9:30 am
but temperatures remain mild. that's kind of hand in hand with this because sometimes we wait for a system pass on through and we kind of clear out here's the deal for right now on radar. not much the splotches a green, you'll notice and even some clear patches trying to develop. we do have a flood watch has been posted for the north bay. this is a until tomorrow evening. meanwhile, around the perimeter of the bay, there is a a flood advisory. this is all due to the rain that's coming our way. and it looks like folks in the south, they will also get treated to some a good dose of some rain coming sort of parallel to the coast due due west to east. as far as the winds, we do have a wind advisory because there is a pop-up say about 6 hours or so between 10 o'clock pm and 04:00am on monday. so the sleeping hours, good, strong southeasterly wind will come with that. so places like half moon bay, san francisco, you expect those winds to pick up a little bit starting with some of the saturated we don't want the power lines to be hit by that. but that's always a possibility a little bit with that. meanwhile, the beauty

9:45 am
a breather. tuesday wednesday comes back again. but it's no rain mixture, particularly at that 6,000 feet level. there as it switches over to snow for those higher elevations. so having said all that, the winter weather warning is for those higher elevations going on. and that goes all the way out to 01:00am on tuesday to really kind of filter through the whole system. meanwhile, for shorter period of time, that advisory covers as you can see here for tahoe. so things will kind of fire down, returned down by monday. here we take a breather, but they're expecting more snow for the middle of the week as we just talked about. let's get back to short term forecast here for today. couple spotty showers up north. it really starts to build with intensity later on this afternoon. and there's the heavier dose of rain overnight. this will come with some winds. there you see it up in the north and the east bay about 3.30, or so early morning commuters. you might feel some stuff around the south a little bit. the peninsula to start off very early before. we kind of retire that and it's really going to be an issue. whatever problems already happened, because we're going to be adding much to that after the
9:46 am
very early morning commute and even some breaks happening in the skies. but again, this is all the way out till tuesday and still, that's the best we can muster because we have a lot of surface moisture. we don't have the consolation of dry air marching in after a rain event is typical ticking for a win or kind of storm. futurecast rain. how much kind of measuring this this before things get really cooking here? sore picking up a couple pennies and then let's open up the bank here. here we go. get the quarters thrown in here. inch. plus up there to santa rosa, one and a half looks like up oakland batting over an inch with all of this as we approach near a half of an inch for san jose, santa cruz mountains will get more, however, because don't forget that rain shadow factor. it's all pouring into the mountains before it gets into the valley. so going forward with all of there you see we get a break until the middle of the week system marches through that will bring us not as much in the way of rain, but certainly there's a lot of saturation still hanging around mountain snows again, higher elevations because this is not a storm system like from way up there. this is
9:47 am
coming from the lower latitudes. a little break getting into next weekend. maybe open up the skies a little bit. little bump in temperatures as we're at a 2 and then by tuesday, wednesday, the following week. this is something to watch for another dose of rain. so again, kind of review. the 7 day forecast tuesday, thursday looks like the day's best days to scrounge up little in the way of some sunshine saturday at 67. lot of cloud cover their pay have to amend that later on to kind of open up the skies a little bit as we get into next weekend, stephanie. but we're definitely making up for this wet one with a decent one coming our way potentially next weekend warm up. we're at a 2 little flavor. romo spring. all right. we'll take it. yeah. all right. thanks a lot, dave. >> well, the san francisco giants kicked off their fan fest tour on saturday. the first stop was in sacramento. rowena shaddox has the details. >> it might as been opening day for the giants as several 1000 faithful giants fans braved the cold weather early saturday and lined up at
