i'll be talking a lot about that. here's the east bay shoreline. it's covered up again with a traditional fog. again with the inversion will be left with some scattered bay clouds. but in just a few days out of the gulf of alaska will come a new system. >> and yet another one beyond that, too. so we opened up the little highway for some much needed relief that we're going to see over the next week. now, our service winds, they're back at it again. the onshore winds you can see going across the golden gate end into the east bay. meanwhile, temperatures are pretty much upper 50's near about 60, but most readings again up north or in the 50's. 62 for san jose in a little cooler across much of the bay here by couple of degrees. you will also see that reflected on daytime highs a little bit too. so breaking it down for you. 82. it looks like by 11 by 2. yeah. out to about 94. you're still going to be 90's. but 80's are common early next week. i'll have more on that forecast in a bit, stephanie. all right, dave, thank you so much. >> a local family wants to turn heartbreak into hope for others. they gathered saturday in memory of this 12 year-old kron four's lezla gooden

explains how the family is now working to provide support to those struggling with their mental health. >> on saturday, the nonprofit mackey's korner hosted its second annual suicide awareness block party. the event was born from lynette mackey is grief and is offering a safe space for uncomfortable conversations. i lost my 12 year-old grandson to suicide and without any signs. and after suffer for a while, i thought about it. there's a lot of people suffering. let's start talking about it. let's change it. and here we are today, her grandson jamal mackey junior took his life back in 2021 and in an effort to save other lives, lynette is bringing awareness through her community at a man here today. >> so much for the last 7 days. he suicidal and he came here today and he said it was suicidal right now. and i talked to him. and left and went to general hospital. hundreds of people filled the civic center plaza making this her largest turnout yet with even the youngest offering words of encouragement, piece.

someone who is struggling with suicidal thoughts, help is available by calling 9, 8, 8, the suicide crisis hotline was a good in kron. 4 news. >> oakland police are investigating 2 separate missing persons cases both involving teenage boys. sixteen-year-old israel myers was last seen august 20th on 65th avenue near greenman field. police say he has brown eyes, black hair and yellow highlights and is about 5 foot. 4, 17 year-old whose ious villas quiz. alaska was colin dress was last seen july 15th on east 16th street in the prescott neighborhood. police say he has black hair and brown eyes. if you know where either of these boys could be, please call police. 2 people are now safe after being trapped at baker beach saturday night. rescue crews say the pair became lost and disoriented on the coastline as the tide was coming in. firefighters pulled them both out of the water. thankfully, the 2 people were not seriously hurt. in contra

costa county. a person died after being trapped inside of a burning car. the california highway patrol says this happened around 02:30am, saturday off. i-80 west in hercules. we're told troopers called an ambulance about 10 minutes later. unfortunately, that person died from their injuries. investigators are looking and to how that fire started. the 17 year-old teen accused of shooting 49 ers player ricky pearsall made his first court appearance. the suspect is charged with attempted murder assault with a semiautomatic weapon and attempted robbery. kron four's rob nesbitt reports. >> the accused was sat before reporters were allowed in the 17 year-old from tracy said back to with his mother and father behind him. a spanish interpreter was brought in to translate for the parents. cameras were not allowed in the courtroom wednesday for the detention hearing of the 17 year-old charged with the attempted murder of forty-niners player ricky pearsall, deputy public defender. bob dunlap says his client has remorse for what

happened is very genuinely that this did happen as family. >> and i can say on their behalf as well as on my own behalf. that our thoughts go out to the pearsall family and mister pearsall himself. dunlap agreed to a speedy trial for his client during wednesday's hearing. >> giving the san francisco da's office 15 days to decide if the 17 year-old will be tried as an adult. a probation officer asked at the minor be detained in san francisco during the trial, a request the judge granted once that's done. >> if you go to the disposition phase, which would be a can in the adult world to sentencing and that would occur in the county of residence in this said what according to the da's office saturday shooting in union square and balding pearsall and the 17 year-old >> occurred because of an attempted robbery pearsall the shot in the chest and was released from the hospital. 24 hours after he was admitted, we learn more wednesday about the suspect's injuries. he was shot through the left arm. >> similar to mr. pearce elves injuries will be called through and through a bullet pass entering a passing through tunneling, if you

