7:18 am
even the ones you think are the really great kids. they're doing, you know, park assets are trying fentanyl. they're experimenting. it's a ticking time bomb. but i think we really need across the bay area's to really put this in front parents faces. teenagers faces even, you know, younger kids like this is what fentanyl doesn't. these are the faces and this is the number of beautiful and young men and women. and what last forever. and that actually goes right into my next question. you our high schools and colleges doing enough to warn kids. >> about the dangers of not only doing drugs but of fentanyl, specifically. it's so important to get the word out to high schoolers. middle schoolers and college students young adults because they are really the ones that are. going into this blind, not necessarily knowing because there isn't a national campaign and it's definitely better than when trevor passed away 4 years ago. we still have a lot of educating to do.

we still have a lot of work get the word out to get narcan out. you need the buy-in from the families that's a big struggle. i found that there's still a lot of shame. there's a lot of let's just keep it quiet. that's not helping anybody really losing more and kids because of that quiet, who in your opinion needs to be held accountable for these deaths. people are laughing in. san francisco is not the same city that it once was and that we have this open air drug market and kids like all of ours are dying. you know, so i you know, ask mayor london breed, bring my daughter back like that to sorry. it's painful that it's here. under our noses. you need education. you need law enforcement. you need beds for the people that want tech get. recovery said so many different parts of the problem and all of the parts need to work together, just sending

their kids to fentanyl poisoning. one of the things that is holding a lot of back is the desire not to put more people into. and prisons and yet these are murderers yet all 4 of our children are dead because of fentanyl. and there's no consequences. this is a problem and we need we need to do something. we can't wait another year. we we just kept. we're losing too many people. >> and this can happen to anybody. what is your message to parents who are watching this right now and are thinking this could never happen to my child to pay attention to 2. please take stigma away. it's not about. this. couldn't happen to my child because my child, the straight a student, it does don't be naive. you know, if you find one pill in your kid's backpack or in their desk at home. chances are it's
