you have is over land becomes unstable and you have all that moisture to deal with. so it's basically like monsoon stuff happening all at once. that does mean localized flooding. as you heard about the be locally heavy rain winds, you can get winds well beyond hurricane strength, even though it's just a tropical storm. i say just in quotation marks. let's watch this as it makes its pathway forward. as you also heard here, this is tropical storm warnings for southern california. boyce folks, this san diego weather service and one tropical storm warning. never do that here. you know. so first time they probably had issue that for a while actually comes the hurricane center. but least a week broadcast it. here's about where it is just before it gets into southern california, the category one but expected to become a tropical storm by the time it gets over to the u.s. side, there's the klopp of where you see the heavy rainfall going on for the most part say central valley points to the south. those higher elevations got to watch out. if you're on the great find, for example, you're going up to 5,000 feet of elevation. all that means is all that surface moisture gets pushed up and you get or

tomorrow. and perhaps some lightning strikes as well. got some showers left over from monday. looks like skies opening up by tuesday. temperatures in the 60's. that's reasonable. although you have a lot of that tropical moisture sometimes even at night, you know, temperatures may be even warmer than this. so i'd say maybe close to 70 and not much moving on the mercury with that moisture just kind of hanging overhead. it's a completely different air mass that's being imported via this tropical system. so that's hillary way down there. here's the moisture flow you can see coming up from the south temperature. check for you. real quick, 60 74 for antioch at those 60's up to the north bay as well. henry handing it over to future cast for the bulk of the moisture is off towards the east and nevada. that's good news because we need moisture for the rivers in the river. reservoirs like lake mead. this is a nice drink. tomorrow morning. we in the home front might pick up a few little showers at this point. the eye of hillary will be inland. so tropical system goes over land, it becomes a different type of system you
