. very, very impressive. there's a whole lot of fleet week activities happening today and tomorrow ship tours kick off at 10 in the morning and go until 4 in the afternoon stem center at marina. green is also going to be happening and a canine hero show activos park at 10:00am as well. and the second air show the weekend kicks off at 12, 30 and the blue angels are scheduled to fly at 3 in the afternoon for a full list of this weekend's activities. you can head to our website kron 4 dot com. and the best places to view the air shows over the weekend are on your screen right there. the marina green, a good option for you. that's near fort mason. but if you can't get there for any reason, maybe traffic's too heavy. the san francisco maritime national historic park as well as the george sterling park or telegraph hill. those are some spots that could be good options.

playground here. children play here. like many residents in stockton. this feeling is mutual. >> and with the possibility of a serial killer on the loose, it's unsettling. that's why renee myers created this facebook page. i initially set up as a voice for the community to be able to contribute with their information and any leads that they had in only 2 days. this page has gotten a lot more members and she ever expected. she's also hiding her true identity, not only for her safety, but also for the cause of her facebook group. i want to focus on the core issue here which is addressing the serial killer in the community. it's not about me or any one individual. >> since this group has been created nearly 2000 people have joined in commented with their concerns. thoughts and tips. and while it's meant to be helpful place for people, stockton, police are concerned it could lead to an accurate information. members of this group have even posted pictures of people they believe matched the description of the person of interest. there are many sources out there that are talking about the investigation.

avenue. roads in the area were closed for several hours. but the scene has since been cleared by police. we've reached out to officers for more information and we'll keep you updated with anything new throughout the morning. a man was nearly killed while trying to stop thieves from stealing his catalytic converter according to berkeley police. 2 people shot at the man in the berkeley hills near oak street and grand avenue. and the suspects were seen wearing hooded tops and driving a dark colored suv. thankfully the person or the victim involved in this was not hit in oakland. on tuesday, a man was shot and killed in his doorway when he told catalytic converter thieves to get away from his car. that's a separate incident. now a berkeley city council member is asking people to do what they can to stay out of danger. >> if people hear the noise of sowing in front of their homes are close to their homes, they need to call 9-1-1, immediately not go outside, put themselves in a safe place and that they're out of harm's way.

>> and governor newsom signed a bill limiting used catalytic converter sales requiring stricter record keeping to make it easier to track down any stolen parts. the new law goes into effect on january. 1st. in the south bay, the fire department there is under hot water after a video circulating on social media shows a woman getting out of a fire truck in front of a strip club in san jose kron four's. justin campbell brings us reaction from city officials. >> here at the pink poodle strip club of fire. old video posted by the san jose fools instagram thursday. so as a stripper getting out of a fire truck with lights on and walking with heels on in a skimpy outfit straight into the club. the biggest question for city officials, what was the woman doing in the fire truck? san jose mayor sam liccardo issued a statement to kron 4 saying if the investigation concludes that this video is as bad as it looks, then heads must roll.

fountain grove. that home was being used as a short term rentals through a travel website. the people apparently violated the city's short-term rental ordinance, which does not allow for large gatherings, according to investigators. the police chief says this appears to be a growing problem for some north bay neighborhoods. >> the jays and taco trucks and a full bar set up an inviting hundreds of people to residents for neighborhood isn't responsible. it took 6 officers over an hour to to clear out this party. so that's so the police department that were dedicating resources to short-term rentals which are being properly manage. >> the chief says there will likely be some fines issued ranging anywhere from 500 to $1500 depending on the offense. in an effort to get more money back into the pockets of drivers. governor newsom is going after oil companies. he announced he is calling a special legislative session in december so

brown eyes. if you seen her, you are asked to please call oakland police. well, today marks 5 years since a deadly north bay fire storm tore through parts of lake napa and sonoma counties. thousands of homes were destroyed and dozens of lives were lost. santa rosa was one of the hardest areas hit specifically the coffey park neighborhood. and you can see all the damage there that was left behind. and today community members will gather in that neighborhood to honor the city's resilience. kron four's camila barco is live there for us this morning with more on today's ceremony. good morning. camila. >> stephanie, behind me, you'll notice that the santa rosa fire department and cal fire, they are already here. these agencies while they spent countless hours trying to save homes. >> and people saving while this community was in flames. now, coffey park right behind these trucks. this place was

completely destroyed, but it has sense being rebel. i want you to take a look at what coffey park look like after the tubbs fire in 2017, the fire burned more than 36,000 acres. almost 6,000 structures were destroyed. and 22 people died. division fire chief for santa rosa fire department tells me this neighborhood was gone. believe it or not. 5 years later, the rebuilding process is still ongoing. a lot of homes are still under construction, but coffey park specifically has been completely rebuilt. now, santa rosa fire is one of the massive wildfires that they responded to in the north bay in october of 2017. the santa rosa fire department also helped out during the nuns fire that burned 56,000 acres and destroyed more than 1300 structures. there was also the atlas fire. not burnt more than 51,000 acres and 6 people died. the division fire chief at the santa rosa fire

