big dipper up there. look toward the sky. lit your eyes. get used to the darkness outside. you may get lucky and numerous meteors out there tonight. and of course, dress warmly. those temperatures cooling off into the 40's out there right now. not bad. we do have some partly cloudy skies right now. the rain not here just yet. you can see most that in far northern california been waiting for this to drop down. it will come through as we head to the late night and early tomorrow morning. so i you tomorrow could be a little rough early on. you see the rain coming through. you see some light, even some moderate amounts of rainfall. little bit heavier north of bottle toward santa rosa and then kind of drag into the bay area, turning more toward showers in the middle of the day by the afternoon. get some sunshine. maybe couple rainbows out there as well. and it looks like really a nice afternoon. developing behind that system. but this may be it. this may be the last significant rain we see for quite some time as that storm system moves through. high pressure begins to build in the storm and the jet track start to lift to the north. that's going to send most that rain in that direction as well too. then we get into next week and also restart talk about offshore winds. maybe some temperatures 60's, maybe couple 70's around
11:20 pm
the bay area. we're going to be bask in sunshine, warm temperatures. other parts of the country literally going to be freezing rain amounts with this next storm coming through. probably about a 3rd of an inch in the san francisco, maybe half an inch in toward places like santa rosa and then maybe an inch or so across some of the coastal ranges. but the long-range forecast for precipitation doesn't look very promising this through the 8 and the 12th of the month is we're going to keep things very dry temperatures tomorrow. you're going to be little bit cool with the rain moving through pine 50's 60's drying out in the afternoon over the next couple yeah, this is it. we're gonna get some rain now that it looks like we dry things out over the weekend. and i think that holds true not only through this next week about maybe the following weekend. so really not too about the 17th there. so we see that rain make a return. so a big break in the storm pattern hopefully comes back soon and heavy rain are like consistent like what we saw last month or early to. it is hard to say. i will say that we're in the heart of the season. i've seen it work gets a break. and all of a sudden it just comes back and just unload. so we'll have to wait and see. all right. thanks. aren't.
