in half moon bay, a beautiful day, but it can turn deadly if you're not careful because sneaker waves are known to come out of nowhere, hence the word sneaker and even take bolder is back into the ocean. much less you if you have a fur-baby, make sure your fur baby is on a leash because sometimes i speak or waive or even a normal wave can come along and grab your fur baby. and of course, you being a loving parent will rush into the water and it can be very tragic. so make sure your dog is on a leash. and then if you possibly can go higher and higher up the beach, you can see how high the waves are right now. what will make this even possibly worse is the fog. we've seen foggy conditions, which, of course, will cut down on visibility. so you got to be careful about that as well. keep in mind, it looks beautiful, but it could be dangerous, especially if

jonathan. 16 and chp is looking for a driver responsible for a deadly hit and run crash. that happened. >> saturday night in santa rosa on highway 101 near steele lane. a pedestrian was hit found laying in the roadway ended up dying at the scene. they're looking for the driver. in the north bay. police in santa rosa arrested a man for a pointed a gun at a driver in a road rage incident. 23 year-old calvin crump is the person who was arrested. officers responded to west 3rd street and amador drive around 5 o'clock in the evening on saturday and they ended up finding the suspect near stoney point road and guerneville road crump had a one month-old child and in the car and the child's mother in the car as well. officers found a loaded gun and ammo in the truck. time now is 10, 17 other news that we're following this morning.

richmond police are warning about an uptick in robberies. police say there have been 30 street robbery citywide since december. 1st and there are warning residents to be on alert when you're outside walking when you're going to your car, keep valuables out of sight as you walk in travel in groups to be safe or also if you see something suspicious report, it. >> happening today, we have 3 opened fire stations now closing their doors because of oakland's budget issues. you can see the list on your screen. the stations include station. 25 28 station. 10 was previously closed for remodeling, but they've made decision not to reopen it at all. oakland firefighters say these closings are going to mean that some residents might have to wait 10 minutes or more when it comes to an emergency. firefighters are currently holding a news conference outside city hall. we do have a crew there and we'll bring you the latest information as it becomes available. meanwhile, happening today, the oakland animal shelters, new hours are