will. and thankfully, in both cases you know they're doing. >> very well. the next court appearance for the 17 year-old is scheduled for september 10th reporting in the newsroom. i'm rob nesbitt kron. 4 news. >> new this morning, a woman is recovering after someone shot her in antioch. police responded to shots fired around 9.30 saturday night in the parking lot of sycamore square. when officers got there, they found the woman wounded. police took her to the hospital and she is expected to be okay. officers continue to investigate that shooting this morning. lewis's san francisco will no longer be allowed to use algorithmic software to set rent prices. the board of supervisors passed the ordinance last week. landlords traditionally set rates by comparing their properties to similar ones in the same market area. but with the rise of ai property owners have started using real-time pricing that updates regularly under the new law. if a landlord is caught, they will be fined up to $1000. san

francisco is the first city in america to pass this kind of regulation. contra. costa county is planning to expand health care coverage to uninsured and undocumented residents. premiums for the basic health care plan will be on a sliding scale but will not exceed $20 a month. it's estimated 10,000 uninsured and undocumented residents contra costa county will be eligible. >> we are a nation of immigrants. 25% of the people who live in contra costa county were born outside this country. and and it is important for all of us to understand. expanded health care iy good for all of us. >> the basic health care plan offers primary care. 24 7 nurse advice, medication and ex race. the city of san francisco now offers chinese spanish and filipino language options. and it's 3, 1, 1, app that app request city services and tracks the status of those requests. last year, 3, 1, 1, got more than 800,000 service

dave. >> i know is is the morning cloudy in version 11 mix out. it'll be nor this part of the screen here. but up here the show, this is right there with that inversion is right above us. the blue skies will be some scattered a little bit bay clouds to deal with early on that it should clear out 60 going on here for antioch, most readings in the east bay in the upper 50's up north, lower 50's. 63. meanwhile for san jose and some of the warmest numbers are numbers will be found just south of santa clara county. a little bit too. so we're looking at futurecast for and yet takes a little while and some spots to clear on out this fog. so at the coast, you might have some more pesky clouds and stick around a little longer today than yesterday. continue with that onshore flow, helping folks well inland. meanwhile, in the hills and the mountains out east, you can see the flare up in the afternoon clouds not so much in the way of sunshine. you are not the way of rain. yeah, we're losing some of that mid-level moisture. as you can see, nelson week starts to come in and we get into early tomorrow. there's that marine layer thickening up a little bit in response to our first

wave coming our way. you're not going to feel that really till tuesday, but there it's responding with some coastal sprinkle. so maybe early morning commute under water near the bay. you might pick up a little bit of the way. some drizzle to start off your day. but afternoon, sunshine again, some pesky afternoon bay clouds running at forward. yes, the winds will be in place. you'll feel it in the east bay a little bit in the afternoon and the early evenings. good thing starts to build a little bit on monday. again, response to our low. that's to drop south. now it's like a drop as far south as the earlier models. but enough to cool us down. that's the one. that's what we care about. so we'll be showing the that in the longer range forecast coming up in a bit, a few bay clouds will keep in their sunday. there's a cell phone behind me there. meanwhile, will be hot well inland with 90 ish going on. so we still have the 90's that are out there. the folks in tri valley, maybe the lower 90's that that now next week cooling quickly well inland, lower 80's. that's right. we're talking about lower 80's once this low starts to drop in, this will be tuesday recovery for the latter portion of the week will warm

up gradually by friday and then another hit comes next weekend. we're still working on what all these details are because this actually could potentially bring us some rain along with it. it just looks pretty potent. 72 going on for san francisco, 30 clouds and fog and all that. 79 for oakland, again, noting maybe some of those early bay clouds when the general forecast here in 87. meanwhile, for san jose, sunny, still warm high temperature map here. they are the still hiding out in spots. now we have some of these 90's here. even mid 90's. you can see off towards the east up north, 90 for santa rosa east bay. shoreline still has some 80's at work here with 72 san francisco. so still very summer, like half moon bay socked in with the bay clouds in the morning hours, proud of the the fog clouds dropping to 88 monday, 80 for tuesday. there you see the cloud cover and again might get some drizzle with that. but the bigger hits going to be next weekend, too. so that's we want to check your wardrobe for some of the autumnal stuff. because we're gonna get some cooler stuff in here for this week. we're breaking with

