early part of the day. it's going take a break until it fires back up again in the afternoon. there you have it for the live shot east bay shoreline. kind of lit up nicely. of course, it will be brighter tomorrow. here's a look at the fog going on here. yeah, it mixes out. and as you can see, it's mostly contained up in the north bay by about noon. look what happens, though, as we get into tomorrow. yeah, it kind of clears out even though we do have another batch of rain coming late this afternoon. still looks like some of that fog clears out. more rain coming by tomorrow afternoon. temperature check for you. these are the 50's on the board as you will notice and for winds coming largely from the south. and that will be the case as we get into even the day tomorrow. and even as late as tomorrow night until the switch happens, there's were all the stormy action is up in the north. is raul systems coming in from the northwest. the typical winter storm track. so call a cloudy today with some showers developing in the afternoon hours. there. but it will be kind of scattered about their temperatures into the 60's warning forecast a bit, stephanie. >> thanks a lot, dave.

breaking news we're following from overnight. the partial remains of alexis. gabe have been found the city of oakley announcing the discovery was made in amador county just east of sacramento. gabe's family first reported her missing on january. 26. and they've never stop searching for her even after police said she was likely dead. gabe went missing after visiting her boyfriend, marshall jones in antioch. police say evidence found in jones's home and dna recovered from games, broken phone, which was found tossed in a field identified jones as the suspect. jones was killed in seattle in june during a confrontation with police late friday night, investigators announced they found some of gabe's remains off of jackson road in the city of plymouth in amador county. the areas where investigators previously identified as a place the murder suspect traveled in the hours and days after gabe was reported missing. again, what was found was not the entire

body. police say they believe more remains may be scattered in other areas. gabe's family has been notified and we are expecting to get more information on this story early next week from investigators. >> this could be a long haul, but he will be well. and it's just so tragic. happened happened. but nonetheless. we have to be optimistic surrounded by. >> house speaker nancy pelosi makes her first public address since that violent hammer attack on her husband. the speaker saying mister pelosi is recovering at home surrounded by family. andeit was only a week ago when that assault happened at the pelosi home. kron four's today says stasio brings us the latest on that case and what happens next for the suspect? >> there is evidence pouring in every single day. san francisco district attorney brooke jenkins giving the latest information on the case against david to pap the man accused of breaking into house

speaker nancy pelosi, san francisco home last friday morning attacking her husband, paul, that mister pelosi opened the door. they were both holding a hammer and the police observed mister de pap pull that hammer away and then strike mister pelosi. it was around 02:30am, in the morning of october 28th when police ad path went to pelosi's home in pacific heights. they say that paul pelosi call 9-1-1 from a cell phone in the bathroom and told the dispatcher there was a strange man inside asking for his wife, nancy, when he said she wasn't home. the man said he would wait and court documents released tuesday. prosecutors say the pap admitted that he intended to enter the home to take speaker nancy pelosi hostage. and if speaker pelosi lied to him, he intended to break her kneecaps, adding, quote, i am sick of the insane level of lies coming out of washington, d.c., i came here to have a little chat with his wife. i didn't really want to hurt him. but, you know, this was a

suicide mission in, quote, police say that they found duct tape, zip ties and a hammer inside a dip happes backpack. they also found broken glass in the back of the house were dip. happ says he slammed his body through a window, although the house was under video surveillance by u.s. capitol police, the agency later admitted that no one was watching at the time of the break-in. u.s. lawmakers are now demanding answers from capitol police about their safety protocols for members of congress and their families. bay area representative zoe lofgren, who serves as chair of the committee that oversees the capitol police department is leading the charge. as for de pap, he entered a not guilty plea during his first court appearance. he faces 6 counts ranging from attempted murder to threats to a public official. in addition, the department of justice has charged a pap with assault on the immediate family member of

a federal official and attempted kidnapping of a federal official. it also came out this week that to pap is a canadian citizen and the legally in the united states after his visa expired in 2008 as fda jenkins says no matter is status. he will be tried for his alleged crimes. this is an extremely dangerous individual who we want to make sure stace. it goes to prison. >> as for dip happ, his next court appearance is set for december 14th here in san francisco. theresa kron, 4 news. twitter's new owner elon mosque continuing to make big cuts to the company's workforce. at least 784 jobs will be lost from twitter's san francisco office alone. that's according to a layup notification submitted to the city of san francisco saying those staffers will be terminated starting january 4th. now, employees who worked in engineering communications and product and content

