8:48 am
that's where it's going to start condensing out where the lower the number, the drier, the air simply put. and when you get numbers around, 30's and 40's, that's pretty dry. even during the afternoon and particularly during fire season of october. not good. now we do see a little recovery overnight. we tend to get that anyway. but we could to a 30 it still continues to build indicating that marine layer starting to fight back a bit too. also taking the edge off everything, ok, upstream, the major synoptic features, if you will, start to change things all week long by thursday. cooling off not as hot, although we probably won't get into that rain activity will stay to the north, but at least nice try. then we get into early the following week, a might be having another issue here with something that looks like a high trying to build around us. well, i don't see the numbers going crazy on the long-range forecast and it doesn't look like we're getting surface offshore winds. that's good, too. so we'll see how that develops into the following week. but at least we're getting a break. 4 zone forecast checking the things out everywhere. look at this. 91 san francisco to the coast.

as you mention, pretty common as we head into those colder months and it is possible to get all 3 at once. yes, you can get all 3 at once. have definitely seen patients, but but it definitely can happen. - yeah, it's ok. so the best way to protect ourselves against that from happening. i think the best way, of course, is vaccines to be up to date. most people over 6 months eligible for covid for rsv. it's really recommend it for those who are older than 75 or 60. to 75. if you have co-morbidities, if you got it last year, you don't have to get it this year. and for flu. again, those who are older than 6 months. so in terms of symptoms, are there any differences between the symptoms of like the common cold versus the flu versus covid at this point? yes. well, i think some of them more serious cases of flu and covid your whole reacts. so it's not just stories seeing nose and congestion, but you feel the muscle aches and the
8:53 am
body aches and headaches and a fever and that's kind of a kick tipoff into thinking that it's more than just a common cold ok, got it. so when people think that they might have something coming on. what is the best practice there? what should they do? well, i think some of the best practices are to stay home, if you will, because you don't know where it's going to try to get tested, particularly if you're older, i mean compromise. and the reason for that is you can take early action with early on time borrows time of flu for influenza. and of course, paxlovid covid. and that can really shorten the course and prevent hospitalization, ok, got it. so where are some easy places that people can go for quick access to say vaccines or paxlovid, for example? well, i think the most common places right now are your neighborhood drugstore is spread. it's really state that for people who have no insurance, california is going to rule out a plan to make it