southern california. back in 2016 in a transition. that was anything but smooth. the new deal still needs approval from regulators. one security company is taking a bold step towards helping businesses fend off crime security cameras that can launch pepper spray and smoke bombs. the company is deep sentinel. i profiled them back in 2021. their cameras have live operators acting as virtual security guards standing by to warn trespassers to leave in real time. their latest add-on is called flash bang. it has real smoke bombs and pepper spray along with loud sirens to the mix, the company says if regular to turn stonework, the virtual security guards can set off the flash bang devices deep. sentinels ceo says the product is necessary because criminals are getting more aggressive and they aren't scared by typical security systems. as always more information on my website, rich on tech dot tv. i'm rich demuro. that's richaun tack. all right. a

south bay pizza company is picking up the pieces. >> after multiple break-ins, the first happened at a slice of new york's sunnyvale shop on august. 19th. you can see a burglar busting in a window and rummaging through the restaurant. they did leave without taking anything and less than 2 weeks later, a burglary seen throwing a rock through the front door of the san jose shop. they also rummaged through the empty chores. as you can see there, the general manager says they don't keep any cash at the business, but the damage is costly and insurance will not cover it. >> everybody struggling in their various capacities. you know, i don't know what causes someone to start vandalizing businesses and stealing things. i mean, i get it if we sell cell phones or computers or shoes or whatever. you know there, there are ways, you know, there you can resell it with me. don't have anything commission's work and take a such ease flower our sauce. i don't know why someone would target our business.

settlement agreement claiming the airline engaged in new violations and refused to restore earned, paid sick leave hours to employees. the law also seek southwest pay restitution damages and penalties to affected workers. southwest responded with a statement saying they quote, fully comply with applicable sick leave laws. the o-line going on to say that although southwest remains willing to address the city's concerns about sick leave policies, the airline is prepared to vigorously defend itself against these frivolous claims in court included by asking the court to address the city's own bridge of the settlement agreement. fire officials say the risk of wildfire could soon peak in california adding september october are active fire months. dry conditions are still around a fuel flames. despite typically cooler temperatures. >> being at the higher elevations, our fire season starts may be a little bit later than down in the sacramento area down where it's hotter and drier. so good

>> and we'll get back to mostly sunny skies on balance. want to keep a few little scattered bay clouds and they're just for good measure at the coast. that may be a little bit more problematic. now, sfo, you see the fog bank in the background. however, no delays being reported. now. so that's a nice smooth sailing for this sunday. the breakdown today certainly well inland. it's sunny skies. 82 at 11 by 2 were at 94. so still warm going on here. we haven't really cooled onto cooled off too much yet. the big is expected to hit on tuesday and you will feel the effects well inland as well. upper 50's line up the east bay shoreline. and a lot of these numbers you see here are trailing where they were this time from yesterday. so on the right direction there, we got some nice cooling at night. we're getting some cooler nights now and upstream waiting for a low to drop south on tuesday. but it will be followed by yet. another one come next weekend. so it looks like we open up the pathway from the gulf of alaska. hopefully we're member that the summer. so we get the storm track down here to mid-nineties going on in the far east bay for highs today out still hot there. 64 going

on for half moon bay also reflecting the fact we'll see little bit more cloud cover lingering later in the day that we talked about these cool downs and such. we're going to take a look at your 4 zone forecast and also the trajectory of these systems coming our way next week, stephanie. all right, dave, thank you. >> in the south bay, local leaders say thousands of people in the bay area experiencing homelessness need somewhere safe to sleep rovers. dan kerman explains how the city of san jose is set to offer a new service to help. >> it's here along east taylor street near 23rd that sent will create its first safe sleeping site for those who are unhoused just a first wrong on the ladder. it's an incremental improvement. the goal, of course, is eventually. to get everyone into dignified shelter, ideally housing that they can afford. that may be a stop in a treatment center for right now. we've just got to kind of triage and stabilize and do a better job of managing this crisis. san jose mayor matt mahan says the site near coyote creek will have many of the same features as the one

he toured in san diego last month. while that site has 400 residents, this one will likely have room for about 100, but it allows us to do is get our unhoused neighbors into a managed site with on site security, sanitation meals. case management. >> and then we can ban campaign in public spaces like our parks and along our creeks and their schools and say you're not allowed to just camp anywhere in the city, but here is an area where you can be with some services that actually improve safety and reduce the risk of fire and reduce trash and and really give people a chance to start to turn their lives around. the mayor says that will be good news for those who live in the area. >> who have complained nearby watson park is felt unsafe due to homeless encampments. next steps include community meetings, site planning and hiring a service provider. so for now, the site is at the top of the list in assuming it stays there.