hill. police arrest a man accused of stealing more than $4200 worth of over the counter medicine. police say it happened at a safeway. they arrested the suspect after they say he shoplifted again. i'm michael store. officers were able to return the medicine back to the retailer. the suspect is now behind bars. >> all right. at least being cloudy skies going on for today with some widely scattered showers in the late afternoon. more

different by tomorrow morning. temperature check for 50's for most of the board. in fact, san jose. 55 antioch, a 50 to 50 to santa rosa. 55 oakland. obviously we had a rain event overnight. cloudy skies to start with fog. so when's the next batch of rain coming? it looks to be timed early afternoon. encroaching across the north bay. this the typical winter like pattern then down through san francisco, east bay in clears out tomorrow night there tonight, rather, if you can see tomorrow morning, we start off in the clear and looks like we'll see some sunshine for good chunk of the day. clouds fill in late in the day. now. and then after sunset here comes that more potent line of some showers around 11 o'clock or so. so basically for daylight hours tomorrow, it looks like the rain is going to hold off in. this has been progressively later in the timing for the second hit happening. but that does open up the gates for the pacific. there's more yet to come as we get into early part of the week. the winds now pretty much on shore to a lot of the south. as you'll notice, there's no switch coming in from the north.

midterm elections. axios reports trump and his team are eyeing november 14th is a possible launch day for his campaign. trump teased a reelection campaign during a rally thursday night in iowa. the first caucus state in the gop primary. the axios report also adding discussions do remain fluid and things could change depending on tuesday's election results. well, your money, supreme court justice amy coney barrett has again denied a request to challenge president biden's student loan forgiveness plan. but that doesn't change things much as things now stand, student loan forgiveness remains on hold because of a challenge brought by several republican led state. the white house has faced at least 6 lawsuits since unveiling its plan to cancel $10,000 in student loans. for most borrowers. the white house saying 26 million people have already applied for student loan forgiveness and 16 million of those applications have been

>> san francisco district attorney brooke jenkins announced charges in a deadly attack near a 7 11 store in the city's visitation valley neighborhood. now warning that the footage you're about to see may be hard to watch for some police say 77 year-old richard owens was killed and 2 others were hurt in the incident. the deadly attack happening just before 06:30am, in the morning tuesday near bayshore and raymond street. the da's office saying the suspect charles short faces felony charges in several aggravating allegations including murder and elder abuse. chevron is agreeing to a settlement for spilling hundreds of gallons of diesel fuel into the bay. the contra

get to the afternoon hours. temperature check mostly into the 50's and at this hour, that's actually a little bit above. we were this time from yesterday again for the morning hours. we don't expect highs to be that much the on where they stand right now with overcast skies and another batch of rain. this fog business yet clears out comes back again briefly with this new onset of rain and then kind of clears out overnight, compliments of the wind a little bit weak, a little dry patch here, both at the surface and aloft kind of unusual overnight to see when you get a late rain like that to see the fog clear on out. and then by tomorrow night comes a new batch of rain. so the express lane is open in the northwest, as you can see coming in from the gulf of alaska. that's our future as we go into much of this weekend and the rest of next week, rather a temperature check for you in the 60's. we go with cloudy skies. 2 o'clock. i think you're going to start to see some of that rain working basically starting in the north bay, sonoma. marin counties down to san francisco and then

spreading out to the east bay and the south bay. by the afternoon. a heavier batch,p though, by tomorrow morning. tomorrow night. we'll have more details for you just a bit, stephanie. all right. thanks. a lot of faith. >> kron 4 is your local election headquarters in san jose mayoral candidates, cindy cindy chavez and matt mahan making their final push for votes this week. they're locked in a tight race to be the city's first new mayor in nearly a decade. kron four's justin campbell spoke with both candidates on their plans to improve the city. >> santa clara county supervisor cindy chavez. the number one issue is really public safety and san jose city council member matt mahan, homelessness is undoubtedly the biggest challenge we face both differ on what issue they think should come first in addressing the concerns of san jose voters. chavez first would like to hire more police officers and beef up emergency services and its public safety. and we have a lot of people who are concerned that when they down 9-1-1, they're not sure they're going to get a response. and if they do get

a response, it's going to be much slower than they want. mahan says he has a plan for the unhoused. it's inhumane for those who are living out on our streets. but it also contributes to blight and crime and really brings down quality of life for the entire city of mayhem, says his plan is cost-effective by using prefabricated homes to provide safe housing while getting people back on their feet in support of services and job training, job placement, helping people overcome addiction. chavez would like to address affordable housing by straightening out the building permit process. we're going to restructure the general plan to makes it possible for people who want to build housing in our community to build housing into, doing along the affordability continue. both candidates agree san jose needs to be cleaned up but disagree on how the race is also been a very costly one. both mahan and chavez have spent more than 8 and a half million dollars on their campaigns. >> reporting here in san jose, justin campbell kron. 4 news.

