7:20 am
you're planning to take guns away from people who are not allowed to have them. walk us through what that means specifically. that's exactly it. you know, there are so many different areas where people cannot possess guns. they're called prohibited persons under our california law. that would include where somebody has a restraining order against them. you cannot on possess a gun. it means if somebody has been convicted of a felony or certain crimes like domestic violence, you can. and most importantly, in today's world with mental over taking our world, if you have been what we call 51 50, that means that you have been taken to a psychiatric hospital because you have your danger to yourself or others you for a period of 5 years cannot possess a weapon. now the key is how do we get those guns from those people? and that's what we're trying to do. and i see and it sounds like these changes have already started to go into effect. they have. we have started the program. it's formally kicking off in my office. he ran on in 2 we're going to totally launch