>> we could see that safe sleeping site opening here in early 2025. in san jose. dan kerman kron. 4 news. >> in the east bay business owners in oakland's jack london square expressed frustration over a new plan, homeless shelter earlier this year. city council approved turn jack london inn into homeless housing. but the business owners involved say that they're concerned the shelter will bring more crime to the area. the group includes former oakland police chief and current city council candidate lebron armstrong. they say that they're being ignored as the city moves ahead with its plans. >> something to come into the square that makes people want to come here. not something that deter our customers. i'm from patronizing our business that we work so hard for. and we demand a public airing by the city council on this decision. none of us were notified this group of business owners. he's just asking for an opportunity to have a conversation with city leaders before decisions like this are made.

>> the hotel was expected to become a shelter by the summer, but that's still not happen. it probably your local election headquarters and governor gavin newsom heads to the east coast this week to hit the campaign trail for kamala harris and tim walz, the governor's political team confirms newson heads to new york for national media appearances who also joined fundraisers before heading to pennsylvania for more harris campaign stops. newsom is expected to return to california on wednesday. alameda county is being sued by a mother who says her son was killed at the santa rita jail. according to lawsuit, yuri brand was arrested for a nonviolent crime and placed into the general population. housing at the jail despite having schizophrenia after 5 days in jail, the lawsuit alleges brand was given a cell mate with a history of violence that cell mate allegedly killed brand less than an hour after being in a cell with him. attorneys claim deputies failed to place brandon appropriate mental

health housing. it also says nearly 70 inmates have died in the last decade and has been killed and that you. the niners kick off their season tomorrow night at levi stadium. but new tailgating rules are putting a damper on the excitement for longtime fans for sara stinson explains. >> it's football normally fans are getting excited in all geared up. but a lot of niner nation is saddened by new parking policies here at levi stadium that could make it harder for people to tailgate in the parking lot. here fans are fighting back with an online petition gathering thousands of signatures missed 2 home games in 20 plus years. going back from canvas joleon or is the founder of niner empire. a forty-niners fan club that has chapters across the world. we get hyped up for the game because we all love our forty-niners one of his favorite parts about going to a home game. the tailgate. the leonore says tailgating won't be the same. now that the team has created new parking rules.

all over the water. just wondered part starting this season. parking attendants at levi's will be directing cars to park in the next available empty space. >> instead of allowing fans to block off an area for specific tailgate group on a season. ticket holders are ready to give up their season tickets because of levi's stadium has listed the new policies on its website with this picture showing but will be allowed. it says tailgating should be limited to the line parking space in the area directly behind or in front of the vehicle. you must keep all tables, chairs, coolers, barbecues within the parking stall and tents or canopies must be 8 feet by 8 feet or smaller. >> the team says this will help reduce congestion as well as improve safety and traffic flow. amplified sound will also be prohibited and all tailgating must stop after kickoff to money grab number one does the world cup is coming. >> it's a very corporate

opioid epidemic. right now more than 2500 people get methadone through city clinics, federal restrictions have eased up for it. but that's still not the case in california. the new bill still needs the governor's signature and hopes it hopes to change the existing legislation. >> i know firsthand how critical methadone has been in keeping our patients with opioid addiction allies and on their path to recovery. the science tells us that methadone is the gold standard to fight opioid addiction. >> san francisco, public health officials credit methadone with the drop in overdose deaths in the city last year. newsom has until the end of the month to make his decision on the bill. >> a san francisco barber called a hero this morning after taking down a man accused of stabbing a woman. this happened last week just outside of his barbershop on divisadero street and during that encounter, the barber ended up breaking his leg. he

bay and around the coast. it'll be a little bit more problematic. there's the blanket of fog you can see kind of covering over a good chunk of the bay for right now. but starting to break up a bit now upstream, we're waiting for the southern more potent low to drop south and what doesn't look like. it's going to drop the south as the earlier models. but we do see the cooling trend coming our way. and this will be a really welcome break of summer for us. and there's even a stronger one by next weekend. so this is a nice path with some autumn weather onshore winds. you can see they're still in place will get as loyal as they come in as we get to around monday. however, and into tuesday, there's going to be a pop associated with this low that's coming into town. we've got lower 60's and upper 50's lining up the east bay shoreline. meanwhile, up north, lower 50's 52 for half moon bay and 63 for san jose. are they a little cooler? yeah, they're a little cooler than yesterday's numbers. as you can see in the east bay, particularly in a little bit on the peninsula as well for today. let's try about 87 high noon by those numbers are starting to get a