>> all right. in the east bay, newark police are looking for the person responsible for the hit-and-run death of a fremont man that happened earlier this week. it happened around 02:00am on wednesday on central avenue in california street in newark. police say the victim had been hit by a car and was lying on the street. he died from his injuries. no arrests have been made. in the north bay valais host police chief shawny williams has resigned this amid ongoing calls from the local police union. there for him to step down. kron four's philippe djegal reports. >> during his nearly 3 year run as vallejo police chief following nearly 27 years with the san jose police department. the vallejo police officers association constantly highlighted with the organization says shawny williams wasn't doing right and his stint as top cop has been in jeopardy since last december. that's when the v a membership held a unanimous vote of no confidence in williams's leadership. on friday. the city gave no reason for williams's

resignation. when reached for comment. a city spokesperson says, quote, we cannot comment any further due to the fact that this is a personal matter in a statement to kron 4 mayor robert mcconnell says, quote, it was sad to hear of the departure of chief williams who work so hard to change the very culture of the vallejo police department upon reaching his 30th year in police work. i am thankful for the accomplishments he obtained in announcing williams a sudden resignation friday in a news release. in contrast to the vp. always criticisms the city touted his leadership crediting williams with police reforms resulting in a significant decline in shootings involving officers use of force incidents in citizen complaints. the blames in for this year's violent crime spike more than 20% reduction of sworn staff as of this summer and critical staffing levels at the 9-1-1 dispatch center. multiple officers have filed formal complaints against williams

alleging misconduct. lieutenant herman robinson is one of them. he was fired by williams in 2021. before being reinstated earlier this year after an arbitrator overruled. williams was also head of the department when sean monterrosa was shot and killed by officer jarrett tonn during george floyd protests in 2020, tom was fired last month. the city manager has appointed deputy chief jason todd as interim chief. the police department also announced the promotions of 4 officers, philippe djegal all kron. 4 news. >> the vallejo police officers association released a statement to kron 4 that reads in part, we are optimistic about the new leadership and look forward to repairing relationships along with rebuilding internal trust. workers at a local hardware store are cleaning up the mess after someone destroyed their christmas displays. but the store's general manager says the act will not dampen the

holiday spirit. kron four's. dan thorn has that story for us. >> it appears a grinch arrived early this year. it's sebastopol hardware center off of highway one 16, the store's christmas setup ruined for no reason. in the early morning hours and unknown vandal slashes and spray paints over christmas decorations and inflatables. the destroyed display upsetting for general manager dan allen. him. it was disheartening because we're we're small town special, small town. >> and really well-known a basketball and and well-liked our community really supports santa on a motorcycle, along with 8 other blow up lawn ornaments were found, sliced open and sprayed sunday morning. the nativity scene was also tagged with black paint. the spirited display outside of the hardware centers. holiday tent. it spent for families passing by in their cars. it's nearly empty for the time being. >> to come in and find someone that damage like that was.

problem. environmental groups say proposition 30 would accelerate the switch. the measure would increase taxes by 1.7 5% for up to 20 years. for those that are in more than 2 million dollars annually. that's expected to bring in 3 and a half to 5 billion dollars a year. >> 45% of that money would go towards rebates and incentives to help individuals, businesses and governments buy electric vehicles. 35% would go towards installing charging stations and the remaining 20% is earmarked for fighting and preventing wildfires. prop 30 would provide a large. >> and assured stream of revenue towards cleaning up transportation, which is the source of 80% of our air pollution and 50% over climate pollution. this is about lift getting money in car carol. california air resources board isn't there currently for them to go lobby to take that out of there? everything else is mostly what you see in this

