so much. in the east bay, a sinkhole damaged a storm drain in pittsburgh, triggering massive flooding in one neighborhood. kron four's. amanda hari spoke with community members there. arbor street behind me is closing on, told by police it will likely stay that way until monday. there the barricades you see and then beyond that is a public works. vehicles stopping anyone who may try to get past those barricades on harbor street. there is flooding that's dangerous and makes it completely impassable. >> parts of harbor street from yosemite drive to greystone place. look more like a lake that a road. it just started coming up of of coming on on track. and i've been watching coming to my i caught up with bernadine cleaver as she was surveying the damage. she says this is the first time she experienced flooding like this. i'm concerned about the coming in from the house. >> and not only coming into

7:15 am
8 last night. and this is video from thursday showing that huge sinkhole that opened up in the westbound direction. repair work has been underway since thursday. and as of last night, the westbound direction still does remain closed. incredible video captures the moment. a little mud slide swallows a part of the roadway on the peninsula. wow. look at that. this video was shared on twitter just yesterday afternoon. this happened on stage road near the town of pescadero. officials had already closed that section of roadway because of an earlier slide. and as you can see here, a huge section of the road just seemingly just slides down the side of that mountain. there. fortunately, no one was injured. all right. let's take a live look now at fremont street in san westbound i-80 here. you can see the roadways pretty slick from rain, water. let's check in with dave now who's been tracking all those conditions for us. hey, stephanie, what looks like we have another kind of weak line which is
7:16 am
marching through right now as we speak. and after that, we're looking for a little bit of a break and till the late afternoon it looks like quick shot here. >> this is the east bay shoreline. not a big surprise, very cloudy, foggy and gloomy looking because what we have some of this heavy rain in the east bay. that's what we experienced across san francisco peninsula. a couple of hours ago. now the heavy stuff looks to be around tri valley and then getting snagged a little bit to san jose. you can also mount hamilton, which will be kind of interesting later today in the models as it looks like from that vantage point up there that the precipitation won't quite end today. but elsewhere around the bay will have that little low we talked about and there's this other little batch making note of looks like some good heavy rain happening down there around half moon bay. but we already had a lot of problems. so any rain we add to this, it's just adding to the problems looking at soundest stormtracker and this is a point worth repeating national weather service's talk about this before as well. but when they're looking at these models, it's always very critical about where exactly that lines going go a little north, a little south, local,
7:17 am
big difference it could make if that's the case. so we're right in the right location to get these hits as was the case. let's go through today. now, not as much going on again. we're going to take a little bit of a break as we approach around the noon hour or so. there's as i mentioned earlier, the mount hamilton, a kind of get snagged their little bit. so there's our break. and boom, here comes this is the big storm we're talking about the last big one in its copious amounts of moisture from the stands. hope standpoint, the south, it really doesn't end in some locations and just starts intensifying already by sunset. and then you can see it building here. it's up to the north bay and kindest ricochet is back down again later later, model runs will show you the longer one a little bit later on. but it's want to focus on just today. tomorrow here long, strong line out here, which will play out overnight for us. what about those winds? they're also telling kind of little onshore. we haven't from the south. no wind advisory yet posted and their ears of offshore wind that tries to pop a little bit as we get into monday morning. that's also said with this low that
7:18 am
will literally be over our heads tomorrow morning. and then we return to onshore flow as we get to tomorrow afternoon. so rain and showers dissipate. another break. milk it early. so whatever you got to get done with the quiet, get take advantage of its a 10. 12, 2 o'clock in the afternoon after that rain returns before nightfall and we're talking rain heavy at times through the overnight into tomorrow morning. but this thing is moving quickly means it will be clearing out by monday morning, claire, quicker so rain on monday, not all day by the afternoon. we're going to get that break developing for everybody and tuesday. there's another quick little system which will show you the long range models brushes by the coast. but it goes back to mostly sunny. well, more in your extended forecast in a bit, stephanie. all right, dave, thank you so much. >> now the bay area football, the forty-niners are now waiting to see who their next opponent will be after they dominated the seattle seahawks and the first round of the playoffs. the seahawks took the lead going into half time. but in the 2nd half niners came out on fire. it took the lead on their first drive of
7:19 am
the half and then the niners took the niners defense, took over. they forced 2 turnovers. then rookie quarterback brock purdy put on a history-making performance. the niners win by a final of 41 to 23 kron four's. kate rooney has more on the niners victory. >> the legend of brock purdy continues to grow here in santa clara, add a playoff win to his ever longer list of accomplishments pretty becomes the first nfl rookie since 2012 when russell wilson did it to win a playoff game. hey, pretty wasn't even in high school then. but now his performances are looking every inch. the grown man pretty was 18 for 30 with 332 yards, 3 touchdowns, a rushing touchdown. and for the 6th time in 7 games had a passer rating of over 100. and though he got off to a little bit of a rocky start, he was able to overcome that and showed that he remains cool as a cucumber in almost any situation. the moment is never too big for