where either of these boys could be, please call police. 2 people are now safe after being trapped at baker beach saturday night. rescue crews say the pair became lost and disoriented on the coastline as the tide was coming in. firefighters pulled them both out of the water and thankfully the 2 people were not seriously hurt. in contra costa county. a person is dead after being trapped inside a burning car. the california highway patrol. they say this happened around 02:30am, south saturday off i-80 west in hercules. we're told troopers called an ambulance about 10 minutes later. that person did die from their injuries. investigators are looking into how that fire started. a 17 year-old teen accused of shooting 49 ers player ricky pearsall made his first court appearance. the suspect is charged with attempted murder assault with a semiautomatic weapon and attempted robbery. well, it was rob nesbitt reports. >> the accused was sat before reporters were allowed in the

good to hear the breakdown today. there you have an 87 by high noon to 3 o'clock. we're up to about the warming is relatively rapid. we get into the afternoon hours so far we have lower 60's lighting up the east bay shoreline. plenty of 50's. meanwhile, up north and 64 for antioch and a lot of these readings are below where they were this time from yesterday. so good start there. and a chilly 54 for half moon bay. so we had a little low that moved on through. gave us some cooling relief that actually kind of cleaned up the atmosphere, at least in some spots of california. with that monsoon moisture being contained in socal. the next system is due to arrive from the gulf of alaska by monday tuesday zone. and that will drive some winds. but here it is today. yeah. mid 90's going on east to the east bay hills and up n for napa. 94 santa rosa. 87 meanwhile for san jose. but when you get further south, like los gatos and down to around the morgan hill, those numbers will be again, elevate in the middle to upper 90's.

again. relief is coming our way. we're gonna take a look at that week-long forecast for you. what those treats coming our way. plus a look at your 4 zone forecast to stephanie. all right, dave, thank you. leaders say thousands of people in the bay area experiencing homelessness excuse me experiencing homelessness still need somewhere safe to sleep. was dead. kerman explains how the city of san jose is set to offer a new service to help. >> it's here along east taylor street near 23rd that sent will create its first safe sleeping site for those who are unhoused just a first wrong on the ladder. it's an incremental improvement. goal, of course, is eventually. to get everyone into dignified shelter, ideally housing that they can afford. that may be a stop in a treatment center for right now. we've just got to kind of triage and stabilize and do a better job of managing this crisis. san jose mayor matt mahan says the site near coyote creek will have many of the same features as the one he toured in san diego last month. while that site has 400 residents, this one

will likely have room for about 100, but it allows us to do is get our unhoused neighbors into a managed site with on site security, sanitation meals. case management. >> and then we can ban campaign in public spaces like our parks and along our creeks and their schools and say you're not allowed to just camp anywhere in the city, but here is an area where you can be with some services that actually improve safety and reduce the risk of fire and reduce trash and and really give people a chance to start to turn their lives around. the mayor says that will be good news for those who live in the area. >> who have complained nearby watson park is felt unsafe due to homeless encampments. next steps include community meetings, site planning and hiring a service provider. so for now, the site is at the top of the list in assuming it stays there. >> we could see that safe sleeping site opening here in early 2025. in san jose. dan

kerman kron. 4 news. >> in the east bay business owners oakland's jack london square expressed frustration over a new plan, homeless shelter earlier this year. the jet the city council approved turn in jack london inn into homeless housing. but the business owners involves are concerned the shelter will bring more crime to the area. they say the group, including former oakland police chief and current city council candidate leronne armstrong says, but they're being ignored as the city moves ahead with its plans. >> something to come into the square that makes people want to come here. not something that deter our customers. i'm from patronizing our business that we work so hard for. and we demand a public airing by the city council. >> on this decision, none of us were notified this group of business owners. he's just asking for an opportunity to have a conversation with city leaders before decisions like >> the hotel was expected to become a shelter by the summer. that's still not

we don't know if that's going to jump to a tropical storm or anything like that just yet. they're watching it to see what's going to happen with all of this. you may hear about stuff along the gulf coast getting hit monday morning. so again, to be announced. meanwhile, the desert southwest, these are scattered thunder showers at work here. you can see that's just part of the monsoon kind of thing. these new study system vilma said storms, these new systems that are going to be dropping really gonna take a bite out of that and really insulate us from anything bubbling up our way. that's problematic. if you get those elevated thunder showers, that's really what we worry about on the monsoon. the can sometimes spark off those fires east bay shoreline is looking at some lower 60's right now. freeman. 57, meanwhile, we got 64 looks like for a livermore up to the north bay mid-fifties 58 for san francisco. 65 san jose. and what those lows dropping into place. the first one we kept talking about this is getting here about tuesday. there it is little further north in these model runs and maybe try to bring a few little showers our way potentially nothing major just may perhaps bring a little moisture with that winds to