ballot. it's mostly sort of window dressing for them to appeal to voters. but opponents of prop 30 say the measure. >> is crafted to help its principal financial backer ride share company lyft, which must transition most of its fleet to electric cars by 2030. in fact, opponents of the plan include one of california's environmental champions. governor gavin newsom about 30's being advertised as a climate edition. >> but in reality, it was devised by a single corporation, the fun of state income taxes to benefit their company. put simply prop 30 is a trojan horse that puts corporate welfare above the fiscal welfare of our entire state. >> backers of prop 30 admit rideshare companies will benefit, but so will many others. they say we need to make that clean transportation available and accessible to all californians, not just to the wealthy and that again, we'll take some incentive dollars because a lot of californians right now cannot

partial remains of alexis. gabe have been found the city of oakley announcing the discovery was made in amador county just east of sacramento. gabe's family first reported her missing on january. 26th and they've never stop searching for her. even after police said she was likely dead gave went missing after visiting her boyfriend, marshall jones in antioch. police say evidence found in jones's home and dna recovered from gabe's broken phone, which was found tossed in a field identified jones as the suspect. jones was killed in seattle in june during a confrontation with police late friday night, investigators announced they found some of games remains off of jackson road in the city of plymouth in amador county. the area is where investigators previously identified as a place the murder suspect traveled in the hours and days after gabe was reported missing. again, what was found was not the entire body. police say they believe

accused of breaking into house speaker nancy pelosi, san francisco home last friday morning attacking her husband, paul, that mister pelosi opened the door. they were both holding a hammer and the police observed mister de pap pull that hammer away and then strike mister pelosi. it was around 02:30am, in the morning of october 28th when police say des path went to pelosi's home in pacific heights, they say that paul pelosi called 9-1-1 from a cell phone in the bathroom and told the dispatcher there was a strange man inside asking for his wife, nancy, when he said she wasn't home. the man said he would wait and court documents released tuesday. prosecutors say the pap admitted that he intended to enter the home to take speaker nancy pelosi hostage. and if speaker pelosi lied to him, he intended to break her kneecaps, adding, quote, i am sick of the insane level of lies coming out of washington, d.c., i came here to have a little chat with his wife. i didn't really want to

hurt him. but, you know, this was a suicide mission in, quote, police say that they found duct tape, zip ties and a hammer inside a dip happes backpack. they also found broken glass in the back of the house were dip. happ says he slammed his body through a window, although the house was under video surveillance by u.s. capitol police, the agency later admitted that no one was watching at the time of the break-in. u.s. lawmakers are now demanding answers from capitol police about their safety protocols for members of congress and their families. bay area representative zoe lofgren, who serves as chair of the committee that oversees the capitol police department is leading the charge. as for de pap, he entered a not guilty plea during his first court appearance. he faces 6 counts ranging from attempted murder to threats to a public official. in addition, the department of justice has charged a path with assault on

you know, we're just going to it's it's it's a toss up. the polls are very close. there's a lot of negatives ads are going out there, but likely this is one that will be it will be decided if not on election night and a couple days thereafter as the votes as votes come in. i i think this is a toss up. but if there's any just indicator where could lean, i think it to look at the fact that mayor la carte of pretty popular has endorsement may and he he feels that same kind of niche. it kind of grew mats or feel that same kind of check business seat. so we'll see. we'll see. i think i think that's where people are looking to see, you know, will that legacy continue? but san jose, is it much more in terms of democrats, more tech, more business and we'll see. see if that bears out in a couple days and we will have to wait and see their and. >> now let's go to oakland. real quick here to there. also electing a new mayor. and we

know that there are 2 candidates here pretty neck in neck, according to most recent poll, lauren taylor and assuring tao, of the they do have a ranked choice system voters are going through. that means voters are raking the candidates in order of preference. you know. how might that ranked choice system affect the outcome of the race? you think? well, i think that i think if you want to cut and pretty good. recent, but it's extreme example. you take a look at the >> dunn prodigy inquiries about the about a dozen years ago in 2010 don product finished. tha was the first ranked choice voting in oakland from there. that product finished 11,000 votes ahead of jean quan date. what but ended up losing as more and more votes from people who dropped out. which quite as their next preference. so what you're seeing right now is lauren taylor has made a deal with trevor reed that both of their supporters will will