of texas announced that they were going to start prosecuting the parents of transgender children who received gender affirming care to put the parents in prison, put the kids in foster care and then other state started passing laws to do this as well. alabama was going to parents in prison for 10 years. and so we decided that that obviously it's it is criminalizing these families for just trying to support their kids. and so what we decided was to california should be a state of refuge that those parents of those families feel unsafe and feel the need to come to california. we're not going to send them back. we're not going to honor subpoenas. we're not going to enforce this horrible laws. we're going to make them feel safe here. have you already started to see families coming to california to see this type of we don't know yet because it's not something we can really. >> truck. we are aware of families in various states who are you are wanting to leave or leaving because they just

don't feel safe. raising their kids and states but literally said those kids, there's something wrong with them and that the families might be literally torn apart by the state. how many states do know of that have introduced legislation or of made moves trying to prevent people from getting a hold of this type of care. >> well, what we've with 2 ways in recent years of attacks on the lgbtq community is the one red state and then they all start copying each other. and we've seen that for a variety of different kinds of attacks, including the don't say law in florida as well as the talks on trans athletes and so i think about a half a dozen states have either introduced or passed laws. some are held up in the courts, but we don't know what the future holds. and so we want to make sure that california is prepared in case we need to be a refuge for these families. >> now, let's talk a bit about also a senate bill. 1, 2, 2, 8, this is a pretty big one. you actually joined us here

live in april to talk about this. this would prevent police from using a assault victim's dna against this. so kind of recap of what led you to introducing this legislation in the sure. we know that for assault survivors. it's unbelievably traumatizing, a crime. >> and then it takes additional courage to go to the hospital, provide a dna sample known sometimes as a rate cut, which is, you know, for a piece of physical exam when you're already traumatized. and but we want to encourage assault survivors to come forward and provide this evidence so that we can prosecute the perpetrators. what we found out earlier this year is the san francisco police to apartment. unfortunately was retaining this database and then using a against assault survivors. there was one in particular who was arrested for a property crime based on her

rape kit, dna. and that sends a very loud message to survivors that if you provide a dna sample that might be used against you in the future, it's one more disincentive to come forward. so this now prohibits site. it says that the dna can only be used to go after perpetrator. and to be clear, the san francisco police department is no longer engaging in this practice either. yes, and to his credit, you scott immediately came out and said this is wrong and shouldn't be happening. >> i had actually police departments from around the state coming to me and saying not us. we've never done this for more. hopefully it'll never happen again. but we figured it would be cut to write into law to make clear that this is definitively illegal. >> and both of these bills go into effect january first. that's correct. okay. we're good. and last quick question for you. is there anything you wish the governor addressed that? he did not this last legislative session. >> we had a really solid year

passed a lot of strong climate bills and housing bills am you know, for a child improvements more funding for public education. we had a good my my biggest disappointment of the year was the governor vetoed a bill that i to allow san francisco, oakland and los angeles to open up safe consumption sites, places where people who are using drugs on the streets instead of using on the can go inside to help the setting. so they're not using in fdont of people's kids there. we make sure they don't have dirty needles. they don't even the eagles and the sidewalks. it's a proven model around the world and we want to try it out here. and we've got that passed through the legislature. governor newsom did veto. it was an extreme disappointment. but putting that aside, it was a very successful year. we work very well with the governor and i'm proud of what we were able to get on this year. >> ivm very, very interesting.

playground here. children play here. like many residents in stockton. this feeling is mutual. >> and with the possibility of a serial killer on the loose, it's unsettling. that's why renee myers created this facebook page. i initially set up as a voice for the community to be able to contribute with their information and any leads that they had in only 2 days. this page has gotten a lot more members and she ever expected. she's also hiding her true identity, not only for her safety, but also for the cause of her facebook group. i want to focus on. >> the core issue here which is addressing the serial killer in the community. it's not about me or any one individual. >> since this group has been created nearly 2000 people have joined in commented with their concerns. thoughts and tips. and while it's meant to be helpful place for people, stockton, police are concerned it could lead to an accurate information. members of this group have even posted pictures of people they believe matched the description of the person of interest. there are many

comes in just days after a man in oakland was shot and killed while attempting to stop the theft of a catalytic converter thieves in berkeley opened fire on a resident doing the exact same thing. kron four's philippe djegal reports. >> berkeley police are looking for 2 suspects last seen speeding from the berkeley hills thursday morning wearing hooded tops and driving a dark colored suv. one of them is accused of opening fire on a resident who heard sawing noises and witness them attempting to steal a neighbor's catalytic converter. i find it really concerning that. >> these thieves are now willing to go as far as murder. >> in order to get whatever whatever money they're getting from trading in these catalytic converters. the shooting happened in the berkeley hills near oak street and glenn avenue. >> police say although multiple shots were fired, the resident was not hit. he called 9-1-1 before calling out to the suspects. but on

aware of a concerning video posted on social media and investigation has been initiated to determine facts surrounding the video reporting in san jose. justin campbell kron. 4 news. >> and the north, a santa rosa police broke up a large party that apparently happened on wednesday night. police say as many as 400 people were coming in and out of a home that was being used as a short-term rental kron four's. rob nesbitt spoke with santa rosa's police chief to learn more. >> this area of santa rosa is all about luxury fountaingrove has luxury home swimming pools, golf courses. and on wednesday night, the 3900 block of flint ridge drive had what? it's not supposed to a large gathering. it's a stunning property to look at around 10:00pm wednesday. this luxury home became a headache for santa rosa police. neighbors calling and complaining over the amount of people showing up. our officers responded to the area and seeing that there were up to 75 to 100 vehicles parked in this area.