kron four's lezla gooden explains how the family is now working to provide support. >> to those struggling with their mental health. >> on saturday, the nonprofit mackey's korner hosted its second annual suicide awareness block party. the event was born from lynette mackey is grief and is offering a safe space for uncomfortable conversations. i lost my 12 year-old grandson to and without any signs. and after suffer a while, i thought about it. there's a lot of people suffering. let's start talking about it. let's change it. and here we are today, her grandson jamal mackey junior took his life back in 2021 and effort to save other lives. lynette is bringing awareness through her community at a man here today. >> so much for the last 7 days. he suicidal and he came here today and he said it was suicidal right now. and i talked to him. and left and went to general hospital. hundreds of people filled the civic center plaza making this her largest turnout yet with

costa county. a person is dead after being trapped inside of a burning car. the california highway patrol says this happened around 02:30am, saturday off. i-80 west in hercules. we're told troopers called an ambulance about 10 minutes later. that person did unfortunately died from their injuries. investigators are looking into how that fire started. a 17 year-old teen accused of shooting a forty-niners player, ricky pearsall made his first court appearance. the suspect iu charged with attempted murder assault with a semiautomatic weapon and attempted robbery. kron four's rob nesbitt reports. >> the accused was sat before reporters were allowed in the 17 year-old from tracy setback to with his mother and father behind him. a spanish interpreter was brought in to translate for the parents. cameras were not allowed in the courtroom wednesday for the detention hearing of the 17 year-old charged with the attempted murder of forty-niners player ricky pearsall, deputy public defender. bob dunlap says his client has remorse for what

>> welcome back. taking a live shot now of still walnut creek there. and you can see the sunshine doing its thing and tri valley going to help us warm up still middle 90's going on today. but hang with us because, yes, it will improve in the week ahead. we're going shake off summer going forward. meanwhile, in the bay, we start to peel away some of this fog not doing a bad job of that. as you can see, the east bay shoreline opening up. now, still that just a tease of fog left over and you can see the clear inversion in place here being ripped away as we get the daytime heating, the atmosphere dynamic start to kick into place here. all very typical lower 60's lighting up the east bay shoreline, fremont 58. meanwhile inland, we're already looking a lot of 60's. 69 for antioch, 68 livermore. 59 san francisco, half moon bay to 57. it will be a little bit of a problem or little bit more in the way. maybe cloud cover lingering into the afternoon and some of the coastal locations. but the basic low down as this got a few bay clouds to make note of sunny hot well inland. and we talk about that then early next week. cooling quickly, well inland with lower 80's and tri valley. this is by

tuesday, wednesday zone. and that's going to be shaving off a good decade from those lofty highs. late in the week. now it gradually tries to recover to near about 90 we might do with thursday friday zone. whatever then next weekend, yet a new system drops in here and we get a nother big, major change here. now with all of this that happens, we get some moisture flows a little bit at least happening in the atmosphere. again, clearing out some of this bay fog. there's the flareup of clouds in the mountains, not enough moisture to scrounge up any rain showers here. then into monday. same deal may be in some coastal drizzle because we do have this system due to arrive by tuesday. clearing up, though, nicely for your afternoon. now, those winds, they remain loyally onshore yet. typically the pop in the afternoon a little bit more pronounced tomorrow because it's gonna be getting some help. now from this low that's coming in. and if you'll just give me a little bit of leeway here, let's look at some of the moisture levels that we really look at this. we're getting some fire concerns sometimes just sometimes when a winter system comes in,

last month. while that site has 400 residents, this one will likely have room for about 100, but it allows us to do is get our unhoused neighbor into a managed site with on site security, sanitation meals. case management. >> and then we can ban campaign in public spaces like our parks and along our creeks and their schools and say you're not allowed to just camp anywhere in the city, but here is an area where you can be with some services that actually improve safety and reduce the risk of fire and reduce trash and and really give people a chance to start to turn their lives around. the mayor says that will be good news for those who live in the area. >> who have complained nearby watson park is felt unsafe due to homeless encampments. next steps include community meetings, site planning and hiring a service provider. so for now, the site is at the top of the list in assuming it stays there. >> we could see that safe