and run death. fremont man that happened earlier this week. it happened around 02:00am on wednesday on central avenue and california street in new york. police say the victim had been hit by a car was lying in the street. he died from his injuries. no arrests have been made. in the north able a hose police chief shawny williams has resigned. this amid ongoing calls from the local police union there for him to step down. kron four's philippe djegal explains. >> during his nearly 3 year run as vallejo police chief following nearly 27 years with the san jose police department. the vallejo police officers association constantly highlighted with the organization says shawny williams wasn't doing right and his stint as top cop has been in jeopardy since last december. that's when the v a membership held a unanimous vote of no confidence in williams's leadership. on friday. the city gave no reason for williams's resignation. when reached for comment. a city spokesperson

american politics. we take a look at both starting with kron four's ella sogomonian breaking down prop. 26. >> proposition 26 is nicknamed the tribal measure. it would allow sports wagering to be legal in california, but in person only at the state, 66 tribal casinos as well as it for privately owned horse tracks. it does not allow betting on college teams. the state's legislative analyst says the measure could generate tens of millions of dollars for california with horse racing venues tax to 10% of wagering. there are strict controls on who can get in. obviously up 21. >> we'll be able to monitor who's doing the sports betting. opponents say it will shutter the state's card rooms by opening the gate to the potential for frivolous civil lawsuits. >> we'll have an effect on jobs and will have an effect our communities, especially member cities in terms of jobs were added at over 1.6 billion dollars in wages that would be lost millions and millions of dollars or 500 million that

billions of dollars that would be lost potentially in local tax revenue alone. there's going to be a challenge. >> to that provision, 19, 7, 6, 9, there is going to be a challenge to it. >> if passed prop 26 would also permit tribal casinos to offer craps and roulette only after entering contract amendments. 15% of revenue would go towards programs that help with gambling addiction for kron. 4 news i'm ella sogomonian. >> and now for closer look at proposition 27. it includes revenue dedicated to tackling california's homelessness crisis. if passed, prop 27 would allow online sports betting on professional and college sports for anyone age. 21 or older, it would require online sportsbooks to partner up with a federally recognized tribe licenses would be limited to fewer than 20 sportsbook apps. the initial license fee would cost 100 million dollars the licenses renewable every 5 years for another 10 million

dollars. the online betting would have to be done outside of tribal lands. 15 1% of the money but go towards economic developments and help tribes which do not offer sports wagering. the proposition guarantees guarantees money to address homelessness. >> sports betting is coming. you're already heard that there's some coming in. 24 for don't pass now, getting ourselves position to move forward here in california is a very important thing that we need to really look at it hard. >> proposition 27 breaks the promise that california voters made to my tribe and other tribes in california over 20 years ago. not once but twice the voters of the state overwhelmingly stood with us and interested indian gaming. excuse me and trusted indian tribes with the exclusive right to operate gaming. >> all right. when it comes to casting your that take note that this is not an either or

sure to tune in on tuesday, starting at 05:00pm for complete election night coverage. where your money this morning prices at the pump continue to decline, according to triple a the statewide average for california is 5.47. a gallon here in the bay area. san francisco has the highest average at 5.68 for a gallon of regular napa. sonoma and san mateo counties down just a couple cents. santa clara contra costa and alameda counties averaging around 5.50, marin county coming in at 5.44. solano county is the cheapest at 5.37. a gallon and word on the street. you can get guess even cheaper at the local costco. taking a trip to tahoe this weekend. you're better off filling up before you head up into the mountains. because check out that map on your screen there. gas is going for 5.22. on average in sacramento county. that's about $0.20 cheaper than what you'll find in placer or el dorado counties.

now to breaking news we're following from overnight. the partial remains of alexis. gabe have been found the city of oakley announcing the discovery was made in amador county just east of sacramento. gabe's family first reported her missing on january. 26. and they've never stop searching for her even after police said she was likely dead. gabe went missing after visiting her boyfriend, marshall jones in antioch. police say evidence found in jones's home and dna recovered from gabe's broken phone, which was found tossed in a field identified jones as the suspect jones was killed in seattle in june during a confrontation with police and late friday night, investigators announced they

found some of games remains off of jackson road in the city of plymouth and amador county. that area is where investigators previously identified as a place the murder suspect traveled in the hours and days after gabe was reported missing. again, what was found was not the entire body. police say they believe more remains may be scattered in other areas. gabe's family has been notified. we are expecting to get more information on the story early next week from investigators. >> this could be a long haul, but he will be well. and it's just so tragic. happened happened. but nonetheless. we have to be optimistic surrounded by. >> house speaker nancy pelosi making her first public address since that violent hammer attack on her husband. the speaker saying mister pelosi is recovering at home surrounded by family. it was only a week ago in that assault happened at the pelosi home kron four's to co brings

us the latest on that case. and what happens next for the suspect? >> there is evidence pouring in every single day. san francisco district attorney brooke jenkins giving the latest information on the case against david to pap the man accused of breaking into house speaker nancy pelosi, san francisco home last friday morning attacking her husband, paul, that mister pelosi opened the door. they were both holding a hammer and the police observed mister de pap pull that hammer away and then strike mister pelosi. it was around 02:30am, in the morning of october 28th when police ad path went to pelosi's home in pacific heights. they say that paul pelosi called 9-1-1 from a cell phone in the bathroom and told the dispatcher there was a strange man inside asking for his wife, nancy, when he said she wasn't home. the man said he would wait and court documents released tuesday. prosecutors say the pap admitted that he intended to enter the home to take speaker nancy pelosi hostage.

which can trying the right to access to abortion in the california constitution. he's been all over the the airwaves on his opposition to proposition 30. so, you know, he's been doing everything short actually campaign for himself going to grind, always been trying to. i don't know what actually do. i didn't see much in terms of ads, but they're going to he's going to do it. he can. i think what we're really started talking about is whether or not what the governor is doing right now is setting himself up for a potential run in 2024, that's what a lot of people are speculating right now. >> you know, how likely is it that california will see a republican governor in the coming years current kerry also your opinion there? >> well, you just don't know. i mean, before we had large block of republican governors back the 60's, the 70's that pat brown, what was defeated by ronald reagan so on. and so jerry brown and you had a

round aging and people so, you if lyft, yes, we seem to be much bluer state. but, you know, if the republicans were ever to field a candidate who wasn't may god, we didn't we didn't was against that wasn't troy. some sort of and all star republican back from got the 80's. they might have a chance in a state where people are concerned issues about crime, about homelessness, about affordable housing, but all the things that are really driving some of the negativity at the local level where you i that there's a lot of potential, by the way, stephanie, for a lot of these ballot propositions to go down no matter how worthy they may or may not be simply because people are upset and fed up about government and bonino is one way of sort firmly same. we're not happy what's going >> and speaking of those propositions, there are several statewide propositions on the ballot that we like to talk with you about one of the biggest being prop one that we know would enshrine the right

to abortion here in california. walk us through. maybe the campaign strategies around that and other ballot measures that you're closely watching. >> well, prepped with this is a very much a message about it, an initiative it and the message is going to be like california state sen to the rest of nation that the state of california is putting a marker in the ground say don't tread on me. don't don't go anywhere with that federal bad because like it or not, if they were a federal ban, it would affect california. it would affected because any federal program and the federal dollars in federal insurance would be affected by the federal ban. so make them the state we would be affected. but this is a way to sort of, frankly go out there and say, don't go there, don't do this to get other states to to jump on board, you know, sort of like what happened in kansas where they rejected an attempt 2 in troy anti-choice principles in their constitution. and that could

if you tell me they want a big margin here. this is the big message to other states and washington, d.c.. so i think the other one to the other way, as i mentioned earlier, was prop 30. in a normal election. we're probably win pretty handily. has the the coalition of environment, labor, everyone coming together against it. newsom has done a very good job. plenty on the air. the fact despite the fact it says we're going to tax really rich people and do all these wonderful things for that. that is essentially he's characterized as a subsidy for lyft that it's a way for lyft, too, essentially modernize its fleet on the backs of california taxpayers. he's very good job of message. you matt and i and again in the fire where people are just i'm happy overall that's going to be one i want to i'm going to watch because traditionally it should win based on the coalition of people and

environmental groups and others who are behind it. but it's not looking that great. and the fact that the governor came out against it it's example of really his power and leadership on the issue that people report really paying attention to. >> and prop 30 again, this is the tax on income above 2 million dollars for 0 emissions. vehicles and fire prevention as well. right? okay. and a last quick question here for you, michael, on turning now to the national scene in the balance of power in washington. you know, it's looking like a tough situation for democrats. do they have any hope of keeping control of the house here? >> all i can say is that that we thought the democrats thought they were going to do very well in 2020 and they didn't republicans think they're going to do very well in 2022. and the question is, well, what is going to be? it's all local. i forget to share the national whatever preference polls, it's going to come down to a bunch of races in new york and in texas in nevada. in california,
